Weve been coming to Breakwater Village for 6 years and though weve stayed in many great places, this was our favorite one so far. The house is beautifully appointed in shades of gray and white, bright and beachy, yet clean and modern too. All the rooms are great but the kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances is especially stunning, with everything you need and nothing you dont at your fingertips. Wall A/C units all over the house came in very handy during a humid week. And then there is the location. From the kitchen window and the upstairs deck, you will have breathtaking unobstructed ocean views, with only one house and a short flight of stairs between you and the beach. All 3 bedrooms are a decent size and the master has a sliding door leading out to a flagstone patio from which you can also see the ocean, not to mention you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean from most of the rooms in the house. Size: We were 3 adults and 2 older kids and we were very comfortable in this house.Beds: There is a queen bed in the master bedroom, and a double (I think) with a trundle bed in another, and a bunk bed in the third room that our boys loved. Flat TVs in every room, if you so choose. Bring linens and towels.A little about the Village: Its private, quiet, and special. Its in a bay rather than open ocean, which makes it a great choice for families with younger kids, although ours are older now and still want to come back here every year. The private beach is obviously the big attraction, but shopping, go-karts, mini golf, etc. are all in close range. Food wise you have a lot of options within a short distance. Iggys is the old standby and their chowder and famous dough boys wont disappoint anyone. But give Bennys Clam Shack a try, too. They are the new kids on the block and they also serve a hearty and very reasonably priced breakfast. If you prefer to grill your own fish, head into Galilee and get whatever your want fresh off the boat. The grill and kitchen gives you all the tools you need to make your own meals if thats what you want to do.5 stars and well be back next year!

We had a great week in Narragansett. The location can't be beat and the house was perfectly comfortable for a weeks stay with 2 kids. The neighborhood is awesome, my 9 and 12 year old quickly met other kids and they just biked around all week when not at the beach. Highly recommend, we already booked again for next year.

We could not have asked for a better place to take my Dad for an early Father's Day gift. The view of the ocean from the living area was stellar... A great time had by all.

This property was amazing for our family with young children. We went with a 3 year old and a 2 month old. One parent could take the 3yo to the beach while the other parent enjoyed the rooftop deck when the baby slept. It was the best of both worlds.

This home is one house back from the water (not 3 as Google Maps shows). It feels practically brand new, and is a stand out in the neighborhood, which is mostly much older cottages (and they’re thankfully one story tall between you and the sea). Your view of the ocean is unobstructed from the 2nd floor deck, and a very short walk to the stairs down to the beach. Solid breeze upstairs, windows all around, just fantastic (missing a few kitchen screens though).Couple things to note, due to my lack of experience. Hold the remote controls very close to the built in wall (not window) AC units. Bring your own sheets (queen, double, double, twin), but buy ones for thick mattress’s (14”+)... atleast for the queen bed. No need for ice, the ice maker in the fridge is huge, and eager to please. Didn’t use the Weber gas grill, but it was ready to go, with extra propane tank just in case. There is no tub, so children will need to be able to shower themselves, or, well, we’ve all been there, right? If you can’t find the bath mats, check the dryer on ground level in the hall. Bring some hand towels, or extra paper towels. Bring a few dishwasher and laundry tabs, but you’ll probably find some there to exchange. We had a great time, and the home is beautiful. Love the beds down, kitchen/living up. Children were far more interested in the breakwater than the beach, which still confounds me? No surfable waves to speak of here, it’s a sheltered harbor, but the light surf/waves still lull you to sleep. Hope we have the pleasure again.

The home was pristine, beautiful and the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. The only drawback is the living room. You can only seat 4 people and its extremely tight. The kitchen is beautifully appointed but cozy. You can only park 2 cars, so if you have additional vehicles you have to park them in guest parking if there is a space. the neighbors are very helpful and friendly.

Stayed with 4 adults, 2 boys, and one baby. Everything was great. We would go back. Private beach nearby was perfect and not packed at all (we were there Father’s Day weekend). Several fishing spots and beautiful Fisherman’s memorial in walking distance.
