Camera grande per gli standard giapponesi, bagno in camera piccolo ma molto funzionale, amenities sempre a disposizione, ottima posizione, ottima pulizia.

Excelente localização, quarto espaçoso (para padrão Japão), cama bem confortável, muito silencioso. Staff fala inglês. Na mesma rua, na quadra seguinte, tem uma lavanderia 24hs que funciona com moedas. A acomodação empresta guarda-chuva - a gente nunca acha que vai precisar até que chove. Ao redor do hotel, em um raio de 3 ou 4 quadras, muitos restaurantes e cafés. Metrô próximo. Estação de trem fica a uns 30-35 minutos a pé, mas tem um ônibus que passa na porta que vai direto. Recomendo!

Sehr schöne Lage, freundliches Personal und tolle Partnergeschäfte. Die App für den Aufenthalt ist super einfach gestaltet und hilfreich. Auch die Nachhaltigkeit wird dort gut umgesetzt.

Мало розеток в номере, хорошая слышимость , а также один выключатель света на весь номер это мало, не хватало разделения на зоны

일반적인 호텔 서비스는 기대할 수 없다. 생수는 첫날만 제공. 수건 교체, 쓰레기통 비우기 등등, 웬만한 건 직접 해야 한다. (이런 부분이 사전에 홈페이지에 분명히 적혀 있다면 예약에 참고가 될 것) 방바닥은 장판. 욕실엔 콘센트가 없어서 드라이기를 이용할 때 거울을 볼 방법이 없다. 또한 객실 관련 요구사항을 말해도 직원들간 소통이 원활하게 이뤄지지 않는 것 같다. 직원들의 전문성도 부족해 보였다.

Property was very clean and comfortable. The staff there were amazing and helped with anything I needed. Location was great, you could walk into the main area or catch a taxi for 1000. Would 100% stay again.

Facilities are not what shown in the pictures, more than often this happens and it's okay, but what we didn'tlike was the fact cleaning service was not included. Restroom was extremely tiny and unconfortable. The tatami experience is great, but if cleaning services are not offered it's not as enjoyable.

Easy Online-Check-In before arrival, I could open the door by an App on my phone. well equipped and well located in Kyoto. the bus station is in front of the hotel. Wifi was working all the time. The room was luxurious.

Location is good and room is spacious.

There is no electrical outlet in the bathroom nor one close to the mirror.

The Signature Suite was spacious and fully equipped. The wi-fi was strong. We had a high floor and look out to the neighbourhood from the balcony. Bus no. 50 stops right in front of the hotel and is about 10 min ride to and from Kyoto Station. Standard bus fare is 220 yen. We found it easier to get to hotel using the bus than take a train and walk to the hotel. It is easier to get to where you want to go from Kyoto station. There are trains, metro, subways and buses that run north-south-east-west of Kyoto from this station. The bus terminal station is right in front of Kyoto Station level 1. The basement of the station has lots of choices for food and drinks if you are hungry or thirsty. Around the hotel, there is a handmade soba noodle restaurant, a Spanish restaurant, a beer place, convenience stores, a 24hr laundromat, a money changer, a small exercise park and many other small eateries which we did not have time to try. If you walk and explore further down or up the street where the hotel is, you will some to the main road which is where the business district is. You will find more restaurants and supermarkets. You can find very good Tonkatsu here. Wished we had time to visit the market nearby. It was closed on Wednesday when we were there and we had to leave for Tokyo the next day.

Would have been nice if the bathroom was a little bigger. We also preferred the price quoted and we paid before our trip included the local taxes. We had to make an additional payment at the hotel. Though it was not much more but we wished the amount was communicated upfront so that there are no surprises. The hotel could share useful information with guests to help make their stay better such as provide map of Kyoto, how to get to and from hotel and Kyoto station by bus. This is definitely much easier option unless you have huge luggage. Suggest a few places for guests to explore around the hotel. These are areas that can add to the attractions of staying at Wayfarer.

The room was great, the futons were really comfy and the staff was super friendly! There were free amenities for us to take any time from the lobby such as sleepers, teabags, toothbrushes, and more. And even a coin operated washing/drying machine. At 100 meters from the hotel there's is also a sneaker dryer which came really in handy after two consecutive rainy days!

It's a bit far from the Gion area to go by walk (20 min), but there's many available buses. There aren't enough plugs in the room. I didn't like that we had to pay extra for taxes outside of Booking.

The tatami mats smelt amazing. It was a true futon experience for the kids - they had fun rolling it out and packing it back in the morning.

The toilet was a little tiny.

Got really good sleep in japanese styled beds. Clean room, friendly staff, great location - bus to the main station stops right next to the hotel! Lots of great restaurants nearby.

Laundry service is a joke, DO NOT USE! You will pay at least $1000 yen for a proper wash and dry of 3kg clothing. That is, if you get a machine. Washers have locks which means someone could have their washing in for the whole day. Since there are only 2, this makes washing almost impossible. There is a sign that says staff will remove washing if it is inconveniencing other guests but when we asked, the staff said no. So be prepared for the staff to not even follow their own rules and policies… Tatamis mattresses are hard, bathroom soap was half full and the tv wasn’t plugged in but instead wrapped behind other tv cord covered in dust. Overall poor stay and very disappointed.

the room was very clean and had everything we needed. it was simple and basic, but that was reflected in the price. great location and friendly staff.
