The size and location of this beautiful historic home was fabulous. We enjoyed our stay, especially the large kitchen and side porch. Steve was a great host and included 6 beach tags in the rental (last year we paid $20 each for them). There were two grills, a clothesline, beach chairs, umbrellas and toys at the home. Plus the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, flatware, glasses, mugs, cooking and baking needs. Location was perfect and couldn't be beat right in the center of Cape May! Looking forward to using the property again.

Great location. We have stayed on Jackson Street before and appreciate the location. The place is spacious. I do not think the photos are recent because there is a sitting room with a TV in the lower level that is not shown in the photos. Communication with the host was good. The fact that beach chairs and tags were included was amazing. There were just a few imperfections in the home.

Excellent location and property. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 3 kids and we had plenty of space. Finished basement made it perfect for everyone’s own area. Loved the porch and watching everything Jackson St had to offer. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and home. Steve was excellent as well, answering any questions we had leading up to the trip. Would def stay there again.

This house easily becomes a home away from home. It is spacious for 8 people, and well maintained. The location is perfect for walks to the beach, restaurants, Washington St Mall, and other Cape May landmarks. This was the second consecutive year our family spent here. It is perfect for us.

Steve was a wonderful host and the property was exactly as described. The location was perfect! We had four adult couples in the house, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Thanks again Steve for a wonderful stay.

Very nice property, close to downtown restaurants and bars and also only 1 block to the beach areas. Everything was as advertised and Steve, the property manager, was easy to communication with and provided tips or answered any questions promptly. We will consider staying at this property again when we visit Cape May again.

Great location Spacious

Perfect location!!

Early September, we took an all adult family vacation to Cape May. This was our first time staying at 34 Jackson Street (Unit A) Condo. What a great rental! The condo was laid out perfectly for our group of 6. The younger family members loved taking residence in the lower level where there we 2 bedrooms, a huge bathroom and a cute sitting room with a sofa, small table and chairs and TV. As the oldest in the group, I took the back bedroom with its own en suite bathroom. My Son and Daughter-in-law took the front King Bedroom off the living room. It was a very spacious room. They used the half bath that was located on the first floor and then showered in either of the other 2 full bathrooms. Not a problem for them. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, glassware, silverware, cutlery, pots and pans and top end appliances. We ate out in restaurants for all of our meals but wanted to give a thumbs up for for future guests. Great kitchen! The living room was directly off the kitchen and dining room. Lots of room to spread out. There is a half bath located in the hallway for everyone’s convenience. The washer and dryer was located down the same hallway. Then we move on to Location. WOW! Literally, it was only a few steps to the Washington Mall. Ocean Avenue was less then a block. Cross the street and you are on the beach! LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! It was the best! In closing, do not hesitate to rent this vacation home. You have 2 parking spots available behind the house. Beach tags and beach chairs were provided for our use. I forgot to mention the large side porch where I sat with my coffee every morning and people watched on Jackson Street. We also had a smaller back porch we could use, if needed. 34 Jackson (Unit A) gets a 5 Star review from this happy vacationer!

Loved our stay in Cape May at the Beacon. The house was located steps away from town and the shore- we hardly used our car. I wasn’t aware the house was subdivided and there was another unit, so we didn’t have the porch that faced the street. Plenty of room for family. The only issue we had is that the room with the king bed doesn’t have an en-suite, and the nearest bathroom is toilet/ sink only and is through the living room and kitchen. Other than that everything was great and I’d stay here again for the location alone!

The location of the property is great, and it's spacious. While it sleeps a lot of people, it lacks ample sitting room so if you stay with a larger group, people will be split up. The listing also specifies bringing your own sheets, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products, etc. which is a drawback for anyone traveling from afar to stay here. However once again the house is in the perfect location so as long as you don't mind those few things, you'll enjoy your stay.

The location of this property couldn't have been better! We were walkable to everything and had plenty of room to spread out in the house and on the porch! We'll definitely come back here :-)

Ideal location in the middle of cape may- steps away from the beach and the best shops that cape may has to offer. Plenty of sleeping and gathering space for 6 adults and 1 infant. We enjoyed our hang outs on the side porch. Steve was a great host and very communicative! We had the best vacation!

Another awesome trip to Cape May! This house is in the perfect location between the beach and mall area. Very convenient especially when you have smaller children. I would highly recommend!

The place offered plenty of room for us to spread out, but still be together. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a large dining room table where we could take our meals together.. We enjoyed spending time on our cozy side porch.
