Tolles Angebot in guter Ausgangslage, mit Outdoor-Pool im 5. Stock

Preis-/Leistung ist außergewöhnlich positiv: sehr großes und gut ausgestattetes Zimmer, großes Frühstücksangebot, super Service. Viele unerwartete "Goodies" - vielleicht gibt es diese nicht immer, aber sie zeigen Großzügigkeit, die charakteristisch scheint: Zimmer-Upgrade, riesige Snacktüte als Willkommensgruß, kostenloser Flughafenshuttle, kostenloser late check-out. Es ist zwar ein "Kasten", auch für Meetings, aber kein Widerspruch zum Gefühl von Reisen/Urlaub. Perfekte Lage, weil nicht innerhalb des manchmal auch stressigen Altstadt-Quadrats, aber nah dran an der Altstadt und großes Angebot an Restaurants, Shops direkt vor der Tür. Nah am night market. Unser Highlight: Outdoor-Pool im 5. Stock. PS: wir waren im Premier Wing, das ist ein separates Gebäude direkt daneben - minimaler Preisunterschied zum "Standardzimmer" lohnt sich total; es war bei der Buchung über Booking.com nicht ganz so eindeutig erkennbar, dass es verschiedene Gebäude/Konzepte sind.

Kaum etwas zu kritisieren, nur "Jammern auf hohem Niveau": es gibt zwar einen Zimmerservice und eine Poolbar, aber insofern man außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten des Frühstücksbuffets/Restaurants etwas im Hotel essen oder Kaffee trinken möchte, ist das Angebot weniger überzeugend. Aber man kann ja auch einfach rausgehen, vor der Tür gibt es Vieles.

Great shower and in room control panel for lights. Modern facilities.

Dining options not great. Breakfast good but not outstanding. Location is outside hotel pickup area for tours.

Pour dormir et vaquer de facon autonome

La taille des chambres, la proximité de la vieille ville sans y être vraiment, un salon de massage / laundry juste en bas de l’hôtel.

Etablissement sans vie : la salle de sport et la piscine avec son bar ferment à 19h, le room service ferme à 21h, le restaurant est sombre, la salle du pdj n’est plus ouverte à partir de 10h, un personnel qui parle insuffisamment anglais.

Everything we needed and more!

Great location and great room. We were given a welcoming guest basket which was very kind. The gym was large and had a lot of equipment. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal with lots of options.

There was no functional hot tub at the pool. Front desk seemed understaffed but was not an issue - just had an empty vibe versus lively.

Sehr nettes Personal., sehr gute Zimmeraustattung. Die 2 Bedroom suite uebertraf die Erwartungen an Größe. Die Betten sind hervorragend. Einziger Makel: es gibt nur loeslichen Kaffee auf dem Zimmer, und auch nur 4 Tueten. Frühstück ist reichliich, Service ist sehr gut. Moon ist eine derjenigen die Service mit Herz leben. Sie hat sich richtig um die Gäste gekümmert. Zum Neujahrsbuffet war Sie zusätzlich noch ene echte Entertainerin, die für Stimmung sorgte. Wir empfehlen das Hotel ausdrücklich.

Lediglch mehr Kaffee auf dem Zimmer.

It’s ok, not really a five star experience. Staff are pleasant but not overly helpful. No vegan options.

Good enough location.

Shower was mouldy and drain kept blocking, flooding the bathroom floor. Bad smell of sewage in our room on return one evening. Pool not heated so was too cold to swim. No vegan options for breakfast except bread and fruit.

Heerlijke kamers en goede service.

De kamers waren erg ruim en ook was de service goed. We kregen een uitgebreid welkomstpakket met allemaal lekkernijen. De bedden waren erg goed, evenals de douche. Heerlijke kamers!

Het ontbijt was minder goed. Weinig keuze en ook de zaal is erg ongezellig.

Exceptional

The staff is super friendly and pleasant, we received a huge bag full of snacks and drinks. The receptionists are extremely professional and polite. The location is very close to the night market about 10 minutes walk. The pool is good, the gym is more than expected for a hotel. Best value for money!

Big & spacious. Only 10-15 min leisurely stroll to night market. Breakfast was superb!

For some taxi’s it wasn’t easy to find but then it was a separate wing of the empress.

They advertise as a 5-star hotel: in fact, we've stayed in better 3-star hotels

Large room, large bathroom. Breakfast itself was Ok but the people working that area were FANTASTIC: all smiles, helpful, pleasant. And we tipped them daily, accordingly.

- Extremely hard/cheap mattresses: we ended up using part of our comforter to cushion the mattress. - A very short room-service menu with high prices. - A bathroom with rust, scum, clogged shower, and an unfitting toilet seat. - Worst of all: in a six night/5 day stay we NEVER had anybody in the reception area smile or greet us when coming or leaving the hotel - sometimes they even won't open the door!
