About this houserental
Nestled in Block Island, this lovely house for $589 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Tucked away in historic Old Harbor, Summer Breeze offers the vacationer privacy and tranquility, easy access to beaches, restaurants, shopping and Block Island night life. Located about one mile from town, this contemporary style home boasts an inverted layout maximizing magnificent island views from the upper level kitchen, living and dining areas. The upper level spills out on to an expansive deck, extending the living areas of the house. There are two bedrooms and two full baths located on the lower level. Enjoy panoramic views of Block Island from the interior through floor to ceiling french doors or by lounging on the upper or lower level wrap around decks. The double decks provide the option of glorious sunlight from the top and cool shade from the bottom after a day at the beach. Prepare home cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen and dine in the dining area which accommodates seating for ten. Additional seating for six is available on the upper deck. Patio couch and cocktail table are also provided on the upper deck. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, private full bath, and separate walk out to a small porch and back yard. The second bedroom has 4 twin beds with hallway access to an adjacent full bathroom. The den located on the upper level will accommodate two additional guests with a full size futon. A room divider screens the den from the adjacent living areas. Amenities include washer/dryer, cable TV, internet, outdoor hot/cold shower, exterior security cameras, and charcoal grill. Contactless entry upon arrival. Travelers supply their own bed linens, bath and beach towels. Up to two pets are welcomed at a pet fee of $100/pet. Available during the high season for a full week minimum, during the off season for a 2 night minimum and/or monthly during the wintertime.

We loved our stay in this house on Block Island. It was perfect for our group of 6 (I do think more than that might be cramped). It's a great house, tons of light and great hang-out space upstairs with cozy bedrooms downstairs. We were asked to bring our own towels and sheets a few days before our stay, which came as a surprise so something to be aware of, but we made it work and enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed the property very much and it's proximity to New Shoreham and New Harbor worked out perfectly for our sailing trip. Being tucked away off the main road made it quiet when we needed it too. Thanks for a great stay.

The Summer Breeze Cottage was everything we were looking for in Our Block Island Getaway. The property was located in a great location which offered us the ability to walk to most locations we wanted to go to. It also offered us a lot of privacy even though there were homes all around us. The yard was perfect for our dog to play, and lay out in the sun. Kristine was very responsive to our questions, and made sure we had all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Wrap around double level deck with coal bbq gives ample space to enjoy nice weather and breeze. Rooms are spacious. All appliances were working and house was clean. View of the conservatory with lots of privacy. House does not come with soap, paper towels or linens. I wish the linens and soap etc was provided with the rental. Easy 10 -15 min walk to restaurants and beach. Could not get internet to work. No A/C : it did get hot in the afternoons especially in the bedrooms. Some window A/C’s would have been good especially in the bedrooms. Owner is very responsive to all your needs. Overall stay was easy and enjoyable.

Such a peaceful home! Came here for my bachelorette, and there was ample space for my friends and a great common living room for games. The location was close enough to the harbor but also remote enough to be peaceful and quiet. Would recommend!

Beautiful home. Thermstats where a bit different could be updated to show temps. Well equipt. Floors where clean. Some imorovement suggestions, Pots and pans needed cleaning. We used paper plates and cups didnt know they were there for re-use. Wild life was beautiful. We saw some trash in bushes, could have blown in bit also, a shoe and some broken glass. I would recommend and stay again.
