We stayed for a hunting trip in Ashley. The house was a bit small and the bedrooms were too crowded, with extra beds squeezed in. Our party only has 5 guys, and that was plenty for the space. More than 6 adults would be very tight in my opinion. It was functional and served the purpose for us, but we have stayed in better hunting houses. The clothes dryer did not work and that would have been nice to have a functioning laundry room.

Ice fishing trip for a week to Ashley ND.

We had a great time in Ashley. Neighbor came over to visit us and talk. Local businesses were very good to us. The Roost has great food. The house worked the house worked great for us. We had 7 guys plenty of space for us to spend the evenings. Area to clean the fish. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a place to rent for fishing or hunting trips. Will be looking to book again next year. Thank you Jim

Great home, exactly as described in the listing and very easy to find and check in. Big blizzard put a damper on our pheasant hunting but we still had a good time. Great people in the local area and a very fun trip. The house is small and perfect for a couple of guys looking for a good base of operations. The washer and dryer and big screen tv were awesome. Really hope to come back soon! Highly recommend!!

Had all we needed for our fishing trip and more. Adequate room for 8 and a nice area to clean fish. Fish were not biting that well but we will be coming back next year

House has 9 single beds, our group had 5 guys and each of us had room to spread out and not feel like bumping into each other. Frank called us morning of our arrival to confirm and cleaned out snow to get our vehicles and trailers off the street. He also provided recent fishing report and locaton for bait! If return to area will try to stay here again.

Fishing and Friendly Locals in a Small Town

Four of us stayed here on a fishing trip and found it to be an enjoyable stay. Although fishing was slow there was little to nothing to complain about on the accommodations. Frank the caretaker was super friendly and helpful to navigate the area. He even dropped off some dish soap because fishing from sun up to sun down made it hard to catch an open grocery store. The entry way had good storage and hooks for our gear and the living room was nice to relax in at the end of the day. We would stay here again on our next trip, but hope the fish are biting better!
