Nestled in Coos Bay, this lovely house for $250 per night is a great option for your next break. Our home is conveniently located on the edge of downtown Coos Bay, in a nice, family friendly neighborhood. It’s just a short walk with no steep hills to a variety of restaurants, pubs, antique shops and the boardwalk. We are situated directly across the street from beautiful Mingus Park. We have three bedrooms and two full baths. On the first floor is a fully equipped kitchen and dining room with a large six person table, the living-room with gas fireplace, a full bath with soaking tub, the queen bedroom with pillow top mattress and our spacious laundry room with full capacity washer/dryer and plenty of counter space to fold laundry and also a utility sink. Out the back of the house through the laundry room door, you’ll find the spacious backyard with room to play, the covered patio area and an uncovered space to the right where you can BBQ with our Weber charcoal grill. Upstairs you will find our coffee bar with Keurig and the mini fridge, an electric piano, the rooftop deck with table and seating for 4. Our second full bathroom has shower with seating and dual sinks. The twin bedroom has two comfortable twin beds and a shared nightstand. The master bedroom has a plush king bed, a little seating area with a table for two and a lovely view overlooking Mingus Park and the surrounding neighborhood. This is a smoke-free, pet-free home. We ask that you please keep that in mind. We wish to respect those of our guests who may have allergies or sensitivities. If your desired days are booked, please check back. The house was clean and well equipped for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the blankets on the sofa had been laundered. Plenty of parking right next to the house. My wife and I had coffee on the back porch in the mornings. The rocking chair on the back porch was a nice touch. Selina the owner was very communicative and helpful. The neighborhood was very quiet at night.
My only items of note would be the fireplace control in the living room needs new batteries and the half and half on the coffee bar upstairs had expired.
Both my wife and I and the family we had with us would be very happy to stay here again.

This place has been recently updated with refinished oak flooring, newer cabinets and appliances, newer granite counter tops, newer interior paint. The bathrooms have been updated, and the beds were very comfortable.

We rented the property a year in advance because of the close location to Mingus Park and the great online reviews. The reviews weren't wrong! This is the nicest, cleanest property we've stayed at in YEARS, and we go to Coos Bay several times every summer. Everything worked, which can also be difficult to find in a rental, we've found. The property manager was AMAZING with communication, though the place was so awesome we didn't actually have to contact her besides check in and check out. Wonderful experience and will stay there again for sure!

We found the house very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we could need. We enjoyed having Mingus Park right across the street. The drive to the State Parks on the coast was easy from this house. We highly recommend it.

This home is clean, spacious, comfortable, and in an ideal location. It was well stocked with soaps, shampoos, cleaning supplies and paper products. Selina was attentive and easy to get in touch with. The park across the street is beautiful. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the future. One word of caution, the water has a funky, fishy taste so you may want to consider bringing/purchasing some bottled water.

The close proximity to Mingus Park, downtown shops and the waterfront make this house a great one! The updates are nicely done, the kitchen has all you need and the bedding is nice and cozy!

Comfortable, beautiful, warm and conveniently located home in a safe neighborhood. We had a wonderful time in this house! Excellent kitchen for cooking! We made a huge holiday meal and it was fun and easy in this kitchen. A gourmet chef would be happy here.
Another highlight was the lovely (and easy) remote-controlled fireplace. During the wet and chilly winter weather, we went for adventures outside and came back to turn on the fireplace and warm up. It was like a storybook.
Everything you want to be nice in a home is here, and upgraded: hot water, good pressure, washer and dryer, plentiful parking, good beds, Netflix, even separate heating control in each room.
It is right across the street from a lovely park. The kids would have played there every day, (it was flooded, though, due to the rainy, wintry weather.) But there was so much to do in the area! We went to Shore Acres State Park and saw the holiday lights -- highly recommended, and the little aquarium (Charleston Marine Life Center) and the train museum (fantastic) and walked the boardwalk.
The house was decorated for the holiday, which was a lovely, sweet touch, and put us in a festive mood.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect; so close to coffee, restaurants, and the beautiful Mingus Park. The cozy fireplace and living room made for the perfect family game time. The coffee bar upstairs was a hit! The property manager was also so accommodating to our needs and promptly responded to my text. She even checked in on us when the weather was unusually icy to make sure that we were careful. When visiting our family in North Bend we will absolutely make this our place to stay.

We stayed at this property for three nights and our experience was great. We did not spend much time in Coos Bay itself and instead used the area as a launching point to many of the wonderful things to do along the Oregon coast. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. We would stay here again.

Beautiful and comfortable
We really enjoyed our 2-night stay. Selina was wonderful. The house was very comfortable for our group of 4 adults. Lots of towels, comfy bedding, and everything was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended! Would definitely stay here again.

Two of our employees stayed here. Communication with the property manager was very easy and frequent prior to their arrival. Helpful email explaining expectations were given to us prior to their arrival. Nice and clean and convenient to services.

I had surgery at Coos Bay Medical Center. This home was just a few minutes away & had easy access. I loved having the bedroom downstairs with a comfortable bed. The living spaces were clean and well appointed.

There are stairs to the upstairs bedrooms but we did like that there was also a main floor bedroom so we could have a separate private area from our friends, another couple. The part across from the house if beautiful and a great place to walk. This house is on a main street and there was more traffic than we were used to, but it was bareable.
