Situated in Key West, this attractive house for $618 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Completed in 1992, this two bedroom two bath home was designed by a local architect for the relaxed Key West tropical lifestyle. Located on a quiet old town street only one block from Upper Duval Street and Truman Avenue, it offers off-street parking, easy walking/biking to Key West’s finest dining, shopping, attractions, and the beach at Fort Taylor State Park. The one and a half story living space has nine french doors opening onto a private courtyard with a solar-heated pool and spa. High ceilings with multiple skylights, pickled pine wooden walls, casual furniture and the colorful hues of the Caribbean create a space that is both soothing and stimulating. Both bedrooms have tile floors and double french doors opening onto the courtyard and reflect the island's maritime influence with built-in furniture and storage areas. Besides the spectacular indoor shower, there is a small private deck with an outdoor shower for the truly native experience. The site plan is similar to a courtyard home. The bedrooms are in a separate building from the living space. The pool and spa are totally private and you share no space with anyone. Maximum accommodation is six persons. There is a king size bed in the Master bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom and queen sofa bed in the living area. The living room and bedrooms have smart tvs. Payments, less credit card costs, are fully refundable with 30 days notice prior to day of scheduled check-in. Payments within 30 days are non-refundable, however, if you cancel your reservation within the 30-day period, you will receive a credit that can be applied to another stay within one year of the original reservation. We have stayed here a few times before and have always enjoyed it. Our last stay was quite a few years ago, and it was sad to see the effects of aging this time around. The patio chairs in the pictures appear to be the same ones they had the first time we were here and they are in bad shape. One of them is in front of the house because it has broken which doesn't bode well for a first impression when arriving. Quite a few of the deck boards are cracked in the middle. They are still safe to walk on, it was just the appearance. We love this property. It holds so many memories for us. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Perfect location for walking in Key West. Easy walks to the Harbor for fresh seafood, Truman White House, Hemingway House and very close to Duval Street. Daily trip to Cuban Coffee Queen in Key Lime Square was great. The house is really two houses with living room, bath and Kitchen on one side of the pool and spa, 2 bedrooms and bath on opposite side. Pool was awesome at 95 degrees! Great to have onsite laundry as well. 2 smart TVs was nice. Very quiet and private- only crowing roosters to wake you as everywhere in KW! Perfect for our needs on this trip.

Property is in a great location, just off Duvall street. Pool is great, except for the sawdust that blows in daily from construction next door. Very tight parking, even in the small driveway because of all the construction vehicles. We had a nice stay because of the location of the home.

Unfortunately, the pictures and price point do not accurately depict the condition & quality of this property.
We expected moderately comfortable accommodations in good condition, well-located for walking to Duval and surrounding sites. The location was very good, but the home was in dire need of maintenance, with several items impacting the quality & value of our stay.
Several bathroom fixtures were corroded, broken or missing entirely. The back door handles were not in good operational condition (and the sliding doors to the deck were all screwed shut, allowing only a single door for access). The grill was rusted through & uneven, with a broken handle & missing wheels. The decking in the pool area had significant structural rot, creating tripping hazards. The exterior doors to the bedrooms were missing seals entirely, leaving finger width gaps for mosquitos etc. Window units in the bedrooms were haphazardly installed, creating more visible gaps to the outside.
There were also several odd factors that impact the overall comfort and appeal of the property. Nearly a dozen cabinets, drawers, closets etc are locked/screwed shut with a "Owner's property" label. There's an inaccessible loft with a pile of junk visible from the living room. The living room doesnt have comfortable seating for 4 adults & needs two very loud window units running at full power to keep temps down. The hot tub is oddly activated by a "bike pump" sticking 6in out the deck.

The issue is the neighbors, construction crew building a home next door. They blocked the drive/street making exiting and entering the space very difficult. Construction crew was noisy all day but we stayed out so wasn’t really an issue unless we were trying to get a little rest midday. Again, not the fault of property or property owner but just the nature of Key West! Overall this home was beautiful and uniquely designed. We had a great time!!

This place is centrally located amongst all the action key west has to offer. My wife and I walked everywhere. The pool is a great place to cool off during the day or at night when you get home. The air was ice cold and the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the owner was a breeze. I will definitely be booking this location again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The set up of the house was great. The location was perfect. Just a short walk from Duval street but in a very quiet area.

Location was excellent with only a couple minutes to Duval St. When Duval St was party city this place was a haven of peace and quiet. Having our own pool and spa was great for relaxation. We had a few short requests from the Host and he was prompt and helpful. While there are a few outside repairs that would enhance the property we would certainly return for another visit.

This property was perfect for a long weekend spent with friends in Key West. We loved having the pool and hot tub at the house. I did have a couple of questions for the property owner but he was very quick to respond and help out. We would definitely stay again.

Visiting for the Key West Half-Marathon and chose this location for its access to Duval street and relative short walk to pretty much all the sightseeing snd shops. The host was very helpful and when walking was too much then there were plenty of scooter rentals or Uber/Lyft

We did enjoy our time in this house, it was in a quiet location but close to walk to everything. The house is dated but fun and comfortable. We weren't able to use the hot tub as we couldn't get the temperature to work. The host was very responsive at first, but it was never resolved. A bummer for such an expensive place in December. They were really great with flexible check-in and out timesOtherwise we loved the place and would consider staying again if there wasn't something else with the same location and amenities available.
