About this cottage rental
Nestled in Mount Shasta, this attractive cottage for $133 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Enjoy a quite neighborhood, just a couple of minutes from town on the way up to Mt Shasta, for a summit attempt or just take a nice walk from the Angel Cottage. You may open the french doors to a deck that has the full view to embrace the beauty of Mt. Shasta and a sauna for your use. Close by is two beautiful parks to choose from. One being the Head waters of the Sacramento River, the other is Shastice Park for tennis, picnic, ice skating, rollerblading, etc. Take a drive up the Mountain for its many options of joy or stay at home in the Angel Cottage and enjoy the Mountain from your own private deck or you can have a sauna and relax in the comforts of home in peace and harmony. The Cottage has a artists mural on all the walls, the feel of nature inside also with three angels beautifully woven in the scenery. Full kitchenette, mini fridge, toaster oven, three plug in burners, All you need for the comforts of home to cook a meal, or sit and watch the smart tv, netflix or youtube. A comfortable queen size bed, sleeper sofa and a nice bathroom with tube and shower. Pets are considered We live on the same property tho the Angel Cottage is private just the same.

Everything was great and the sauna was a plus. Picture in the add did not match the place we stayed in.

I loved my stay at the little cottage at Mount Shasta. Everything you could possibly need was there. The host were wonderful. I got a massage. Mary and Fred were very kind to make sure I had everything I needed. There was even extra little touches of things and the view was just beautiful. Thank you so much, Fred and Mary

The cottage was very comfortable and the weather was perfect. Our amazing view of Mt. Shasta from the deck varied every day, but was always gorgeous. We wished there were screens on some of the French doors, since the weather was beautiful and the cottage would get too warm in the afternoon and evening. We did use the fresh air fan on the air conditioner, which was okay.
Our hosts were very nice and very responsive to our questions and requests.
Some people have written that the location isn’t very private, but we didn’t see another soul during the five days we stayed. There was a dog that was left outside, barking, several times a day. At least it wasn’t too loud or late at night. The main house is quite close but is well screened by trees and shrubbery.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!

Hi Mary, I thoroughly enjoyed staying at your sweet cottage. You've arranged it so that it has everything one might need without seeming crowded...so that it's warm and welcoming. I especially loved the plates, and all the kitchen equipment, since I was cooking all my meals.
One item you might check into is a mildew smell in the bathroom. I kept the bathroom window open to reduce moisture, and also kept the bathroom door closed to minimize any mold spore intrusion into the main cottage. This might be something other people wouldn't notice; I'm particularly sensitive to mold, so wanted to bring it to your attention.

I loved staying here. The cottage is very nicely set up with everything that is needed. There is even a private sauna for guests to enjoy. The view of Mount Shasta is absolutely gorgeous and the house is located in a perfect neighborhood. They allow dogs, which was perfect!
The host was very responsive and kind. I got a massage right on the property, and they placed a beautiful bouquet of flowers on my porch! I would love to go back there again!

We stayed here for one night on our way south from Washington state. The property isn't too far off of the main freeway arteries. The directions to the house were very clear, the cabin itself is very well stocked with little amenities and the sauna was lovely! Thank you!

This little angel cottage was great! Had everything my pup and I needed and a GORGEOUS view of Mount Shasta. There is also a nice trail to walk around the neighborhood, with more gorgeous nature views. The hosts were very kind and helpful! If you are traveling with pups, it may be helpful to know that the yard is not fenced in and they do have a dog of their own on their property. Just a heads up in case you need to keep your dog leashed. The place is just a short drive into the sleepy mountain town - I grabbed some gluten free pizza from The Garden Tap for dinner and went to Yaks in the morning for coffee/breakfast. Both were just a short 5 minute drive from the place and were great! Super quiet area, friendly people, and overall very peaceful and relaxing.

Shasta view
Somehow we were surprised at the view - I suppose it was in the review, but we forgot. Whatever reason after a day of driving, we were intrigued with the narrow lane that lead to the cottage/cabin, and then when we saw the view it was a lovely surprise! And the cabin/cottage itself exceeded our expectations. First of all air conditioning at the end of a hot day was well appreciated (and it worked very well). The kitchen was well supplied, the bed comfortable, and the sofa too. It was private and peaceful. We didn't use the sauna, weather wasn't conducive to that! But the sauna, inside a charming wine vat, would be great for winter stays. Oh, and we loved the beautiful old wooden floors, gorgeous. The wall paintings were tastefully done. If you are an NBA player, you might have to sit sideways on the toilet, but we were okay. :

This is a great little place. It is quiet with magnificent views of Mt Shasta. It is also very comfortable and has some of the best tasting tap water ever. I could only stay for a day, but I could see myself returning for 3-4 days of relaxation in this very clean picturesque location.

Really awesome stay, took a short birthday trip with my partner. The only thing got me was the owners listed bikes as an amenity and I even confirmed that they were available. When we asked about them upon arrival we were told they weren’t available. It was just kind of... weird. We had been super excited to use them. But overall all good.

We spent one night at this nice little cottage. It is small but that is how mountain cottages are. Well equipped. The views and surroundings must be stunning. Unfortunately we could not enjoy them because of the smoke blanketing the area. Would very happily stay here again if in the area and clear skies are back. The only improvement I can think of is for the owner to provide a map with directions how to get to the property from the freeway. (She was very clear on how to get to the cabin once we reached the property). We had no problems thanks to the smart phone but I can imagine travelers who may have difficulties in this respect.

Very Cozy and Comfortable
We found this cottage charming and well equipped. We were able to relax with our dog and enjoy some peace and quiet. The walls are painted with angels and trees and the outside deck was great.

Mary & Fred have a charming property with a great view of Mount Shasta. Everything was excellent...except the mushy bed mattress. One side was ok the other side was worn out- mushy and needs replacement.

Property was better than advertised. Cleanliness and supplies perfect. Environmental cleanliness wonderful except for us propane heat could not be used. Hosts supplied electric and all was perfect.

The place was exactly as described and the hosts were very responsive. It's in a beautiful little neighborhood in the foothills of Mt. Shasta. Loved the stay and will be back again!
