Nice house in great location!

The house had plenty of room for 7 adults. The deck overlooking the lake was a big hit. The host quick to respond to questions both before and during our stay. The second refrigerator in the garage was great for storing extra drinks.

Our family group, 6 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs greatly enjoyed our time at this property. The house is large enough for all to be together in the common areas, the layout of the bedrooms enables privacy and restful sleeping. There are ample good quality linens, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen (just needs a sauce pan), ice and water in the refrigerator door, plenty of hot water, beautiful bathrooms with body wash, shampoo and soap, liquid soap at all sinks. The large deck on the front of the house allows for great outdoor space. There is a small sand beach at the waterfront, typical ADK lake for swimming. The many steps down and up to the water help to burn extra calories we all eat on vacation! Finally, when we were there the outside temperatures were humid and mid 80’s, not typical for the ADK; the air conditioning in the house was great relief. Great rental! The owners are responsive and good to work with.

This property is all that the listing says and more. The luxury accomodations along with the quite lake front views make for a stay that was more than enjoyable.

Family and i just needed a get away to disconnect from pur everyday hectic lives and spend time together and this place was beyond perfect! Everything we needed cozy comfortable owner took initiative to make sure we had eveything we needed! Definitely returning again!

It was a great get away for our family of 8. Plenty of space for all the teens to spread out and enjoy some down time. We had perfect timing with the snow. We were able to get in plenty of winter activities in the surrounding area. The neighborhood is adorable and the lake is beautiful. We would love a visit in the summer to enjoy the warm weather activities.

2nd time staying at this beautiful lake house. Very easy to communicate with the owner, house was extremely clean and has all the amenities a family could ask for. Even got snow and the sidewalk and driveway were shoveled in a timely manner. Thank you again.

Where else can you wake up in the morning and look out over the water? Well here you can! All but one bedroom overlook the water. Private sliding glass doors for those rooms too! My kids LOVED this home (17 and 23 years old). They loved that you could find a comfortable quite spot with the house full of people. As adults we loved the attached garage! The large living room! The neighborhood was nice and quite. My only complaint as a cook.... There is serving for 8 but not adequate pots and pans to make that meal. Stuff for pasta..no. Pan for heating single serving soup... no. Grill tongs are needed as you cannot use plastic tip tongs on a grill (or should not). But DO NOT let this deter you. Next time we will plan better.

House was clean and spacious, well equipped, great view from the deck . Unless you plan to eat in every day there are very limited options for restaurants nearby in mid October. Would be difficult to find the house after dark ! Neighbors were friendly .

Everything listed on the website was accurate and the pictures can't do justice to how well maintained the house is. We've rented several times on VRBO and this is definitely one of our top stays. The kitchen had every cooking utensil needed, the chairs/couches/beds were comfortable. It was wonderful to not have to pack any linens/towels. And, everything was clean with ample supplies of extra paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Mo thought of everything a guest would need. He replied quickly to questions I had prior to our arrival and continued to be attentive when I reached out about questions regarding the tv. I don't think that the listing mentions that the house is located on a quiet road, off a main road. We found this to be a bonus because we enjoy taking walks and could easily do so without being worried about traffic. The views from the deck, which has multiple comfortable chairs, were beautiful. My husband has mobility issues so finding a rental that works for us can be a challenge. If you're looking for a place for someone with a walker, this is it! There are a few small steps into the house and multiple area rugs but this was the best we've found for navigability. The main bedroom is on the main floor with an ensuite bathroom which has a fairly large shower stall with a built in seat and the choice to use either the shower head or a hose- perfect for someone who needs extra support while showering. The 3 other bedrooms on the lower floor (ranch house built into a hill) were large and comfortable. This was a truly wonderful getaway!

Excellent property, nice surprises with games and books. Well kept but some really cool bathroom features were unavailable during our stay .

We had a great time at this amazing home. Very clean and plenty of space to spread out and relax. The house is well stocked with all items needed. We really enjoyed fishing from the dock, sitting out on the deck, swimming out at the island and we did a great hike near Old Forge (Bald Mountain). which was about 45 minutes from the house. The great room was fantastic, beautiful open floor plan upstairs and the sauna and steam shower were nice additions to the homes downstairs. Overall great home and location and the owner was very responsive to any questions or needs.

This was a family weekend vacation. There was plenty of room in the house for all of us. Gorgeous view of the lake from the entire first floor. Lovely big deck! We had a great time!

Everything about this home is excellent. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Very clean upon walking in, with furnishings & appliances that are enjoyed by adults & children. The lake is charming, try to keep the kids from 2 to teens out of the water. We Plan on repeating this stay every year. Best str we have stayed at.....anne

The house was beautiful and spotless! Modern bathrooms with instant hot water, a sauna and a soaking tub. All the beds and bedding were super comfortable. Large screen tv and comfortable leather couches in living room. Entire house including bedrooms had plenty of space for 7 adults and two dogs! Only downside was going up and down the 61 steps to get to the water. Also could have used a step or two off the dock to get in and out of the water. I would highly recommend this house but you have to be able to climb the stairs to the water.

Our first lake vacation was an absolute pleasure. Our 7 year old granddaughter couldn’t get enough of the lake. The house was a great match, everything we needed and then some.

Enjoyed our second stay at the “Remsen House” brought a couple friends who weren’t with us for our first stay who loved it just as much as we did! Spent yesterday at the island and had a blast! Thanks again Mo!

Great place with alot of room to spend with family. The property had everything we needed during our stay. Also, the location is perfect for exploring the wineries and the southern Adirondacks without the crowds!

This property was amazing! The pictures, although great, do not do it justice. It is so spacious, clean, inviting, comfortable, well stocked, tranquil....beyond!! We enjoyed just relaxing. Beautiful views. We cooked, grilled and ate a lot! Took advantage of great movie options and put together a couple puzzles. Old Forge was close by and we visited there a couple times. Some hiked a few mountains, paddled the canoe, and one swam to the island and back!! Having our fur babies just added to the experience, they also had a great time!! Being a house that allows dogs, you always wonder what it will be like. This place was sparkling, no pet smells or evidence! Overall, I cannot say enough great things. We were very fortunate to be able to extend our stay by a day. I highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and elegant lake house. Most of the bedrooms have a lakeside view. It was so peaceful waking up and looking at the calm lake each morning. The inside was spacious and we had a great time playing games, cooking and spending time with family and friends. The host was wonderful and always responded timely.

Everything was as described in the listing, no issues there. A nice view with a kind of double-deck where you can sit and enjoy the view.
