Hopeless hotel, third class facilities and unbearable food.

Nothing. Third class room, third class breakfast and dinner. No proper approach to hotel and far away from other services.

Nothing special about Xanadu Meghdootam. There is no food facility inside. They brought food from outside dhaba which has no test at all and charged almost twice. Breakfast is only limited two 2 dishes. Poori bhaji and bread. Hotel is almost at outskirts and nothing around the hotel. The room is badly smelling and lot of insects inside. After continuous request of room refreshener they open windows. Washroom is common for 2 rooms. Very small hotel and having limited approach. I strongly recommend not to book this hotel also even if they give free accommodation do not avail to spoil your stay.

Good Property in a beautiful setting

Pros - Quiet, away from hustle bustle.. scenic location Youvraj n Manigandan took excellent care .. very good place to relax decent collection of board games if someone wants to play Netflix connection in the shared TV, in the living room.

No network connection - but this could be a positive as well. We booked two rooms and there is a single bathroom to b shared by four people. it was clearly mentioned though.. The living space n TV is also shared between guests of three rooms.. Access road is steep, towards the end, and not very well maintained.

Homely ambience, tasty food, great service from the staff. While it is not very far from the kodai lake, the drive up to the property can be a little steep for inexperienced drivers.

Could have more room heaters in the hall and dining, better housekeeping and more variety in the food menu perhaps

Overall pleasant weekend with tasty food, comfortable living space and two friendly doggos 🐶

Secluded, great for a solo traveller on an expensive motorcycle 😉

Tiny heater that barely reached me, I visited in November and the temps were under 10 degrees! For kids/families that would be uncomfortable

Beautiful and relaxing place to spend time with your loved ones

The location was very beautiful. The front porch was private with benches and tables to sit outside. Shiva the manager there took care that the food was served inside the room itself and we were made comfortable. He also called us in advance to ask us about the lunch on our day of arrival and kept things ready. All in all a great place to stay with clean rooms and washrooms. Also the TV had Netflix, Prime Video and Hotstar!! With good internet.😃

Situated in a quiet and scenic location. Rooms were clean with a great view overlooking the hills. Hotel staff were very polite and prompt with the service. Food too was satisfactory.Great place for a weekend getaway away from the hustle bustle of cities with family.

At night when the temperature drops it gets quite cold. So, expect room heaters to function properly which was not during our stay.

7 pros vs 4 cons, great staff ..

1. Cordial and very supportive staff 2. Amazing food at proper prices 3. Special child food arranged and delivered without extra charge for 18 month kid 4. Netflix, amazon prime etc available with internet facility 5. The view and landscape inside facility 6. Room setup especially furniture that had rounded off corners to avoid injuries to kids 7. Bonfire arranged by staff (extra charge but worth it)

1. No name board en route or even outside the property to identify (maybe to avoid some taxes/scrutiny), main Path inside property was under repair 2. Presence of multiple dogs from neighbouring properties was a little troublesome since we weren't really dog lovers; but staff helped in shooing them away after we reached out to them 3. Games area was too small, could be larger.. 4. Cost of stay a little high compared to other leading providers

Cosy and peaceful.

The setting with all those beautiful views when not shrouded by mist. Staff always on stand by mode, even till quite late at night. Manager most helpful in a discreet manner. Special mention for Lucky and Jackie, the two dogs.

Too remotely situated, not easily accessible. Sockets not very secure.
