Nestled in Wild Dunes, this lovely house for $400 per night is a great option for your next break. Beautifully decorated home in the highly desired Pelican Bay community of Wild Dunes. Just across the street from the beach, with a relaxing community pool. Master bedroom has a King bed and full bath. The upstairs bedrooms share a full hall bath and one has a queen bed and the other two twins as well as a private balcony. Enjoy a relaxing view of the amazing sunsets as you overlook the large lagoon in the back of the house. You might even get a glimpse of 'Allie' the neighborhood alligator sunning herself on the edge of the lagoon. If you are an early riser you can enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise as you rock on the front porch. Located just a 20 minute drive from historic Charleston, there are numerous sites to see and places to shop. Within 5 miles there are over 15 restaurants, 7 golf courses, 3 marinas and several parks. Enjoy golf, tennis, nature adventures, boating, water sports and deep sea or in shore fishing. You may prefer a relaxing day at the spa or just sunning on the beach. Wild Dunes has daily activities for both adults and children. Rent a bike or bring your own and enjoy miles of scenic trails. ADDITIONAL RENTAL INFORMATION Weekly rentals only from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Cleaning fee for 3 nights or less. Monthly winter rental available. Our cleaning service uses hospital grade disinfectants after each rental to protect our guests. Our pillows and mattresses have been treated with Microban antimicrobial. Keywords:

Just right for two, could easily accommodate four. Owner was very responsive. Clean and freshly painted. Close to beach access. Elderly might have difficulty with steps into the house, but accurately reflected in photo. Would recommend.

Siblings & partners gathered near elderly parents to celebrate Thanksgiving over Veterans Day weekend. there are two birthdays adjacent, it has become a tradition, now that our kids have flown. mom & Dad used to live in Wild Dunes, so it was a fun return to old stomping ground!
We walked on the beach, shared memories, and cooked an Italian feast. This house worked very well for these purposes, everyone enjoyed it.

We rented this unit for the location, even if it was bigger than we needed. To our delight, the master bedroom is on the first floor. The only reason we went upstairs was to do laundry.
The kitchen was small compared to the house size, but fine for a rental, especially in such a foodie town.
We loved the screened in porch and sat out there every morning, watching Allie the alligator and her turtle buddies. The decor was very well done and I enjoyed the color scheme.
Jim was very thorough and prompt in his communications.

The property needs some TLC! The dryer doesn’t work. We believe that there might be black mold in the house. Some of us came home very sick. The vents and fans were filthy and the ceiling in family room is cracked in several places and well as 4 windows. It definitely needs a major deep cleaning.
Property manager was excellent in responding to all our needs. The entire neighborhood is beautiful.

We were highly impressed with the house and the location to the beach and the pool. "Alley " the gator ,the screened in porch and riding bikes around the island was the favorites.

Communication was smooth, house was clean upon check-in, it worked well for three adults, and one toddler. Good communication with the property owner, check-in instructions were smooth, and everything went as directed.

We had a great time this May staying at the house! Was clean and everything that the listing said! My family and I enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the scenery around the house aswell. Most likely will return !

Jim was absolutely incredible. So accommodating for our girls trip! We loved the location and felt 100% comfortable and safe. It’s an easy ride to “ downtown” and other nearby attractions. Would 10/10 recommend! W

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and neat and well laid out for two couples. I liked having the open area across the street and we always love the neighborhood. This will be one of our regular Pelican Reach rentals.

Our family of 5 had a lovely stay in this house. The rooms were clean with plenty of towels and extra linen. Having 3 bathrooms was great for getting ready for our festivities. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screen porch and view of the pond. Besides the alligator lazing in the sun, we saw a variety of birds and so many turtles. The beach was a short walk away- we were able to rendezvous with all our relatives. We would definitely come back.

Great n'hood and property very clean and perfect size for us
we were in town for Charleston Southern white coat ceremony for our son so we didn't spend much time at the house but when we did we loved the proximity to the beach and all the outdoor spaces we would certainly rent again for our next trip

My husband and I rented the house for my birthday. We love to come down to get a fresh seafood dinner. The house was an absolutely perfect place to stay! The check in instructions from the owner were so helpful. The house was clean, cute and cozy! The area was also very quiet so we had a very relaxing weekend! The view of the lagoon from the screened porch was very nice! Also a very short walk to the beach! I would highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a great getaway! I will definitely keep it in mind for future stays!

My mom, sister, and I traveled to Isle of Palms for a mother-daughter-daughter bonding vacation. We selected this house after looking at several that were available as it looked like it had everything we wanted. We were not disappointed. It was clean and comfortable, quaintly-decorated, with good provisions and resided in a peaceful community. An added bonus was having the master bedroom on the main level and a nice screened-in porch overlooking the water (which was perfect for our afternoon drink and games). What we really appreciated was that the owner, Jim, was very quick to respond to certain questions we had. It was clear that it was important to him that everything go smoothly for us. If we find ourselves back in the area, we will definitely plan to stay here again!

This was our second time staying here. It works out great because we have family in Charleston. We had a great vacation even though hurricane Ian moved through!

This was our second year at this house. And this time was even better than the last! We had two toddlers with us, and the screened porch, pool and proximity to the beach were perfect. The house is clean and well cared for. New pots and pans were greatly appreciated. Jim’s response time to our questions was very fast and kind. We love this place!!!

House was clean and perfect for our group of 6 for our Wild Dunes golf trip. Really enjoyed the screened in back porch as well as the open deck over looking the lagoon in the back. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Bay. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The community has a nice pool and is just across the street from the beach. The owner is easily accessible and responded quickly to any questions we had. I highly recommend this property!

Great beach house!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The walk to the beach is quick and easy. The house is located on a nice little cul-de-sac close to the community pool. Loved hangin on the screened in porch watching our alligator friend. Wild Dunes is absolutely beautiful! Would give 5 starts if the house was cleaner upon arrival. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The location is fantastic (right across from the property owner beach house and about .5 miles from the main large pool). The only complaint that we had was the beds. The main king bed and upstairs queen beds are VERY squeaky, which makes it really hard to get a good nights sleep. Just turning over in bed will wake up the person next to you. I would highly recommend to the property owner that they replace those two bed frames or mattresses (I'm not sure what was squeaking so badly) and improve the quality of the linens on the bed, but otherwise the house was great.
