The house is perfectly suited for family and friend entertaining, thanks to its massive 1,000 sq ft deck, an oceanfront jacuzzi, an al fresco dining area with a BBQ grill and an oceanfront lounge area with a fire table. Indoors, the living area has a true open concept design where the kitchen, bar island and main living space are perfectly connected so everyone can enjoy time together. There is also a more private space off the main living area for a glass of wine and a good book. The home offers a growing collection of books for all ages to enjoy, as well as several family games. We also provide surf and boogie boards, as well as sand and deck toys for the kids. For families with toddlers, we provide a pack and play and also yoga mats for kids of all ages. We stayed at this property for my birthday and could not have been happier. The house is great and has everything you could want. My kids were in heaven. The beach is gorgeous and private. Incredible views of the ocean from the master and other bedrooms. The only thing to be careful is all the stairs to the house and beach are narrow and steep. Fine for us, a bit hard on our new toddler walker! But we still got him to the beach every day and he ran in bliss. Would love to come back all the time!

We can’t thank the owner of this property enough for sharing this gem of a beach house in Malibu. It was the perfect gathering for my family and friends. The views are breathtaking and the house has everything you’d need to enjoy the beach and waves. The property manager is on top of everything and just a quick text away. Can’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful and memorable vacation in Malibu. The property is beautiful, and our group of 6 (and dogs) was able to spread out and use every inch. Truly cannot beat the spectacular ocean views from almost every room. Those in our group who were working remotely had Wi-Fi access and breathtaking backdrops. Sitting on the beach steps during high tide is mesmerizing! Additionally, Sebastian was wonderful to work with and Laurie is very accommodating. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful property with access to the beach, an amazing terrace with multiple seating arrangements including a table/chairs, couch around a fire pit, and lounge chairs. The property manager is the best we’ve ever had! Sebastian was available and made sure had the best stay! We plan to come back!

This property is as described. It's location with easy access off the deck to a clean non-public beach was outstanding. The location was fully equipped and all worked well. Sebastian was very good in receiving us and explaining how things worked. Highly recommend.

This is a great property! Sebastian was easy to work with and I took advantage of his concierge service regarding a chef and massage therapist. Total treat to have these options. There is a bit of wear and tear on the inside(thus the price point) but the outdoor living space completely makes up for this. The beach is a wet beach but we were able to walk anytime of the day! And the people are so friendly. Everyone is out first thing in the morning walking their furry family members. Highly recommend this property!!

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and the house is better than advertised! While the interior is fantastic, the deck and beach are what made this a magical long weekend for us. My kids loved hanging out on the deck and playing on the beach with our dogs.
Sebastian makes the entire process turnkey and he and Laurie have clearly thought of everything in advance. When a question did come up, Sebastian was immediately accessible and responsive. A huge THANK YOU to Laurie and Sebastian for welcoming us to this special home where we created lasting family memories. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic house with a large deck leading directly onto a sandy beach which is relatively uncrowded. The public spaces are nice, the kitchen is particularly nice. There is one very nice master suite, the rest of the bedrooms are fine but lack en-suite bathrooms. The property manager is fantastic, helpful, always available, great guy.

We had a wonderful stay here at the Beach at Malibu. The views from the kitchen, bedrooms and expansive decks were amazing. We enjoyed having meals and listening to music out on the deck. My 15-yr old son loved having the guest house apartment to himself. Beach access was perfect in the afternoons when the tide was out. We enjoyed the beach accessories provided, played spike ball, took long walks, and did some tide-pooling around the rocks which was fun. Sunsets were spectacular!
Sebastian was very responsive and accommodating. He worked with us for a late check-in at 9:00pm. We didn't even take advantage of all the extra services made available to us.
We'll be back again in the future!

We had a wonderful weekend- the house location is on the ocean and fabulous location. - the only request/suggestion- cleaning the carpet on the stairs- host was fabulous and all suggestions on private chef and in home massage therapist were perfect! The home is even better than the pictures! The smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves, and the warmth of the sun sitting on that magnificent deck was incredibly relaxing. Sebastian was wonderful. I highly recommend this property!

This Malibu gem was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous home, well-appointed, comfortable beds, great WiFi (for those moments you have to pull yourself away from the view and work!) and incredible views. You feel totally immersed in the ocean. The huge deck is perfect for parties, dinner, yoga and relaxing. It's not just the house, though, but the service by the property manager, Sebastian, that made it great. He helped us arrange grocery delivery, find a private chef, book massages on the deck, he suggested restaurants and was super accommodating. We usually travel with Inspirato and having Sebastian was like having a personal concierge. We would definitely stay again. One important note: This house is literally on the water and is great for feeling close to the ocean, watching the waves and playing in the waves when it's not too rough. But it is rocky (bring some kind of water shoes) and if you want a beach, there are lots a short drive away. This is not a beach house for young children. The rails are not spaced closely enough to be safe and the water is too close. Otherwise it's DREAMY! Can't wait to book it again!

