Overall it is a good place to stay because of its location to town.

It is a good location. Easy walk to a good restaurant and to town. The room was comfortable and the view was fine. There would be better views in other units.

The room was cold when we arrived but once we got the heat going it was fine.

This hotel has several buildings and that isn’t obvious when reserving a room. The room I reserved looked like an old motel from the outside.

The location and view can’t be beat! Staff was friendly, helpful. Rooms were remodeled beautifully since our visit last year.

It was great!

We loved the location. We had a balcony room with a water view. The room was very clean and the view was spectacular! We would definitely stay there again.

It was a comfortable and clean place to stay with a helpful staff.

I liked the cleanliness and that the person at the counter was helpful.

I think the facilities were not as nice as I expected after viewing the website. The website mentioned breakfast but there was none because of construction. It wasn’t a huge problem, but when you offer something it’s a disappointment to not follow through. The courtyard was a mess with scattered chairs.

Poor location for a hotel.

Bed was comfortable.

Extremely noisy! Right next to the busy highway. Could hear traffic the whole night. For a hotel by the water I was given a room with no water view at all.

Romantic getaway

location was great. very romantic - jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and wonderful view. we extended our stay a night just to relax a bit longer!

Weird room, weird vibe but otherwise a comfortable night's stay with an excellent view.

The bed ways very large and comfortable. The TV was massive and the selection of channels was good. The view out my window wasn't great but from the parking lot it was amazing. Staff were quite friendly.

This place had a weird vibe from the beginning. Not bad but weird. The room i had had been retro fitted and was in a terrible location. My window looked out into the parking lot, my bathroom window which was eye height and not frosted enough looked into the public corridor. The door of said corridor was right by my bedhead and was extremely loud. Other than that it was pretty good.

Could have been better.

The view and proximity to the beach was great. The bed was comfortable and new renovation made the unit feel fresh and clean.

The doors did not have deadbolts. The first room that I booked had a sliding glass door onto a deck that did not close or lock properly and was a huge safety concern. The faucet sprayed water when I first turned it on. I couldn't figure out the HVAC system, so had trouble controlling the temperature in the room. There were no instructions on how to use it. It was either too hot or too cold. The shower was very cramped. The bathtub was old and looked dirty and cracked. The windows and doors were old and drafty.

Pleasant

I arrived in Port Townsend at noon and requested an early check-in or a place to leave or bags, as I didn't want them left visible in the back seat of my truck. The desk clerk Susan repeated several times that check-in was 4 pm(states 3pm on site) . I kept trying to explain that I just wanted to leave my 2 suitcases at the hotel. In an exasperated tone, she finally sighed heavily and said, "You can leave them here" ( next to the luggage trolley). I thanked her, and then my adult niece asked if there was a rest room she could use. Susan then says, "What do you need a restroom for?" "Are you going to put your bags in the restroom?" Honestly, this unnecessary exchange soured my visit to Port Townsend. The facility is fine, nice views. No longer offers Continental Breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. A little hospitality would go a long way in making a stay here pleasant.

Booking.com advertised false information

The booking.com site said we had a view and there was no view we faced the street. False advertising from booking.coms website

They could have been friendlier and more accommodating, especially for the exorbitant price.

The location on the water was beautiful!

We asked for a roll-away bed and they said we could only get a cot in the room. When we got to the room, there was obviously enough room for the roll-away bed instead. I would have much preferred to pay extra and have my guest be comfortable on a roll-away instead of forcing him to sleep on a rickety cot.

Way better experience than last time!

Newly renovated!! Everything was great, comfortable room, amazing views! Close to a lot of great restaurants and attractions. The best part was the large spa tub! :)

Nasty Hotel

The view.

It was the dirtiest room we had ever stayed it. Under the bed was months of dust, stains and hair on sheet, jetted tub had stains and hair in it. Everything was dirty. Only one chair for 2 of us staying there. I would not even take a shower there. It was just nasty. Will not ever stay there again. Microwave and fridge were in the closet.. Front desk person said his name was Skeeter. Beware folks, place is bad.

front desk personnel thought I was getting an upscale room but surprisingly was sent to the "back lot" to room on a parking lot with no view.
