If I could give The Louise 20/10 I would. It was exceptional. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, the staff were so friendly. You feel like a King or Queen the moment the front door is opened for you.
Honestly, there was absolutely nothing to report. Everything was perfect.

A luxurious escape
The personalised service received by the staff well matched the magnificent surroundings and the splendid premise. Nathan was our helpful host; his attention to detail and helpfulness added to our great experience.
Sunset drinks on the platform are a must. Food outstanding as well.

Pampered experience, which at these prices, you are looking for. Beautiful staff who understood they were their for the customers and to make them feel special. Overall nothing to complain about.
Pool area was, in my opinion, not quite hitting the mark as compared to the rest of the facility...still nice but could be improved in aesthetic ways.
Pool bar was again not meeting the level that the Louise strives for...just kind of below par and the drinks available were not the quality anticipated.
Floor outside shower seemed very slippery when wet...not ideal.
Just a thought...in the rear courtyard of our apartment it is really not able to be used for relaxation as it has direct sun for hours in the afternoon, which is great if that's your thing, but to sit in the very comfy chairs, in summer, maybe a small umbrella or shade sail that could be pulled out, even over a portion so you can sit without being in the sun.

We loved the privacy of the rooms , and the views were to die for . The breakfast was a great way to start the day in The Barossa , service and friendly staff were impeccable .
To be honest there was nothing we didn’t like .

Beautiful room, grounds, restaurant, food and the staff are absolutely wonderful! The greeting received when we first arrived was superior to anywhere I've ever stayed. Beds were super comfortable, bathrooms very impressive and outdoor showers are a cool wow factor! And the gas log fire was divine!
My husband thought there should have been a TV in the living area. There were TV's in each bedroom, but I had to agree with my husband after a while, as we were there as a family and couldn't really sit together to watch a movie or anything like that in the evenings.

The staff were lovely, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Also the views, especially around the pool area, were beautiful.
The rooms were a little dated and I didn’t think they were anything extra for what we paid compared to other properties we have previously stayed at around the same price point.

The friendliest and most helpful staff you'll ever meet. We were met on arrival and shown to our room. We were upgraded to a suite. We were then shown around the resort and the restaurants. We were made to feel extremely welcome.

The Louise is very well located in the centre of the Barossa with a short drive to most wineries. Each room has exceptional views and the addition of a pool was great to have in the hot Adelaide summer!

Everything was above and beyond.
The room, the facilities, the staff, and the food at the Appellation were all just next level.
We went there for our honeymoon and the whole experience exceeded our expectations.
Would highly recommend.

Loved the outdoor shower which was a blessing because the indoor shower went hot and cold.
A particular staff member at breakfast needs to learn body language and leave people to their breakfast rather than be over bearing and interrupt to many times. She is friendly but to put it bluntly very annoying and left us not wanting to go back for breakfast the 2nd day.
For the money we spent on the room and dinner it was overall a very disappointing experience
