Located on 5 acres of lovely wooded land, surrounded by Acadia National Park property, Acadia Yurts offer a peaceful retreat for your group (up to 4 guests per 24' Yurt, 6 guests for the 30' Yurt or 2 guests per Tiny House). Acadia Yurts is also ideal for large groups traveling with accommodations for up to 34 people on 1 site. In addition to yurt or tiny house living, the Wellness Center at Acadia Yurts offers on-site yoga, an infrared sauna and a flotation tank, all available for extra charge. My partner and I stayed in the Beehive tiny house for 3 nights. We found it comfortable, clean and convenient. The neighborhood is adorable.

We had an awesome time staying here. The tiny house was clean, comfy, and had plenty of room for us (2 adults). We also got to take advantage of some of the offerings at the wellness center, which I would highly recommend!

The tiny house was a perfect base for my first visit to Acadia national Park. A great location with so many options for hiking and food nearby. As well as a visit to Bar Harbor. Karen and Aaron were terrific hosts, and the house had everything that we needed. Hope to be back soon.

Property was exactly as described and very clean. Felt secluded and close to nature. Quiet at night, but still close to the park and some good restaurants. I loved the red barn with items that people could share and laundry on site. Owners were easy to reach and made sure we had what we needed to be comfortable.

Our stay was out of this world! The beehive home is more than we expected! Everything we could have possibly needed was on site! A cozy home away from home! Very clean, GREAT location & very cozy! We can not wait to come back!! We just left and we miss it already!

The setting is beautiful, the tiny houses are smartly designed and outfitted with everything you would need. The outdoor grill and picnic tables were so convenient. We love the eco-friendly focus of the owners. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

The property was clean and well kept. Southwest Harbor is a perfect town to base Acadia National Park explorations from. There were plenty of nearby amenities for us.

The property is beautiful and the tiny house was perfect for our stay! We booked both tiny houses for 4 friends on a trip to Maine to visit the Acadia National Park. The hosts were great with communication. There is a wellness center for activities (we didn't use, but loved that it was an option), a communal fire pit (we had a bonfire for 2 nights & met other travellers), and a community barn/shack for supplies (we made use of stuff in there and contributed to it too). The tiny house was equipped with all the amenities we would need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again, perhaps in a yurt on our next visit!

Perfect relaxing short vacation for us on our 25th Anniversary. Nice and quiet side of Acadia park. 5-minute drive to Echo Lake and Canada cliff trails. Our Tiny house was perfect for us, super clean and perfect size for the both of us. The grounds are kept well maintained and they even have a cute little laundry barn on site. We highly recommend staying here,

Perfect size tiny house for my wife, 1yr old daughter, and I. Most of the park is on the east side of the island, so that part was hard as days went on for our daughter to sit in the car foe the 30 min, give or take where we were going, but there was an amazing coffee place close by and the drive with the colors was perfect. Came with everything we needed, no microwave but that was fine with us. Internet was spotty and would go in and out when watching things but only for a second or two. Wish the code for the house was more complex as our guess was everyone's code was simple too, just made us a little nervous leaving all day. Either way, would come back again and make the trip from Michigan

I stayed in one of the tiny houses at Acadia Yurts. The location was perfect- it was off the beaten track but very accessible for biking, hiking and enjoying Acadia. The hosts were easy to contact with questions and quick to respond. I can't wait to go back and stay in a yurt.

My husband and I absolutely loved our tiny house! It was the perfect size and location - just far enough away from the business of Bar Harbor, but close enough to restaurants, trails, etc. We highly recommend staying at Acadia Yurts!

Welcoming and peaceful
My partner and I were very happy to spend our getaway here. Such a beautiful space they have created, close to town yet quiet. All communication was very clear (and kind, when I had missed details that were sent ahead of time 😊) I loved the wellness center! We plan to return.

We just got back from a wonderful few days at the Beehive tiny house at Acadia Yurts. The property is absolutely beautiful. So well maintained and there is such attention to detail. You can tell that the owners take pride in what they do. The house was spotless and everything was in excellent condition (shower, stove, etc.). I am very wary-even anxious at times-of staying at accommodations that I am unfamiliar with. I felt completely at ease upon arrival and during our entire stay. It is so easy to book, arrive and check out there. The owners got in touch with us the second day that we were there just to see that we had everything that we needed and that all was well. Otherwise, we had total privacy. Southwest Harbor is a nice little area and Bar Harbor is not far off. Some of the greatest hikes we've done in Acadia were less than a 10 minute drive from Acadia Yurts. We sincerely cannot recommend this place highly enough. This is a spot that we would happily return to year after year.
