Nestled in Mission Beach, this charming house for $365 per night is a great choice for your next break. We spend as much time as possible at the cottage so it is fully appointed. It will feel like your second home and not a rental. While it is only 400 square feet the elevated wrap around deck outside the double French doors turns the family room in to an indoor outdoor space with an amazing view of the white water. We have appointed the cottage and added amenities for couples who are willing to pay a little more to have the very best. It comes fully stocked with everything you could need including bikes, surfboards, boogie boards, beach chairs, BBQ, and a fully equipped kitchen with all types of wine, champagne and martini glasses. Our goal is for this to be the nicest vacation rental on the beach and based on the reviews we believe we have succeeded. There is no reason to rent a condo with people beside and above you when you can rent this stand alone cottage on a very peaceful court. Parking is a one car garage with an 8' wide opening and will fit a vehicle up to 17' 9' long. We have limited the occupancy of our one bedroom one bath cottage to two adults. It is the absolute perfect place for a couples getaway. If you want to have friends over we limit the additional guests to 4 being a total of 6. This is such a lovely little place! Literally steps to the beach. Amazing ocean and beach view. Quiet little neighborhood and part of the beach, but it's a quick walk to yummy food. The rental comes with bikes, boogie boards, games. The house is small, best for just two people. The owners are so nice and easy to communicate with. Stay here!!

I was in town for a conference and needed a place to work online before another conference the following weekend. This property was just right. Steps from the beach (didn't even bother to put shoes on when I left the house) and a great view from the patio for working. Superb internet, which was essential for me. AND the kitchen was so well stocked. I love to cook and am used to "making do" when I rent, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that absolutely everything I needed was already there. And a fairly easy walk to a grocery store as well. The bikes were helpful (even left me some backpacks to use!), though I never got into the water with the boogie boards, etc. I would definitely come back here.

We enjoyed our first stay at this wonderful little charge after spotting it on a previous trip to Mission Beach. It's such a cute, comfortable little place with a stunning ocean view! We biked all over the area on the provided beach cruises, cooked up a tasty steamed clam dish in the well furnished kitchen, and spent hours on the deck people and ocean watching. Can't wait to stay here again!

WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL beach cottage!! It was immaculately clean and so tastefully decorated! Everything was in working condition and directions for use of tv, locks, etc. were clearly explained. We loved having bikes for use and especially enjoyed the large deck with Adirondack chairs….. they even had footstools. The beach was visible from the deck and just a few steps away!!! Sunsets were enjoyed while sitting in the chairs! This beach cottage had everything it promised! We give it a 5+ rating and will stay again if ever in the San Diego area! This cottage is truly a gem!!

This cottage was perfect for my husband and I. The location is GREAT and the cottage is fully equipped! I recommend getting the smallest car possible like they suggested. The owners are great as they reached out to see if we needed anything. I locked myself out and was grateful and honestly surprised that they answered the number on the back door and helped me immediately. We will definitely be back!

Central to everything but just far enough away from the bike path to not hear all the people. A view of the ocean and bay a porch and peace and quiet. What more can you ask for. The house is ideal for 2 maybe plus a kid or two. Use of the bikes was nice as well Thank you. The flowers were the best in the neighborhood! Truly a gem

To say that the cottage was clean is an understatement! Our home is “clean”, the cottage was immaculate. Everything you need including a Keurig coffee maker. Very comfortable bed and accommodations. The owners communication via emails and instructions was clear and concise, we did not need to contact them. Everything was in excellent working condition and we did not experience any problems. We would definitely stay there again and we certainly recommend the cottage! If there was a sixth star rating to give it, we would.

The location is perfect and it was quiet inside the cottage. So much to do and close to everything. The cottage is very cute and well appointed. Even the outdoor shower had warm water which is a plus because it was chilly while we were there. Will come again.

The unit is beautiful, very well maintained and is stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. It is truly “beach front” as far as we were concerned. It is one house off the busy boardwalk so much more private than direct on the boardwalk. The sunset views were splendid (and the sunrise views from the kitchen were great also). The owners are clearly meticulous about their property and it shows. The bed is very comfortable. Heaters were perfect for us. Our Tesla model Y fit in the garage perfect. We were there during the recent “high tide/wave surge” event caused by the bad California weather so we saw some HUGE waves and some slight inland flooding along the boardwalk. This house was absolutely fine during it all. We were in touch with the owners to send them some pictures of the wave actions - and they were super responsive. This is the type of house I love renting thru Vrbo. Great owners. We would definitely rent this place again - no doubts at all.

We absolutely loved this meticulous cottage! We came to the area to visit our two adult children and we enjoyed all that the cottage offered. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood in Mission Beach and it really is just steps to the ocean! We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck, soaking in the warm sun, people watching, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets! The cottage is close to all of the restaurants and shops in PB, and we loved exploring the bay side on the bikes provided for our use. We even biked to the Bird Rock area and enjoyed the seals! If you are looking for the perfect get away, in a house that provides everything you need, this is the one!!!!

We have become regular visitor to this cottage and find it to be very close to the beach with an excellent view of it as well from the front porch deck. The size of the interior is just right for two people and it is very well maintained. The garage is a tight squeeze however, but it does hold a large assortment of outdoor beach and boardwalk fun items. Washer and dryer are always appreciated if you find yourself in the need. We will continue to make this a regular location for visits to the San Diego area.
