This home was built to be enjoyed with comfortable contemporary furnishings, tasteful art, warm fireplaces, and cozy gathering places. In all seasons you'll be treated to an abundance of light from numerous skylights, large windows, French doors, and a beautiful sunroom. The open floor plan on the main floor is great for family and corporate gatherings. The master suite with it's gas fireplace, private deck over looking the park, vaulted ceilings, Bose surround sound system, and jetted bath tub for two, is perfect for the romantic getaway. Completed in 2008, you'll find its details stylish and contemporary, as well as timeless in quality--solid granite counter tops, stainless appliances, cast iron claw foot bath tub, marble steam room, real flagstone and VG Fir fireplace. This house is beautiful enough to look like a work of art, yet comfortable enough to feel like a home. This is a fully legal and permitted vacation rental: Short Term Rental Permit USE2022-0057. BEDROOMS: Master 1: 1 king bed, private bath w/jetted tub and walk-in shower, huge walk-in closet. Master 2: 1 king bed AND 1 futon , attached bath with huge marble steam room & body sprays (six shower heads!), walk-in closet. Bedroom 3: 1 King bed, shared bathroom with bedroom # 4, claw-foot tub, separate walk-in shower, walk-in closet. Bedroom 4: 1 queen bed, closet, shared bathroom with bedroom # 3. Additional sleeping areas: Sunroom: 1 fold-out sofa bed. Air mattresses: We offer two queen size quality air mattresses that can fit in the living room or bedrooms. Streaming options and cable on the two 4k tvs. Social gatherings with friends and loved ones are very welcomed here, just not out of control loud drunken parties.

This was our home base while in town for our daughter's wedding and it worked perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, there was plenty of bathroom space for everyone to get ready for the big event. Quiet setting next to the park.

Property was a nice place to stay not too far from downtown Bellingham with great access to the nearby park with a beautiful waterfall walk. The kids loved playing the piano and listening to music. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and the house fit our needs well. Great location near nature and a close drive to downtown. It’s worth noting that you don’t have garage access which we had not realized in advance. There’s also an additional attached unit with someone present which we didn’t know. It wasn’t a problem, just felt it should have been in listing. Overall, a good stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed this home for a daughter's wedding in Bellingham. It was the perfect size for my wife and I and a family of 6 with us. The beds were reasonably comfortable, and the supply cabinets were generous. The access to the park was perfect for a relaxing walk to Whatcom Falls. Thanks to the management!

We have stayed at this property three times in 7 years and we all have fond memories of the sunroom, backyard, access to walking trails, peaceful setting, and even the steam shower! Erik is a great host. Plenty of towels for our group and a well supplied kitchen make this a home away from home.

Big enough for our yearly guys' weekend activities of eating, drinking, and playing board games. Got to watch some deer munching on plants in the backyard. Close enough to the park for a nice long walk, and secluded enough that there wasn't any real outside noise to speak of. Short drive to downtown Bellingham and all the great things there as well.

The layout of the house was perfect. There were six of us ladies so we appreciated the three full bathrooms. The backyard is private and welcomes deer and black squirrels.
Erik was a great host and always quick to respond with any questions. The only concerns are the upstairs bedroom wasn't swept or vacuumed as there was hair and other dirt on the floor. Additionally, the interior of the home is in need of some fresh paint in certain areas and some tile repair. Overall, the house was a good rental for us though.

This house has everything you need. Was just there with friends from all over the country and all of us were impressed. Complete kitchen - and table seating for 8 inside or outside on the back deck area. Good outdoor grill. Roomy hot tub; lovely private back yard. A doe and her 2 fawns hung out for awhile one day. Four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One bathroom has a steam shower! There were 8 of us and the size of the house was appreciated. We were able to park 6 cars off-street, with room for another one. Highly recommend this house. Erik is great too - either answered my calls or called back quickly.

The house was perfect for our family visit for my son’s wedding! We had the grandparents with us and the access to Whatcom Falls big even trails allowed them to enjoy daily walks in the lovely park despite their limited mobility. House was well stocked with plenty of bath products, towels, and paper products plus a well stocked kitchen. Thanks for making the check in/out process so easy!

This large, lovely home was the base for family in town for a wedding at Lairmont Manner. Accommodated our group of 9 perfectly. We all loved exploring the trails out to Whatcom falls, hanging out in the sunroom, and gathering at the dining table for large breakfasts cooked in the excellent kitchen. Thanks!

