Location was good. Close to most things on the island. Will consider a larger unit or one that faces the beach instead of the road.

Wish there was a bicycle available for traveling island. Also, need a larger frying pan for the kitchen. Very difficult using the square griddle on the small stove-top.

Apartment was nice & clean. Had everything we needed to cook with & having a washer & dryer was nice when we came in from the beach.

Could have used a more comfortable couch instead of a futon but was still nice. It's quit the trip to the beach but worth it once you get there.

Location was great!

Was not as advertised. Wish I would have known to look up the building itself and rent from someone other than Vacasa. The room was very dirty and not well kept. They floors were even filthy. Simple things like no toilet paper, paper towels, or trash bags I handled, but major things like lack of cleanliness were a problem. Mold, dust, and just plain lazy filth is what you’ll find with this room. Oh, and the door latches to the bedrooms are broken and the washer only works part time. Do yourself a favor, rent from someone else!

It was clean, they provided soap for washer and dish washer, had most things needed for cooking - pots and pans, cookie sheets, casserole dish, etc. Pools were nice, good boardwalk to the beach. Beach was nice, no trash.

I booked the condo based on photos, but when I got the confirmation, it was a completely different one. The one I wanted had a table for 4, the one I got had a tiny table for 2. This was false advertising. When I asked, they said it was just an example condo. By the time I found out, it was too late for a refund, or I wouldn't have booked. The condo could use a can opener, pizza cutter, kitchen scissors. We did without, but would be helpful.

not to far from the actual beach. it was nice and clean. smelled well, the beds could have been a little more comfortable. well at least the one with the queen bed. my sister that slept in the bedroom with the double on bottom, twin on top was comfortable. but want let the bed stop me from returning.

everything was nice.

my husband and I loved the location and it was right on the beach. also we enjoyed how close restaurants were and the apartment we rented was great. I was very happy with it. some things probably need to be updated but everything is functional. I would rent from the property again.

The dead bolt door had an issue with it. I had to figure out the best way to make it work. Once you figure out how to jiggle the key in the lock right to where it unlatched the door it gets easier. I think it just needs to be replaced. We didn’t have any other issues with the property.

Dauphin island is great. The condo was a bit more than comfortably used, but was what we’d expected with a short notice booking
