Elsford contained everything! Was a very convenient location, clean and the bed very comfortable. Gilly had extra snacks, drinks, flowers, and was a great host. :)

It was the perfect place for my husband and me! Beautiful views, great location and gracious host! I highly recommend it for one or two people.

First off, thank you again Gilly for the best experience anyone could ask for…..it was PERFECT! This VRBO is the reason you should VRBO. Gilly is a superb host who defines going above and beyond for her guests….she actually makes you feel like family! The Elsford Cottage is beautiful inside with amazing attention to detail, and fully stocked with everything you would need. On top of that, Gilly added her own touches to make the experience that much more exceptional. I was beyond impressed! I hated to leave. Will definitely be back. Great house, great location and a great host.

My title says it all. Our host Gilly has a cute home that is clean and fully stocked and ready for guests. She goes over and above to make guests feel welcome. Had wine and beer, bread and candy waiting for us. Personally written note when we walked in welcoming us. Instructions on the house and many, many other amenities….too many to mention in the limited characters I have available here. Don’t pass this property us. Worth your stay.

We stayed at the Elsford Cottage for 4 days and absolutely enjoyed our stay. It’s location was perfect for everything we were hoping to do in the Colorado Springs area and Gilly was an absolute dream and so sweet and accommodating. We will be back hopefully sooner than later and 100% recommend staying at the Elsford Cottage.

We loved the Elsford cottage. It was immaculate, well stocked, nicely decorated and a great location. The owner was lovely and very helpful. No stone was left uncovered from nightlights throughout, games, a bottle of wine in the frig and so much more. We loved our stay!

Gilly is a wonderful owner who meets her guests and checks to make sure all is well. She is the best with fresh flowers & welcome gifts (wine, eggs, fruit, crackers, bread, snacks, popsicles, plenty of bathroom supplies, etc.). Beautiful yard and super clean house. Other places pale in comparison. Our fur baby Iris wasn't left out either. She got treats she loved and towels for wet feet. Gilley even checked on us while on her vacation! Will be back again for sure as you are the best.

This property is in a great location with a ton of things to do within a short drive. Gilly was a great host and made the place so much more homey than other VRBO we have stayed at.

We chose Elsfords Cottage for our 20th anniversary trip to Colorado Springs. We could not have made a better choice! The cozy cottage was close to the action but tucked away just far enough to be peaceful. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The Elsford Cottage is everything and more! Gilly went above and beyond to make our first visit to Colorado perfect! She left fresh flowers, fresh bread, several fresh items in the fridge and even treats for our dogs! The cottage has everything you will need to feel right at home. The location of the cottage is perfect- so close to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, downtown Colorado Springs and so much more. Not only are you close to all those attractions, but you also get a great view of the mountains and Pikes Peak- the pictures don't fully show how incredible the views are. There is also a fully fenced in backyard which was great for letting our dogs out. Thank you Gilly for creating such a wonderful property and for sharing it with us! This truly is a 5 star place to stay.

We researched places near Colorado Springs and saw the amazing reviews for Gilly’s place. The reviews are all true - and then some! We arrived a bit early because we couldn’t get another flight and she let us put our luggage safely inside until the cleaning finished. We walked in to find fresh flowers, wine, extra snacks and the most wonderful place you could stay in full view of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The place was immaculately clean, had everything we needed and was a great place to unwind after our adventures. Our host Gilly is a wonderful British import who greeted us, talked to us about things to do etc, and generally made our stay an amazing one. This is the place you want to be and if we ever come back, we will stay right here again.

My husband and I were traveling to Colorado Springs for the first time and this was truly the perfect place we could have booked. Gilly is such a kind and hospitable host - she spoiled us with so many treats, wine, multiple bouquets of fresh flowers and a pristine mountain cottage. When booking, I almost thought all the 5 star reviews and comments were too good to be true - every VRBO I’ve stayed in has had something that wasn’t quite up to par. This cottage is the exception! Just perfect. So clean, upgraded, had everything we needed and more. And Gilly is a bonus - she is just the sweetest, wittiest and kindest host. We enjoyed visiting with her throughout the week and getting to hear her story, get recommendations and share pictures of our pups who we had to leave back home in Texas. This was the best trip we could have asked for and I’m so thankful we came across Gilly’s place. Just book it! You won’t regret it ◡̈

The host was certainly great at making sure that we felt welcome and comfortable in her cottage. We had everything we needed to feel at home. The location was ideal-only a couple of miles away from all of the sites and beautiful scenery that the area offers. If we are ever in Colorado Springs again-we’ll be back!

If we could give Gilly and her property 10 stars we would! The house is exactly as pictured, incredibly clean and having all the thoughtful extras mentioned in other reviews. The bed was so comfortable and we felt pampered with the comfy blankets, pillows and soft towels. We also really appreciated the central location. While off the beaten path, the house has quick and easy access to many local attractions. We loved popping over to shop in Old Colorado City and took many breathtaking hikes. Gilly made us feel so welcome, it felt like staying with a dear friend. We have been raving about our experience since we left and look forward to coming back to visit the cottage again very soon!

An absolutely darling cottage with carefully thought out amenities. I'm just a CoSprings local that needed a place to land for a few nights before a long road trip -- this place was so comfortable for my daughter and I and our three pets, I considered staying longer! *(If you stay with a cat, check ALL the hiding spaces under the cabinets in the kitchen) Gilly is a gem of a host, providing more than just a zen space, but guidance on ANYTHING you need! 10 stars!!!

If you've been to Gilly's, you'll never go anywhere else. If you haven't, put it on your bucket list. This is a cozy, quaint, beautiful location, hosted by a true hero host. Will absolutely be back. So happy to have had this experience!

We enjoyed the cleanliness, hospitality and thoughtfulness about little details that made our stay very enjoyable and relaxing. Will be excited to book this cozy cottage again. The location offered ease of access to Manitou and Old Colorado City as well as downtown Colorado Springs but also felt off the beaten path enough for privacy.

Our stay in this property was wonderful. We were greeted by our hostess who was a sweetheart. We were provided with every amenitie you could think of and then some. There was fresh bread, wine, cheese, chips, salsa and other kitchen staples left for our use. The property was fenced so our fur babies could enjoy the back yard. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Will definitely be going back to stay.

This a great place to stay. Two nights we had deer in the back yard. Close to shopping and many places to eat. We visited the Royal Gorge, traveled Phantom Canyon scenic bypass, shopped in Manitou and hiked a bit.

Gilly is a wonderful host she adds all the little things you might not think of snacks coffee bread cheese etc this house is a very quiet place to relax and centrally located Gilly is a wonderful person who we love to visit we will be back

Gilly was, by far, the hostess of the mostest! Sooo many personal touches (e.g. fresh flowers, snacks, food, drinks, etc.). we had our EBikes, and did a fair amount of biking & hiking. it was also very clean, which my husband & I are both fussy about. See you again if we head that way Gilly!