This property is super cute and sized perfectly for our family of 4. It's right on the water and 5 minutes from Malibu restaurants and shopping. The property manager is incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a great week. We'll be back and I definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing property in Malibu. It is right on the ocean and equipped with all the amenities you could want. Sebastian, the property manager was a pleasure to deal with! Before we even arrived, he communicated with us to let us know about an issue that was being taken care of before we arrived. At check-in time, he met us at the house to give a tour and show us everything we needed to know to make our stay perfect. He was extremely responsive to any questions we had during our week stay, anything from restaurant suggestions to questions about the house. Highly recommend this beautiful house to anyone looking for a beach getaway. It is easy to see why Sebastian has such glowing reviews on VRBO.

The beach was washed away by the ocean. Workmen and had to use a ladder to get down to the beach for the first couple of days. It's a nice house. We have stayed hear before. Don't know if the beach will get replenished somehow.

Great views and deck; Sebastian is a super host, and the house is really laid out well for entertaining and a great beach week. Lisa the chef and Jacob the masseur were big hits. As add ons. Location was a big plus - near Nobu and LBH. Sonos surround was easy and awesome in all rooms. Smart TVs great for kids. Opportunities: beach is really not walkable in July (tides) so careful on pets; glass railing would really open up the view vs traditional wood, hot tub needs replacing with something more substantial, updated cushions and pillows outdoors would make it wonderful, and some extra beach toys (paddle boards) wouod kaoe the dolphins and sea otters more accessible! We really enjoyed it.

What a lovely place to stay in Malibu! Very convenient location - between Moonshadows and Dukes. Perfect for our group: my wife and I, our 2 and 5 year old daughters, her mom and my teenage nephews.
The teens loved having their own separate space in the “studio” that had its own refrigerator, shower, TV sitting area and king bed. The deck is perfect for enjoying the beach. The house is very much as advertised and fully equipped for a fun stay on the beach.
Sebastian was a terrific host that made us feel at home and was available to answer any questions that came up. We can’t wait to come back!

The sound of the waves and the perfect sandy beach was front and center. It is a charming house, well-stocked and with comfy beds and linens. They have thought of everything. Sebastian was amazing to work with, knowledgeable and super responsive.

I rented this property for my husband's 60th birthday since we couldn't have a party due to Covid. Best decision ever! Perfect location. The house was better than the pictures. Sebastian responded immediately the times we had questions and his referrals for a private dinner with Chef Lisa and Jacob made the experience amazing. We definitely will be going back.

It’s been over a year that grandma was able to see her grandchildren and I can’t think of a better spot for the reunion. The entire family had a wonderful experience. The house itself is really special and perfect for the family. We hosted 5 adults and 3 teens. Everyone met on the deck for all meals and enjoyed eating literally on the beach. When we did venture out, there are many options for meals, shopping, and other activities. Our host is incredible...very helpful, attentive and quick to respond. I highly recommend this home and will definitely be bringing the family back.

Can't say enough good things about this property. Very large home with lots of space to spread out and relax. Fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. Ocean views from all over the house. The highlight of course was the enormous deck where we spent most of our time, relaxing, drinking Rose and taking in the insane views. Ate all our meals right on the deck. Took some walks along the beach and I was able to surf right out front (it's essentially a private beach as there is no public access so I had the waves all to myself). Host was easy to deal with and very responsive. Cannot wait to return again, my only regret was I couldn't stay for longer. Thank you again for an awesome trip. I'll be back.

We had the BEST TIME EVER!!! Everything was PERFECT!! Such a heavenly vacation!! Tara, the house manager is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING with her communication and organizing!!! She made sure everything was perfect for when we arrived!! The location is perfect - short drive to most everything you need. We were able to take walks at low tide on the beach! We saw lots of dolphins while we were sitting in the hot tub on the deck! Tara helped me organize a chef to come make us dinner and we sat on the deck watching the sunset and listening to the waves - it was magical! I can't wait to go back!! Thank you!!!

We had a truly memorable stay in Malibu with friends for a long weekend. The property is exactly as the pictures show... better really because pictures don't do the view justice. The listing accurately describes the rocky beach and tides. We were able to take walks and go swimming at low tide and at high tide enjoy the sounds of the waves lapping under the deck. We saw dolphins and seals throughout the day and had awesome sunset and sunrise views. The location is convenient for restaurants and shopping. Pretty much a perfect weekend all around.

Tara was great from the start even allowing us to check in early... we had a few teething problems , which were dealt with and didn’t impact too much on our time. Grateful for the time and memories made with my kids and my folks. One thing to mention- we could not walk on the beach , as the tide was always too strong and high.
