Located in Oak Island, this lovely house for $190 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Remodeled kitchen & walk in shower. All new appliances in 2022. New vinyl plank flooring. "Tuesday Afternoon" is a perfect home for your family's vacation. It is a 3 bedroom home with two full baths. The master bedroom has two Queen beds and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has 1 queen bed with a new memory foam mattress. The third bedroom has a King bed. All bedrooms have black out curtains for guests to have a restful night sleep. Beautiful vinyl plank flooring in kitchen, living room and both bathrooms. Each bedroom has a flat screen Roku television. The living room has a flat screen Roku Smart TV with a DVD player. We provide cable service with 125 channels, and high speed wireless internet. You can access your favorite streaming channels on all the televisions. There is a two zone heating and air conditioning system. There is a large covered front porch to enjoy the evening after a long day at the beach. You can get a peek of the ocean from the front porch, and hear the waves rolling in. Relax and listen to the ocean waves. The kitchen is completely remodeled and fully equipped to meet all your needs. A new refrigerator was purchased in 2023. New stainless steel range and dishwasher in 2022. A new washer and dryer in 2021. There is also a new large pantry in the kitchen for storage. Lowes Foods is only 10 minutes away, New Publix store is just a two mile drive. Food Lion is three miles from the house. There are many activities available to you, Miniature golf, Oak Island Golf Club, parks, community center and many fun activities throughout the island. The house is located on a quiet street. It is only a 4 minute walk to the beach on 25th Place located at the end of the block. Turn the corner and you are at the beach. There is a large backyard for outdoor games. It is a very private backyard , fenced, and an empty lot next door for privacy. Outdoor shower with dressing area, and hot and cold water to wash away the sand from your day at the beach. Our homeowner insurance and the VRBO damage protection insurance does NOT cover a renter's lost vacation week, including mandatory evacuations. We highly recommend you purchase Travel Protection Insurance. Please go to www.vacationprotection.com or call 1-877-243-4135 for more information on travel protection/cancellation insurance. ***BYOL (Bring your Own Linens- bed sheets, bath towels, beach towels) or rent them from a local company. Sharon's Linens & Beach Rentals 910-363-4839 or www.sharonslinen.com OR Oak Island Linens 910-454-0876 OR Beach Stuff Linen Rental 910-523-0971 are three local options. Oak Island is a family friendly destination. Enjoy the beautiful Atlantic Beach and plenty of restaurants for dining out. Southport waterfront and shopping is a short drive away. You can also take a short ferry ride to the North Carolina Aquarium, Fort Fisher and Civil War Museums and Bald Island. There is a splash pad and new skateboard park. All beds have comforters, plastic pads, mattress pads and encased pillows. We do not provide linens; guest will have to bring their own sheets and towels. There is a $150 Departure cleaning , NC tax is 12.75% and mandatory. Property damage Protection $59 and required. No smoking in the house. Pets considered, ( 2 pets maximum) $50 charge per pet. Must discuss with the owner before booking. Renters must be 25 years of age. PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE FEE DIRECTLY FROM VRBO. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OWNER. THE FEE IS BASED ON A SLIDING SCALE BETWEEN 4-10% OF THE RENTAL, DEPENDING ON LENGTH OF STAY. Long term rentals are available: November 1- March 31st. Monthly rate: $3000. Inquire through VRBO to discuss with owner. Weekends are available in the fall with a minimum stay of 3 days. New 2024 - EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERA- On when house is vacant, and during a predicted hurricane warning to monitor weather. Our house cleaning policy will continue following guidelines from the CDC. All bathrooms and kitchen will be wiped down thoroughly with an antibacterial cleaner. We provide antibacterial hand and dish soap.

Plenty of space. Gated front porch so the dog could stay out as long as he wanted. Front porch was a great place to enjoy the sun in the afternoons. 5 minute walk to the ocean - great location. Very quiet this time of year. So a great relaxing vacation.

We had a great week in this home! It is cozy and very clean and well cared for! The close location to the beach is very convenient. We enjoyed the covered front porch and our dog enjoyed the grass in the back yard. Communication was easy and prompt with Gail. It’s a lovely cottage beach house!

We were so happy with the location of this property being less than 5 minutes' walk to the beach. I was happy with how clean the place was, despite being a pet-friendly property. The luxury vinyl plank floors are perfect for sandy feet and pets--easy to clean up. It has a small but very well put-together kitchen with whatever you need for your stay including crockpot, coffee pots, kitchen items for cooking, and newer appliances. The owner, Gail, was responsive to questions/concerns. We couldn't have found a better place for our stay at Oak Island!

This house is simply amazing! Like the title says this is all you need and more. Walking to the beach takes less than 3 minutes. The large backyard is great for kids to play in and the outside charcoal grill was nice to have. The owner was a great help and super responsive to any questions we had. I will not only recommend this house. I recommend this house to anyone and everyone!

This was our best stay on the island...everything was perfect! Gale was wonderful and attentive to our needs when we had a misstep with securing linens. The distance to the beach was easily walkable even with gear and older family members in tow. We will be back!

The check-in and check-out process was easy. All the information we needed was in a book by the entryway. We loved visiting Oak Island and everything you need is close to the house! Place was neat and clean and pet friendly. Efficient cookware and has washer/dryer and a grill. Our only difficulty was the room with a bathroom did not have the king bed.

We had a great experience staying at Gail’s house on Oak Island. The house was furnished with all of our needs. We were just a short walk to the beach and a five minute drive to anything we would need throughout our stay. Completely recommend this property for a family vacation.

The house had everything we needed for our week at the beach
The house was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and even included some basic spices, paper towels, foil, dish soap, hand soaps, laundry detergent and more. The location is great and easy walk to the beach entrance. We really enjoyed the time on the shaded front porch and also loved the outdoor shower. Gail was very responsive and helpful too. Would definitely stay there again!
