Nestled in Anchorage, this lovely house for $495 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Brand new 2022 Sundance Model 880 Optima Midnight Spa installed in 2022! 800 square feet of living space added to the house in fall 2023! Girdwood is a small outdoor and skiing community located 30 miles south of Anchorage. Home of Mt. Alyeska and Alyeska Resort, Girdwood is the perfect place to spend your Alaskan getaway for skiing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, and exploring south-central Alaska. The Girdwood Valley Guest House is nestled in the trees with privacy, yet close enough to all amenities. The property is less than 1.5 miles to Girdwood Town Center and less than a mile to the Ski Day Lodge. The house includes over 4,700 square feet of living area, along with multiple decks, hot tub, and EV charger. The large family room includes a large 4K Roku TV with Klipsch surround system, poker and pool tables, and a Bowflex adjustable weight bench set. There is a formal dining area, breakfast bar, wood stove, large custom kitchen with stainless appliances, three full baths, and a large laundry room. Each floor includes a Bluetooth TEAC / Curtis Mathes Vacuum Tube Stereo System. Beautiful original oil paintings throughout the house by Eugene Daymude, Charles Handford, Edmund Blouin, James Kendrick, Robert Rucker, and Collette Pope Heldner. As well, there is a garage large enough to park your vehicle and store outdoor gear. Enjoy the stellar views of the Girdwood Valley from the large windows in the living room, dining area, and from the deck. House includes HD YouTube TV and best available Wi-Fi in Alaska (GCI RED). The house is stocked with shampoos and conditioners, soaps, laundry detergent (Hypoallergenic Ecos), toilet paper, paper towels, condiments, dressings, popcorn, flour, sugar, cooking oils, vinegars, spices / seasonings, etc. The house has coffee stations in the basement and on the first floor that are stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, Truvia, Sweet 'N Low, and creamers. Please note this is a residential neighborhood, loud parties are not allowed! As well, a maximum of the three cars at the house at one time and no parking in the street.

Fantastic place to stay to ski and play with family for the New Years holiday! Whole house is well maintained and very clean! Only minor suggestion is to remove cobwebs in upstairs master room. We only discovered after a few days into our stay but were too high to deal with, otherwise so nice! Thank you!

This is our second stay at this beautiful property. Girdwood is a beautiful place and this property is a great place to stay while there. The house has everything you need to enjoy your time there. Plenty of room to spread out and there’s a nice hot tub to relax in after a long day out exploring Alaska. There’s a pool table and game table downstairs if you decide to pick up some pizza and spend some time in one evening. The views are beautiful from the large windows or outside deck. It’s just a great location and a beautiful property with awesome views. I will definitely rent this property again if it’s available if/when I return to Girdwood.

This home was absolutely amazing! We loved the location to the brewery, slopes, and we used the hot tub very day! Very clean, and it had plenty of space and beds for our group.

Overall, the house worked great for us. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and supplies. Enjoyed the hot tub and soaker tub.
Would be nice if the two windows above the bed in master suite could be covered, since it's light outdoors almost all night. Tub in downstairs bathroom has slow drain.

The den/game room downstairs was the most used room in the house. The view of the snow-capped mountains while we ate breakfast upstairs was phenomenal. I would definitely stay here again.

I was planning on checking out the new spa at the hotel and skipped it because between the master bathroom and the hot tub I felt like I was at a spa at this house. Also the kitchen is extremely well stocked and views are incredible. Will definitely be back.

This house was amazing and the location was perfect for the activities we partook in. The Master Bedroom soaking tub was an absolute life saver after hitting the slopes and the shower was equally impressive. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again.

We had two families and a couple of the kids friends stay for the weekend. This place was stocked perfectly for our enjoyment. The downstairs was the “fun spot” for the teens to play and sleep, including board games. We would stay again. Thanks Jackie!

This was a great rental. The hot tub, game room, and space was enjoyed. The house was well stocked with everything you might need. The only issue we had was the handle on the main floor bathroom sink kept coming off. I would highly suggest staying here.

Our family stayed here over New Years. The house is great for all ages. Very comfortable and entertaining. Loved the hot tub, pool table. Very clean with lots of room to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. We are already planning a future vacation here;)

This place was great, has lots space for sleeping your groups and all the amenities are nice to enjoy. Amenities; hot tub, poker table, pool table, and nice sound bar to have some music playing as well. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy Girdwood!

We stayed in Girdwood over Xmas and really enjoyed this rental. The house was well appointed and accurately described in the listing. The owner & property manager did a great job communicating with us and accommodating early check in, which was much appreciated. I’d recommend this rental if you are staying in Girdwood… especially for larger groups!

The views are beautiful and the property manager answered all my questions in a timely manner every time I reached out, as well as the owner. I highly recommend this property!