We are a group of yogis who came to Bellingham for a yoga retreat. The house was perfect! There is a fabulous sunroom where we could sit and talk. Spacious accommodations and everything in good working order. Another great feature was the beautiful backyard with quick access to the spectacular park and grounds behind the home. We hope to come back next year and would love to rent this home again!

Enjoyed our stay at this house. Plenty of room for all of us, puzzles and games for our down time and the hot tub was fabulous. Appreciated the filtered water and loved the kitchen. We made very little garbage since we were able to cook our own meals. The house borders a park so there was some hiking trails we enjoyed too.
Checking in was simple. There is an apartment upstairs that is rented out and UPS delivered a package for that person. We left it on the steps but after a couple days we brought it inside. We didn't want to disturb the person, but we also didn't want the package to be taken.
Overall, a wonderful visit with family and I would definitely rent this place again.

This is the best property for a family vacation in the Bellingham area. The beds were very relaxing and pretty, plenty of room to gather in the living room, a reading "nook" that goes the length of the wall of the living room, which we utilized, two very large TVs, and an upstairs master suite to die for. Kitchen was amazingly well-stocked for a vacation home, complete with every spice imaginable. Plenty of pots and pans and dishes, along with a spotless refrigerator. The backyard and back patio area is lovely, like an English garden, and our family ate dinner out there almost every single night. The hot tub was utilized when temperatures cooled down a bit as well. The house is a very short walk to the falls, where you can sit by the waterfall and swimming hole and watch people get up their nerve to jump into the ice cold water below and maybe talk yourself into it! A mother deer and her baby visited us every night as well in the back yard (we did not feed them). A very short drive from all to see in Bellingham, and the host provides a book with detailed notes on local points of interest, yummy places to eat (we tried three from that list and they were all 5-stars!) and fun things to do. We were there in the summer time when things were lovely and given the house has two fireplaces, it's probably very cozy during winter as well. If we return to the area for another vacation, we will be renting this house! One note about Erik, the host: we realized that the washing machine was giving us an error message on Day 5 of our stay, so after trying to solve the problem ourselves we contacted him. He came over within 20 minutes of our message and when he realized he was unable to fix the machine, he went and bought a new one that day! Talk about a great host! The owners are also very environmentally conscious and encourage guests not to use single-use plastics and they recycle. So they have three different water filters for drinking. There is no reason at all to buy single-use plastics and more people should adopt that lifestyle. I cannot say enough amazing things about this neighborhood, this location, and this wonderful house. You will be thrilled to stay there.

We had a wonderful time staying at this clean, spacious property. It backs onto Whatcom Falls park and we were able to enjoy the outdoors every morning. This is our second time at this home and I highly recommend it! Of note for coffee drinkers who pack their own beans, they have a drip coffee machine so bring ground beans and coffee filters.

Perfect accommodations!!
We were in Bellingham for a family wedding. We were a group of 6 adults and the layout of the house couldn’t have been more perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and nicely spread out across the house. The bedsheets were of thick soft cotton, and the mattresses didn’t leave us in pain each morning. If you are the one in charge of booking the accommodations for your family, tell them for your trouble you will be taking the master suite on the first floor. The shower/steam shower for this bedroom is OFF-THE-CHARTS! The MODERN kitchen, large table, and family room with a huge comfy couch and large television were a perfect spot to visit, play cards and enjoy our time together. The kitchen has all the appliances you need, down to the coffee grinder. The house has a circular driveway that easily accommodated our 4 cars. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood adjacent to a beautiful park. If you are not familiar with Bellingham, you can get to the south end “Old Fairhaven” in 15 minutes, or to the north end by the airport in 15 minutes. You can use the city streets or jump on I-5 and get to both ends of town in about the same amount of time. The house was located perfectly for all the events we attended. The house is very close to a Haggen Grocery store. We hit a couple of Haggen stores during our visit, the one by the house, is the one to go to; IT HAD EVERYTHING!! The backyard is private and beautiful and would be a great place to hang out if it wasn’t raining. This is the kind of house that makes me want to leave our little slice and of heaven and travel a little bit more.

This is a great home!!! It is lovely and comfortable - we love, love, love the solarium and hot tub. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well provisioned We were in town to celebrate a 100th birthday and the host was kind enough to let us have a few extra family members gather there for an evening.
