Tish has thought of it all with the Blue Wave! The house had all the standard amenities plus more which made it so easy to enjoy the vacation time (looking at you - extra trash bags, cooking spray, and parchment paper!)! The house is gorgeous and spacious. The location is fantastic both for the beach proximity and the restaurants and stores on the island. Definitely coming back! Thanks Tish!

We had such a wonderful week at the Blue Wave. The views from the deck are incredible. The blue wave was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.I have been to SGI 20+ times and stayed in various homes on the island. This was my favorite due to the close proximity to the beach, open layout, updated kitchen and dipping pool. Highly recommend this home!

The house is perfectly located on the island and feels beachfront. The home is clean, well decorated and spacious enough for our family of 5! They had everything we needed for our stay! The outdoor shower makes it convenient for getting the sand off your feet! We even enjoyed the pool and outdoor grill for a few hours before heading back to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. I had to reach out to the property owner regarding the smoke alarm. She was quick to respond, kind, and understanding. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Visited with family and had a wonderful time! The property was clean, updated, well stocked with everything we needed for a beach getaway. Location was amazing, short 1 minute walk to the beach, walking distance to the restaurants on the island. Definitely recommend this property!

The house was clean and in a great location. The outdoor shower was great to wash off the sand before going through the house or into the pool. The kitchen had all the utensils/pots/pans that we needed to cook meals. We had a small issue with the A/C but it was promptly addressed. The only thing that could have made this property better is if there were common beach items that came with the rental (chairs, sand toys, etc.). Overall we had a great visit and really enjoyed this property!

The house is exactly as advertised and even more. It exceeded our expectation. The location was just perfect, we had an unobstructed view of the gulf. The house was clean and had all the necessities provided. Abundant natural lighting, tastefully decorated, very well maintained and updated. Short walk to The Blue Parrot, a great restaurant recommended by Tish (thank you!) and a 5-min drive to Piggly Wiggly. This was our first time in St George Island and we truly felt we got the Old Florida town feel. Everyone we encountered were so nice and friendly. Communication with Tish was great and she responded very quickly to any questions we had. Check in and check out were a breeze. We will definitely be coming back. As a matter of fact, I’ve already booked for same weekend next year!

We really enjoyed this place. The location is great and the view is awesome. It's right across the street from the beach but there is nothing on the other side obstructing your view of the Gulf. I spent a lot of time on the front deck just sitting and looking at the water. The house has very recently been completely renovated inside and is beautiful. If you are going to St George Island, and you're reading this review, take my advice. Don't look any further and just go ahead and book this property.

We stayed at Blue Wave with my parents and my two small children. It was wonderful. Right across the street from the beach with unobstructed views of the ocean. This house was particularly great for my 2 year old because it was all one floor, the doors all had deadbolts, the pool was locked and fenced in, and the deck had a lockable gate. All of that made us feel safe with our 2 year old running around. The lack of a tub made it tough for bath time with the two little ones, but we made it work. We also liked how close it is to all the action in the middle of the island, especially Blue Parrot. Overall I would definitely recommend this property to a group of 4-6 people. Great open floor plan with views of the beach. Tish was also easy to reach and responsive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The views are beautiful, short walk to beach (closest is sand and just down street is boardwalk). Loved the open concept kitchen, dining & living rooms with again great views! Enjoyed pool as refreshing relaxation after being at beach as too small to swim, also had a very nice outdoor shower. Only downside was stairs up to house as we were all over 70 and some slight mobility issues (knees, back) so we had good workout & tried to limit number of times up & down, in & out) 😀

I don’t really want everyone to know about this house because it’s the best location I’ve stayed at on the island. It’s so close to the ocean without ocean front pricing, and it seemed to be the only house around with a pool. It’s one level which I prefer. It doesn’t have a bathtub so mind that if you have kids. And the decor was tasteful- not beach gaudy like most houses. Comfortable couches. The view from the deck feels like you are right there at the water. Spacious parking spots to unload easily. The floors were pretty dirty for some reason- seemed out of place because everything else was pretty clean for a beach house. The weather was really windy for us, but I think even if it wasn’t mosquitoes wouldn’t have been a problem because it’s so close to the windy ocean. I didn’t get any bites. We normally get a screened in pool because bugs can be so bad, but this place was totally fine.

We had a great time. Our visit was in April and it was warm during the day. The pool was small but our four kids had a great time nonetheless. The house is super clean and nice and the views are spectacular. Thank you!
