Great little house perfect for a beach trip! We didn’t drive the whole visit. Nice driveway parking so you are off the street. Close enough to walk everywhere you need to go around the beach. Having a key pad entry made it nice not to worry about a key while at the beach. The outside shower and hose made it nice to wash sand off before going inside. Great location! Enjoyed our relaxing time away.

We loved staying at this great little spot just seconds from the beach. It's walking distance to everything in/near Newport Ave. The place has been well maintained and updated and we were provided ample blankets, towels, etc. The owner was very communicative before our stay, which was nice.

My husband and I came here on a family vacation for a beach getaway with our 4 boys ages 10-16. The property could not have been better. The location was awesome, the property was exactly as described and we had everything we possibly needed. It was also very clean!! Connie was amazing. I highly recommend Connie and her property! This beach house was perfect for us. The location, was perfect as close to the beach and shops/restaurants. The decor was gorgeous and so comfortable. They thought of everything we could possibly need. The private patio always topped off the evening so nicely. I highly recommend this cozy beach house.

Quite, comfortable, very close to beach. Everything we needed for a short get away. Only concern was the living room rug. Corner curled up creating a fall hazard.

We had a semi-last minute trip to visit a sick relative. We found this property in San Diego and it was available. It was perfect! It was very clean and modern. It had everything we needed (and more). When we had questions, the owner/manager was very responsive and had an answer. We will look for other properties they own and use them again! Plus, if we return to San Diego, we would stay at the same home. It was across the street from the beach. It was a quiet location. It was close to eating, gas, and activities. It had all we needed! Thanks for a great experience and the perfect property for us!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights with a 5, 2, and almost 1 year old. We loved it and it worked well for us! There is a lot of glass furniture but as long as you watch the kids it’s not a problem and adds a nice a touch to the appearance of the place. It’s a very short walk to the beach and not far from the pier. We also liked the short drive to sea world as it didn’t put us back late to the place after being gone all day. The kitchen was very well stocked and has anything you should need to cook. There was also plenty of extra towels, rags, and even soap and shampoos. The boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels were a wonderful extra touch and we appreciated having them to use. The beach right by the house had a lot of homeless beach bums but still was okay for walks. We spent a day at the beach farther north up at Torrey pines which was much cleaner but too pricey to stay close too. There is a lot of little restaurants and bars within walking distance or short drives from the house.

Great stay in OB!

The location is ideal -literally steps from the beach, yet quiet. Ideal for families. Kitchen supplies are amazing. I look forward to staying there again.

Connie has a great little gem right in OB … just steps from the beach! She has thought of everything right down to providing beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards! Quiet neighborhood with lots of local restaurants! Connie is also very quick to respond to any question! We will be back!! ,

Our experience was great, and this was our second stay. We loved being across the street from the beach, the house had all the amenities like towels, beach chairs, and many others things. We was able to cook a couple of meals for our kids, and afterward went out to enjoy a nice bond fire in the sand. The host was great, and if we needed anything, she will get to it promptly. We loved the fact that all the local restaurants were friendly and shopping was close. This house accommodated us greatly, and we look forward to coming back again an again. Thank you for a great stay.

My friends and I had a great time staying at the property in ocean beach. The location was great, right by the beach and within walking distances of a lot of restaurants and bars. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions and provided lots of things to boost our stay, such as any kind of beach items you could think of. If I make it back to San Diego, I would recommend this place!

Positives - the location is amazing. It is minutes away from the beach and is very close to Sea World, La Jolla, and places to eat. The unit has everything that is listed. The A/C units were a huge plus. Without them we would have been too hot. For the beach there is a cooler, 2 umbrellas, a few chairs, and boogie boards to use. There is ice in the freezer and a water purifier jug in the fridge. There were some staples in the cupboard such as salt, pepper, and oil. It was very easy to log into our Netflix accounts from the TVs and being able to watch TV in the master bedroom and the living room was a huge plus. The patio area had a shower head where you could rinse off and a hose that you could use to rinse off other items that had sand on them. It also had a door from the patio to the house which was nice. The shower head was very nice and the shower had a detachable spray nozzle in addition to the shower head. The shower did have a shower curtain so I had to make sure it was covered correctly to avoid water getting out of the shower. Towels and beach towels were also provided. Some shampoo, and soap were provided in the bathroom and dish soap, sponge, and dishwasher pods were provided in the kitchen. There is a washer and dryer and some detergent and dryer sheets were available. Negatives - This is NOT a property for families with small children. The coffee table is glass - both on the top and a shelf under the table. The dining table is also glass. The couch and the dining room table chairs are either leather or pleather. All of the cups and plates are breakable - I had fortunately brought some cups from home for the kids to use as well as straws. I ended up purchasing paper plates and bowls. I had to be constantly vigilant as my younger children thought the coffee table made a great drum or something to lay underneath since they could see through it. I had to constantly be on them to leave the table alone. The beds are also at a height where my youngest ones would have been hurt if they had rolled off the bed onto the tile floor. Connie was kind enough to let us push the two twins together to help avoid a mishap. We were very careful to move them without damaging anything. While there were a couple of other things I needed to contact the host about, she was always very responsive to my messages. Overall, I really did think this property was great. I would stay here again if I had older kids.

Overall I recommend this cozy getaway for a family trip. 5 stars for sure
