This was a great place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and my wife’s milestone birthday.

Location perfect. Staff terrific, special shout outs to the Assistant Manager Ken, Wayne at both breakfast and the evening wine and cheese session and Carleton at the front of the house also the concierge. Amenities exceeded expectations.

Relaxing, enjoyable, rejuvenating - a total tonic for the soul!

What a fabulous hotel! Originally built in the middle of the 19th century, the hotel has loads of character and lots of history to tell. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly and made you feel as if you were coming home. The nightly early evening drinks and entertainment in the lounge were really special and set this hotel apart from all the others. The location was ideal and the whole of Savannah downtown is walkable from the hotel. A secure multi-storey car park is literally just round the corner, so accessibility is not an issue. If you are going to Savannah, you must must stay at the Marshall House!

Excellent location

Location was excellent. The hotel has a 5pm wine happy hour which was so nice to sit and listen to music. The hotel was very solid and we never heard anyone above or around us

TV was located in a strange place.

Very enjoyable experience, would definitely stay again!

The location was very convenient for walking. We never used our car except once for the beach. Very unique and quite comfortable. Really enjoyed the hour of wine and entertainment! Also, the breakfast was really good.

We had fun in Savannah and will return but will stay somewhere else.

Good location and easy walk to main sites. Hotel is pretty inside and is itself a historic site.

It may seem a small thing but the room did not have a mirror except in bathroom. Women need a full length mirror to dress. The toilet backed up on last day of a 2 night stay. The free breakfast was not good but the staff was very sweet. It was very expensive for what you get. I’ve stayed at expensive hotels before and this did not match up.

room was nice , the trivia and wayne were a hit , especally the wine at happy hour , the restaurant that connects is fabalous , we actually went 2 nights in a row .

the faucet it room 410 , needs attention irs either scaulding hot or freezing cold the mixer in the valve must be broke , the breakfast was just ok , i did not like the fill out paper to get breakfast served it was kinda odd especally in a hotel like that ,

Location, coffee, tea, and water in the lobby, free breakfast.

Extremely small shower and bathroom, and a small room, especially for the price. Floor is uneven and needs to be replaced. I realize it’s old and that’s the intended charm, but it seems like it’s deteriorating. The small room I got seemed to not be the one I booked online, as it was one of the very small king rooms, but I didn’t want to go through the hassle of changing because I knew they probably didn’t have one available, since it was the weekend. Weird breakfast situation and set up. It would be much better if you had a buffet and not have to order what you want off a checklist. this all would be great if the price were less, but $245 for a very very small uncomfortable room and shower is a bit much. Also, valet is $38 a night? Crazy.

not horrible but would not stay there again.

location, historical- friendly front desk staff

breakfast staff - they bring you your food and you never see them again - they avoid eye contact and turn away - heaven forbid you want a beverage refill. Ate there 2 out of 3 mornings and both times felt rushed and like we were an inconvenience - perhaps they should go to self-serve instead of relying on staff that have no desire to provide guests with a positive experience.

Our room was so hot (77 degrees F) and even though we turned down the heat, it stayed too warm throughout the night resulting in a poor night’s sleep.
