Upscale Vintage Cabin with Huge Sunny Deck nestled in the Redwoods
About this houserental
Situated in Russian River, this lovely house for $416 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Note: If reservations are made but we are not able to rent the house due to county restrictions, we are offering a 50% refund plus cleaning and pet fees and keeping 50% as a credit towards a future stay. Cleaning during COVID19 - We always took our cleaning seriously but we are taking care to use EPA approved cleaning solutions and cleaning all hard surfaces, light switches and points of contact. Magazines are going to be removed and all bedding will be washed between guest. We want you to have a good time and keep you and your family safe. Located along the Russian River between Guerneville and Healdsberg, this home will allow you to get away from it all while being close to all the things you want to do. Walking distance to Mother's Beach. Just about two miles from the nearest wineries and a short drive to Healdsberg or Guerneville. With two bedrooms and baths the home is ideal for two couples but will sleep 6 comfortably, 4 in two queen sized beds and 2 on a fold out air mattress sofa or 2 in a daybed with trundle located in the master. We are limited by the county to 6 guest. There is a gourmet kitchen with electric appliances including a dishwasher that is well stocked enough you can cook Thanksgiving dinner. We have a 6 person hot tub on the deck under the redwoods and stars at night. Internet/Wifi is strong and was clocked at 258Mbs with Mesh Router that reaches the far ends of the deck. When reserving the property, please let me know something about your group and why you are visiting the area. Please note there is a small owners unit on site below the house you are staying in and it is occupied at the will of the owner, has a completely separate entrance and will not intrude upon your experience or privacy above. Also there is no central air conditioning but nights are usually cool and we do provide fans. We do have a Nest Cam that covers the parking area TOT#1460N

We spent Christmas with our daughter and her boy friend. This house was perfect for us. The house has been well loved, had everything we needed, and really grew (well) on us. You can tell the owners know how to take care of a house and how to have fun. The location was perfect for wine tasting and amazing hiking. The house is located up a mountain side and the neighborhood is strewn with cars and garbage cans all out on the street which is a little beat up. We arrived after dark and were a bit skeptical but in the light of day, it was only because the terrain is so vertical. The houses in the neighborhood are all well taken care of and it was very quiet, sitting in the hot tub, looking up at the redwoods, drinking fabulous wines, and getting to know a great young couple. Would come back in a minute.

Stayed 3 nights at the property. The house was very clean, easy to find, easy check-in, and great communication with host. Property had all the amenities we wanted and a gas fireplace that worked wonders during a cold rainy weekend. Property also felt secluded from neighbors. Would highly recommend property and host.

The pictures had me thinking there were no other houses around which is not the case, but it still felt like it was in the woods. Seemed like lots of rules for the house which tends to make me less relaxed but the place really invites a calm. Clean house, well furnished and stocked. Cozy!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hacienda was very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. An evening in the hot tub after a day at wineries was great! The location is very convenient for numerous wineries, restaurants and bars. Make sure you get there before dark on your first night so you can get the lay of the land.

Such a lovely cabin nestled in the redwoods. My husband and I and his brother and wife loved our peaceful stay here over the weekend. The communication with the owner was the best experience that i have ever had with a rental. So kind and very prompt to reply. I appreciate that so much. Would love to come back again. Location is great for visiting great wineries and restaurants in the area.

Hanging out in a redwood grove on a large deck with hammocks, seating, and a hot tub? It doesn't get much better. The place was a delight.
Our host was wonderful too. One of the members of our party left a valuable behind and they reached out to us about it right away. I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time at the cabin. It is so beautiful and relaxing. They built the deck around the redwoods! The cabin is cozy, welcoming and fully stocked. It is quite close to amazing restaurants even though you feel you are very far away. Our dog had so much fun being able to be with us outside on the deck and in the yard. She was soooo happy!
There was a small issue at the house and Brett was able to get somebody to come out on a Sunday, over the July 4th holiday weekend to fix it! Amazing! The response and fix was so fast we were blown away!

First impression from the gate, how sweet and quaint, rustic wood smell hits you once through the door. Smaller than the pictures, cameras do that. Kitchen was large, fairly clean. Disappointing that I couldn’t use the coffee maker due to the white buildup on the lid. I had tea instead, nice bathrooms. Deck was cool, we did need to literally scrape off stuff from the glass table top, and the floor of the deck was very strewn with tree debris. It was a windy day but seemed like it hadn’t been swept in a while. Hammocks were too dirty to try. But we had nice evenings, lit the fire, hot tub could’ve used a scrub but we enjoyed it none the less, just overall felt it was too expensive for what it was. The reviews seemed very positive and I’m sad that mine isn’t the best, when you pay that much, I feel a little more is expected.

What a delightful get away! Hacienda has an upscale rustic feel, just right for our hiking vacation. It is even nicer than the online photos show. The hot tub made the perfect ending to a day of hiking and good company. Many local restaurants and lots of places to hike. The location is convenient to mountains with redwoods, ocean and wine tasting. Brett responded immediately to our pre-visit questions. Lots of other local activities including a fun parade in Forestville and live music overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I recommend checking out the local activities and music in advance so you are prepared to enjoy all of it. Or you might want to just stay at Hacienda to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Our family commented that this was one of the nicest vacation homes they had ever had on vacation. I would agree. We will definitely return for another stay in the future.

We relax but just a little problem. The barking dog close by early in the morning and afternoon. This dog wants everyone to hear them. It was hard to locate because where we were located. And then a few folks working on the their projects which came loud noise and beautiful music. So between the barking dog and construction not so peaceful. If you (the owner) have not stayed here in awhile maybe you will hear what I am talking about.

Brett's place was a beautiful home base for a weekend with my partner, my dad, and his wife. Perfect size for two couples.
Favorite aspects: Awesome deck with hot tub, grill, comfy chairs, and huge redwoods. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean and updated. Overall setting is chill and relaxed. Only a few minute walk up the hill from the river, and an easy drive to Sonoma wineries.
Overall, exactly as described in the listing. Would happily return for a future trip!

We had a wonderful stay at this house in the Redwoods. Great communication from the owners. The location is perfect to explore areas in the Russian River area. We loved the awesome deck and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. Overall we really enjoyed staying here.

Quiet cabin centrally located in a forested area in the beautiful Sonoma wine country. Minor issue with the hot tub but the owner responded quickly to help address the problem. This cabin was the most well stocked home we have ever experienced. Recommend this home to anyone considering a stay in the area.

This cabin was a dream come true for our family vacation! We enjoyed 5 days of serene beauty, both during a crazy rain storm, and during beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Everything was exactly as described and better! The only thing we had to learn the hard way to turn on the convection for the oven - without convection turned on, it didn't maintain the appropriate temp. Once we turned on convection it was fine. The views were amazing and the wet soil, redwoods and pines gave an aroma I wish we could bottle. We felt a million miles away from it all, but were only 2 1/2 hours from home. Thank you, Brett, for an amazing week of family memories!
