Good location and layout of the home. We liked the multiple beds so nobody had to share.

We appreciated that this property was located about 30 minutes from everywhere we went by Uber during our 4 day stay. The property has an older, more rundown side to it with 4 bedrooms in it. And it has a more up to date 2 bedroom suite. It suited us well. The big decks overlooking the lake were a big plus. And the deck furniture was plentiful and comfortable. There was some confusion at check in about how to access the second suite. As a result, we missed staying in it for 2 of the 4 nights. The bedding, towels, etc. are a bit on the worn side. The pictures definitely enhance the look of the property but capture the different spaces accurately. Overall, the property met our needs. If you’re not looking for fancy or modern, this property holds a big group well.

Overall, it’s was a fantastic vacation. The property manager & owners were great! We enjoyed working with them. There were a few minor problems. Light bulbs not working or missing inside & outside the house. Mold on the shower curtains. TV’s we’re available but no cable. It should be listed to bring your own Roku or something compatible. All in all, the house was well worth the price. We are happy to stay there & recommend it highly!

We enjoyed spectacular sunrises and beautiful sunsets from the deck, Fished from the dock and motored around the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house had plenty of room with a bed for everyone to comfortably sleep 14. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We rented a pontoon boat from Chip and would highly recommend you rent it as well. Can’t say enough about this vacation. Looking forward to staying there again.

Great location on the water. Group of 12 of us had more than enough room to spread out. It’s a bit of a drive to get into downtown Nashville, 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The deck overlooking the water is a great spot to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Overall, a fantastic stay.

The property was amazing and we had a fantastic stay. We stayed at the property and had 12 adults. This enabled every couple to have their own space. We enjoyed the outdoor space, game room, and the overall space. It was about 1/2 drive to downtown Nashville. Would stay at this location again in the future!

I want to start with the communication with the owner and her quick response to correct issues was at a Perfection Level! She fixed every small issue I had quickly.
On the property: it was very Clean, it just needs some TLC and time spent on some Maintenace areas-Shower's grout in downstairs bathroom, outside deck and furniture, wasp nest, fornt porch light or bulbs. Beds were nice clean and comfortable. Decor for downstairs playroom needs some Love--maybe a couple of chairs or love seat. I would suggest you leave a written direction for the light switches on the wall downstairs. Firepit was a good walk from the house-not in actual backyard-so the use is not convenient to run up and down to get drinks. We had planned on using the firepit after a long day at the wedding, just wanted to chill and relax with family but did not.
I WOULD suggest that you put a permanent Roku or Amazon Firestick in both of the TV's. No one thinks about not having cable because you can stream but you have to have a device or built-in device on TV to stream...to say how upset we were to think we could not watch SEC Football-is an understatement! But I called the Owner, and they brought over a Roku and we were in business for 1 of the TV's. Again, her response time and willingness to correct was Top Notch.
It was a 31 minute drive to The Glutch area of Nashville, on a normal Saturday. The scenery is peaceful, relaxing but we had to swat at yellow jackets and wasp so we came inside until we went and bought spray. We went around and sprayed the nest and left the spray for future guest.
I would Recommend this VRBO for anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind, chill, relax, or enjoy a boat!

We rented out the property for our friend's birthday, and everything from the amenties to the lake itself was beyond our expectations. Melissa was very kind and responsive to any inquiries we had.
I would also highly suggest renting out Pontoons and/or Kayaks from Chip, as it is not only significantly cheaper than renting it from a marina, it also adds more to the trip experience. Chip was real friendly and gave us an informative tutorial on handling the Pontoon, as well as the Cumberland's history and notable landmarks.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who are planning big gatherings, especially any bachelor/bachelorette parties, as it's only 30 minutes from Music Row and The Gulch in Nashville. It's also a great place for fishing enthusiasts, as the bass were jumping right off the dock. We would definitely rent this place out again

We loved the location of the home and how beautiful the view was! The accessibility of the boat and being able to rent and have it right at our dock was awesome! The home fits 11 people perfectly, any more would have been pretty tight! Our kids loved the pool table, back deck! Such a beautiful view!

The cove the house is on is just perfect! We had little guys with us and the water was just perfect! Just a short distance away is an area called 2 foot… water is a bit rough… but even our youngest could touch. Definitely recommend renting the pontoon. So easy to communicate with the owners

We rented a pontoon one day and had a great time exploring the lake. The grill was awesome to have out on the deck as well! Would definitely recommend this place. One complaint might be to have some dark out curtains in the bottom bedroom for that morning sun! Great place. Great communication with the owners!

Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was due to thin walls (heard those sleeping in room next door snoring), no door on master bathroom, and creaky floors. If these things wouldn't bother you then this is a great place. We would rent again!

My daughter had a weekend of cheer competitions in Nashville and we wanted all of our family to be able to enjoy a mini family vacation. This home was exactly what we needed. It was spacious, clean, and had plenty of things to do for kids of all ages.

We were visiting the Nashville area for a high school baseball tournament. This location was perfect. The property has plenty of space and full equipped. The lake setting is beautiful. The only regret we have is wishing we had more time to actually spend at the property.

This is a big house and handled our family of 9 perfectly. The lake view is excellent and we fished every day and hardly left the cove. Melissa and Chip go out of their way to be sure you're happy and have what you need. 5 stars all the way!
