Everything was great! Only suggestion would be to provide more cleaning supplies (dish cleaner, dishwasher soap, clothes detergent.) This way we could clean the dishes and towels without going to the grocery store. Overall wonderful!!

While the location and views were everything we hoped for, the property is time worn and needs some updates. The couch in the living room has saggy cushions. One of the toilets downstairs kept running and needed adjustments to the chain. One of the sinks downstairs needs replacement. Porcelain is all chipped. Three of the burners in the kitchen didn’t work or were not adjustable for heat. A repair call was answered the day after we called because it was Easter. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms seemed to be more updated and were quite nice. For people traveling by air, it is not practical to buy all the toiletries and bare necessities needed to spend a week. Things like salt and pepper and dishwasher soap should be provided, as well as soap and some basic supplies. The rental cost was high to not supply these necessities. Joan

This is a wonderful classic beach cottage with a location that can’t be beat. Plenty of room for our family of 10 (adults). It’s an older home surrounded by some opulent oceanfront mansions, and if you’re looking for fancy…keep looking. But if you’re looking for a wonderfully comfortable classic beach home, where you and your family can make some awesome memories, you may have just found the spot.

The pictures don't do this home justice! It was immaculately clean and larger than the pictures seemed. It was the perfect size for our multi-family vacation. The only thing better was Heather as a host. She was happy to answer all of our questions and was extremely responsive with any request! This was our first time to Sullivan's Island. It's extremely walkable/bike friendly. If you like walking to restaurants, ice cream shops, etc, it's a great destination! There were a few things that I wish I'd known to be better prepared (this is NOT a reflection on Heather, she answered any and every question that we had). We usually use a 10x10 pop up tent for shade at the beach. But, due to how windy it was on the beach, we couldn' put the tent up and had to go out and purchase a Shibumi just to have some shade for the kids to play. Also, the public boardwalk to the beach next to the house was covered in water and impassable with a wagon and small children. Supposedly this was due to a large amount of rain prior to our stay, but the water remained throughout the week with no additional rain. There were other boardwalks about a block away that were more passable. Just a little bit of a bummer. Overall, the house and host are a 10 out of 10! I would stay in any property that Heather hosted again!

Just a perfect beach house for our entire family--proximity to the beach and the business district made it so much more enjoyable. Lots of room to move around and relax. Hope to be back.

Good but house was showing wear aside from the significant water leak into living room and porch during heavy rain. Kitchen cooking equipment could be better - no baking dishes, not many saute pans, few baking sheets, etc. Light in oven not working. Light and fan controls are confusing. Upstairs AC not working efficiently- mildew smell and damp feeling. Outdoor shower not really usuable - no drainage and could be more private. House needs power washing and painting. Some porch screens need repair. Fan not working in small bathroom. Don’t mean to nit pick but for the price being charged, the house should be in better shape.

You couldn't ask for a better location on Sullivan's. We had an ocean view and were close to the restaurants and shops. The house was charming and big enough for us to spread out. There were some stains on the carpets and the cushions on the screened in porch were shabby. However, none of this interfered with our enjoyment.

Our party of 3 couples had a wonderful two weeks at this property. Location is great - short walk to beach on the boardwalk and short walk to restaurants. I was a little concerned about noise from people on the boardwalk since we were there over Memorial Day weekend, but it wasn't a problem. We spent a lot of time on the back porch. The house was clean and well-equipped, and the layout was good for three couples. This is an older property and is due for some maintenance and updating, so if you're wanting sleek and modern, this is probably not what you're looking for. If you want a comfortable, old-style Sullivan's house, you'll enjoy it. There were a few maintenance issues when we checked in - light bulbs out, toaster and grill not working, two of the stove burners not working, and no ice-maker. I called Heather, and she came out less than two hours later to check everything out. She already knew about the stove burners and had emailed me prior to our arrival to let us know parts were ordered. Since it's a 5 burner cooktop, this was not a problem for us. Charles came out the next day and fixed all the issues and brought a new grill and toaster. The only thing that didn't get fixed was the ice-maker, which was sort of a bummer. Heather brought ice trays and offered to go get us bagged ice that night, but we were going to the store anyway, so that was taken care of. Heather is very accessible, friendly, and easy to deal with, and Charles was meticulous in his repairs and interesting to talk to, as a bonus! The house had great air conditioning, water pressure, and we never ran out of hot water. Since we have family locally who visited, we appreciated the abundance of parking and seating both inside and out. There were also beach chairs, beach toys, floats, and even a kite under the house. We enjoyed the house and would not hesitate to rent again. Thanks Heather for being a great host.

Property and location very nice. However immediately upon arrival you have to go shopping and get basic supplies like dish soap, dishwasher soap, kitchen sponge, soap and so forth. Very annoying when you are paying $1500/day!.

This house is great! Perfect location, relaxed vibe, and fabulous layout for our friends getaway. Excellent communication with Property Manager, Heather. We had a wonderful stay, and this laid-back cottage was a large part of the reason. Thank you for sharing this Sullivan's classic!

My family and I had a wonderful visit on Easter week at this location. It is on the beach beside a public boardwalk with wonderful beachfront views. The only reason I am not able to rate it 5 stars is that it does need a refresh.

Loved our time in this house on Sullivan’s Island - it housed our family of 7 very comfortably. Only two blocks to the Main Street/restaurants. Oceanfront. Loved the screened porch. My teenage son left his cell phone behind and the owner was kind enough to reach out and offer to send it to me.

Other than that, it was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. Affordable, large house with a great screened in porch, right on the path to the beach. The host communicated well and checkin/check out was easy.

Our group does an annual beach trip and for the first time stayed on Sullivan’s Island. The house was very spacious and the location was perfect. Heather was very responsive to our questions and requests.

We recently stayed here for a girls' weekend. The views are incredible, the house is clean and spacious, and the location couldn't be better. We were able to walk right to the beach and to all the restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this property and plan to return in the future! Also, one of us forgot our laptop at the house, and the property manager went above and beyond to return it. A very well run property!

Location, space, amenities were all above expectation. First time to Charleston for most of our group and this property had everything we were looking for and more. Convenient access to the beach, a short Uber to anywhere we wanted to go, and plenty of space in the house for our 10 person group. Highly recommend.
