Nestled in Colorado Springs, this attractive cottage for $159 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Relax and renew in this super charming one bedroom cottage in the heart of Cheyenne Cañon. Located directly across the street from the trailhead to Stratton Open Space and hundreds of miles of popular hiking and mountain biking trails, this quiet 550 square foot cottage offers the comforts of a luxury hotel with the privacy and conveniences of home. Hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and lots of windows bring a warmth and coziness to this Cañon getaway. Enjoy an easy one block stroll to the neighborhood coffee shop or walk just a few blocks to the famed Broadmoor Hotel or Seven Falls. Stay at home to create meals in the fully equipped kitchen, including a chef's stainless gas range and vent hood, quartz countertops, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and all of the basic necessities! A selection of complimentary coffee and teas are provided. Dine in a separate dining nook with access to a full selection of plates, bowls, flat wear and glass wear (including wine glasses). A separate bedroom with a queen bed, luxury linens and a large closet is adjacent to the living room. The bright living room offers a fantastic view of the mountains and Will Rogers Shrine and the opportunity to see abundant wildlife, including deer, fox, interesting birds (and yes, an occasional bear!) A flat screen TV with Blu Ray and iPhone/CD player is hidden behind the armoire along with books, puzzles and cd's. Wifi is available. The spa-like bathroom has a new clawfoot tub, radiant floor heat and is stocked with luxurious towels, a hairdryer, high quality soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. An apartment size washer/dryer, detergents, iron and board are available in the unit. The cottage is located in the rear of the property, so parking is off-street, quiet and safe. We are "on-property" owners. We clean our cottages with the absolute highest level of care and cleanliness. We take our current pandemic seriously and strive to provide an incredibly safe and relaxing environment for our guests. A Little History: Bella Cottage was built in 1922 as a 'mother-in-law' cottage. The cottage is named in honor of a woman who lived in the home located directly in front of the cottage when it was built in 1910. Bella, a widow and dressmaker at Hibbard's Department Store in downtown Colorado Springs, was one of the Cañon's first residents. Cheyenne Cañon was a summer getaway for wealthy residents of Colorado Springs at the turn of the century. Concerts were held every Sunday at Stratton Park, located just down the street from Bella Cottage. Just how and why Bella ended up living on this property is a mystery. However, she embodied the spirit of 'turn-of-the-century' Colorado Springs and one can only imagine her riding her bicycle to work in the summers or taking the trolley (abandoned by 1930) from the station in Stratton Park to her job. Cheyenne Cañon was incredibly rich in history, long before Bella's time. Going back to the encampments of the Ute Indians, this area has attracted nature lovers for centuries. The beauty of the area is unsurpassed and is awaiting to be discovered by . . . YOU! THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY, INSIDE AND OUT. Thank you for respecting this policy. This stunning cottage is small but mighty! Such luxury and attention to details— toilet paper rolls are stamped, towels are neatly rolled, shelves are cleverly stacked with needs and pretty decor. And super clean! Truly, a most delightful stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was as advertised and very convenient to The Broadmoor Hotel with great places to walk, eat, and shop. This was in walking distance from the cottage. We enjoyed the area. The Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak were beautiful. There was so much to do that we thankful the bed was so comfortable. I would high recommend and look forward to returning to the area.

A sweet little cottage tucked behind the owner’s house. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. This is a perfect spot for a couple looking for a secure neighborhood close to many of Colorado Springs natural attractions. I’d happily stay here again if I return to the area.

Bella Cottage was very comfortable and was close to many attractions and hiking trails. We even saw some deer right outside the cottage. Located in a nice, quiet area with off street parking. I would recommend this property to others wanting to stay in Colorado Springs.

We arrived to the cottage to see lights glowing through the windows to welcome us in. The first room you enter is the cozy, high-end kitchen. The rest of the home has a dining area for two, a spotless bathroom, a comfortable living area and bedroom with plenty of closet space. Outside is a beautiful patio with furniture and luscious greenery to relax by. The "welcome book" is full of recommendations for dining and site seeing. We loved our three nights at Bella.

This was the most charming perfect little honeymoon cottage. It was super clean, comfortable and had a wonderful little outdoor area with table and chairs, lounger, and grill. The hosts were very friendly and helpful too. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again if in the area.

The owners give you an accurate description of the place, but it is really better than the description. Great value. We appreciate the opportunity to stay here. I would not recommend this DUPLEX to senior citizens. The shower is in a claw footed bathtub …dangerous to get in and out without grab bars. There was no exhaust fan in the tiny bathroom. The information listing of recommended neighborhood breakfast cafe should reflect CLOSED MONDAY. On the up side…it’s in a quiet neighborhood, easy to locate, furnished beautifully and best of all..the bed was very comfortable.

Bella Cottage was a wonderful place to stay for us (a couple) during our stay in Colorado Springs for a wedding. Hosts Karen and David were in communication before, during, and after; and we especially enjoyed meeting and talking with David while there. The location was good for our schedule while in CS, and we would definitely go back there if our travels take us back to Colorado Springs. Highly recommend Bella for no more than 2 people!

This property was even better than anticipated. It is literally one of the best properties we have stayed in. Our hosts swung into say hi and introduce themselves and to let them know if we needed anything.
We of course did not as they thought of absolutely everything! The decorating was top notch, and it was so so clean! Loved the fresh flower touch as well! Just lovely!

This cottage was exactly as advertised. It had a charming rustic feel, while being renovated with all the modern conveniences. The owners were great to deal with, responsive to messages, and had thought of so many extras. It was a wonderful get away and we would highly recommend it!

The property was excellent perfect for 2 people. Close enough for everything that you want to go. In the Winter time you'll see a lot of mule deer around 5 PM or so. Don't hesitate to book this place at all. Kitchen had everything a person would need. My wife really enjoyed the tub. Place was clean bed was very comfortable. I would have to say this is one of the better places that I have stayed at and I have stayed at good places.

Cozy and absolutely wonderful! Our time at Bella Cottage met our expectations and beyond!! It was so warmly appointed and its location to Garden of The Gods and The Broadmoor Hotel holiday lights was awesome! The cottage had a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, had everything we needed for our stay. and was perfect for two! Great cafe walking distance away with great food. Friendly host! Perfect nostalgic cottage built in the early 1920s but updated with all the necessary modern conveniences to make you comfortable and relaxed. The cottage is very charming, inviting and warm. Bella Cottage is an excellent choice for couples! The location is very close (walking distance) to our favorite hiking trails and also near our favorite eating establishments. The on-site hosts., David and Karen are amazing, friendly people and we loved everything about this vacation. There is abundant wildlife in the area including bear, deer, racoons etc. many eat from the apple tree just outside the bedroom windows.

Husband and I in area celebrating 27 year anniversary. Both agreed this was the best VRBO rental anywhere. Pristinely clean, comfortable bed, adorable decorating, lots of extras included, shampoo, soap, robes, coffee pods, etc. A welcome and happy anniversary sign greeted us as we entered the kitchen to boot.
