Nice hotel -far end of town

Lovely staff - nice room with sea view

Unfortunately its at the "other end" of the town so a long walk to most of the shops, restaurants, bars etc

Tiring carrying all the things we needed for our puppy up and down stairs

Location as expected on the seafront with wonderful views. Staff very dog friendly and helpful. Moved my room to 1st floor instead of 2nd as I have mobility issues and lift was out of order. Disabled parking bay right by entrance.

The toilet didn't flush very well, water out of taps very slow flowing. Didn't try the shower as although it had a grab rail, there was a large step into a rather small cubicle. Hotel was booked as it said there was a lift but it was out of order. Breakfast to be served a bit earlier, 8 -10am was a bit late for us. Bit basic for the price paid would have liked a better quality of refreshments, e.g herbal teas, hot chocolate, decent biscuits. Couldn't access the wifi.

Awful, I want my money back!

Location

Unclean, pealing and broken wallpaper, smelly, noisy and the shower didn’t work properly. It was awful.

Highly recommend

The owner and her staff where very nice, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and do anything you need. Very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be booking again. We had a sea view room. Views are stunning.

There's nothing to dislike. Absolutely fantastic stay.

Shocking.

Bacon brick hard and cold. Scrambled eggs just a massive yellow tasteless lump. Sausages well over cooked. I liked nothing about breakfast, the area to collect it and the lack of availability of a decent sized hot water container.

Everything. On arrival, hair in the shower tray, dirt and filth in and around the shower tray, emulsion paint covered many things as well as the walls I.e. shaver switch, door handles, the Yale lock on the door. One chair had no support for sitting - sunk onto square metal frame digging into legs. Rotten wood trimming around skirting board in two places, plastic plate glued onto top of cistern, glass shelf above sink not been cleaned recently, dirt on top of socket switch, “comfy” chair brick hard and uncomfortable, duvet cover a metre long and trailed on the floor. Breakfast plate chipped, door jam chipped with paint coming off, bottom of door opposite absolutely filthy. Asked for a jug to hold boiling water for my own coffee and told they didn’t have anything bigger than one the size of a small cream jug. Finally found one, not much bigger, but water not boiling, just hot. I have photos of all these issues which can be shown if necessary. To sum up, the place was filthy and run down.

Morecambe on the up

We enjoyed our stay, the Hotel is in a transition period and we were made very welcome the room was a good size and very comfortable, Internet is super fast and a Smart telly to watch all your favourite TV programmes while it was p!$$!ng down outside, would definitely book again

The breakfast was very good

The evening meal was decidedly below average, it tasted as though it had been cooked earlier and kept warm. The room was clean and comfortable but it needs some work, there has been a leak at sometime and it needs covering( painting), there is a crack in the sink and in the toilet.

Friendly and helpful staff, great room with a first class view

Well appointed single room with an adjoining bathroom almost as big as the bedroom. The view from the large picture windows in both rooms is amazing, the whole of Morecambe Bay is spread out in front of you. Excellent and varied breakfast spread. Would definitely stay again

lovely stay and would recommend to others

the room was a good size and clean, it was right on the water front and a 20 minutes from town. the breakfast was good. there was a good entertainment at night.

the food offer at the restaurant was quite limited

Easy stop over location for border to Scotland

Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Room was clean

Evening meal not up to standard. Hotel is a little tired and in need of a decoration. Lift is very old and needs modernising.

Overall very nice stay.

Location was very good, free parking on road, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. New looking carpet in bedroom.

In the bathroom the sealant around shower cubicle etc. was in need of replacing. The flooring also very worn. As the room carpet was very clean or new this was a bit of a let down. But it was clean.

A pleasant overnight stay

The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and had nice view over the bay. The breakfast was very good with plenty of selection.

There was no provision for locking up Cycles but we were allowed to lock them up in a unused room.
