Situated in Santa Fe, this charming house for $549 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. View the beautiful video of our home on Youtube, searching by: xawstPjkQYA Location: Conveniently located just off of Hyde Park Road with a private gated driveway less than 1.5 miles from the Plaza, this three bedroom, three and a half bathroom home is tastefully furnished with carefully collected art and antiques. There is an inspiring scenic walk to the nearby Ft. Marcy park and then on to the plaza in just 10-15 minutes (or just hop in your car and be there in 5 minutes). Bedrooms: Each of the three ample sized bedrooms has its own bathroom and private entrance to a covered outdoor portal. Each bedroom also has picturesque views of the Jimez mountains as well as the spectacular New Mexican sunsets. The beds are of premium quality with two king size and two twin beds, each furnished with ironed 1200 count cotton sheets & custom made linens. Each bedroom suite is complete with seating and writing tables, as well as flat screen TVs and DVD players. Kitchen: The large elaborately furnished gourmet kitchen (Viking Range, Subzero Refrigerator and Freezer drawers, Wolf Speedoven/Microwave, Miele dishwasher) adjoins the living area, perfect for relaxing and entertaining, with service for up to 60 people. There is virtually every imaginable appliance and serving dish and stemware that we utilize with our entertaining. Living: Bright and cheery, there is light radiating from all four window directions in the living room and kitchen, as well as from skylights above. The white Venetian plaster walls with a waxed finish display important art collections handed down through our family. There are grand 12 foot tall ceilings with beautiful Ponderosa vigas & latias and stately 8 foot tall doors. There is a generous full length covered portal along the living room and back of the house with large full view windows overlooking a natural valley, with the Jimez mountains and sunsets as backdrops. Warm up to the adobe viga gas fireplace, which is turned on with the flip of a switch. This outstanding adobe home has approximately 2,400 net square feet of luxurious living space for your vacation enjoyment. We had a wonderful time in Santa Fe - our first time visiting in the winter. Our house was just amazing, beautifully decorated and the best appointed home we have ever stayed in. The location was perfect and the views were amazing. John was an awesome host and we would love to stay again!

The house is located just up the mountain on Hyde Park Rd. Minutes from town. I walked to town one day and it was very pleasant. The owners have everything covered. House was immaculate. Great kitchen!

What an amazing 7 days at this prime rental home. John, was very helpful and gave us great tips on restaurants and things to do. Ski basin was on a 20 minute drive from the house.
The home was well appointed throughout. We even received a delightful gift basket with bubbly on the side. Thanks for a special time. I would definitely recommend!

If there was a way to give a 10-star rating, I would. The "home" is just as pictured. And it actually felt like home; beautiful, pristine, great view, quiet, private, and equipped. The entire family commented on the home and how much they would miss the view and sitting outdoors. There is a wonderful breeze that blows through the upper level. The house is stocked nicely and the bathrooms were stocked as a higher-end hotel. We did not want to leave Sante Fe, but we especially did not want to leave this home. John was fabulous and responded quickly to any question. He also sent us a very detailed file containing restaurant recommendations, trail locations, top tourist sites, etc. Would love to stay there for months. Do not hesitate to book😉.

This was a perfect stay - beautiful and comfortable home, lovely views both morning and evening, a great feeling of privacy, while still well-located for the city and hikes into nature. One or all of our group, which ranged from 20-somethings through 70-somethings, made use of the available off-highway walking paths into Santa Fe almost every day, either to explore or dine. One in our group had regular online work hours, and he was able to access the internet seamlessly. The owners made us feel "at home" in many ways -- and we'd return to this listing in a heartbeat! Thanks so much for making our long-overdue return visit to Santa Fe memorable!

My two very close friends and I had a wonderful stay at the property. It was meticulously clean and very comfortable and welcoming. The home was very tastefully decorated and had everything described and promised in the write up. The owner was a very gracious host, welcoming us with a very generous gift bag of goodies and beverages. He was very responsive each time I texted him with any questions. I hope to be able to stay at this place again. It’s very centrally located and was a most pleasant experience.

I have rented many homes in Santa Fe for extended stays over the past 10 years and have to say this has been one of my very favorites. I almost hate to share the secret. First, the location can't be beat. Five minutes drive to town, five minutes to a plethora of hiking trails yet plenty of privacy.
The gorgeous kitchen is the center of this home and is filled with every gadget and utensil you could possibly need, each fastidiously organized. The layout of the house affords plenty of privacy for each guest, yet still feels cozy. If you're like us, you will be spending most of your time sitting on the back deck with heavenly views.
Finally, I can't speak highly enough about David and John's responsiveness and hospitality. As I mentioned, I have rented countless times in Santa Fe, and I have never had any owner/property manager return texts/calls as quickly as they do. A couple of very minor home maintenance issues arose, and literally, they got back to me within minutes and the issues were fully addressed within 24 hours. We were at their heavenly home for an entire month and have already reserved it again for next year!

What an absolutely stunning home! Have stayed in many high end properties over the years and this one ranks right there at the top. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The owner touched base with us the first day to make sure we had everything we needed and that was much appreciated! Incredible views from the back veranda. Best equipped kitchen in a rental ever -- pristine Cuisinart and Greenware pots and pans and just about anything else you can think of. You can tell that this a retreat for the owners, and I really appreciate that they trust their guests. I let John know about a few little things that needed repair (not anything that marred our stay), and he thanked me profusely for pointing out things that might not be obvious if you weren't staying there. He really wants people to enjoy this place that they have put so much love into. We were three couples -- old friends from different parts of the country. I was thanked all week for finding this place.

Our group loves to travel, play golf, play games and enjoy beautiful scenery, weather and each other. My sister and I and our husbands plus our niece felt that all the boxes were checked in this lovely home full of western art, antiques and books that convey the owner's love of Santa Fe!
This hillside home of stunning, ever-changing sunsets gets top marks for its superb cleanliness, Master Suite (loved the desk,) porchtime and stunning glazed walls!
The kitchen is one of a kind! Its amazing arrangement and design shows great thought and care given to every detail! It is furnished with all possible amenities, and we were greeted with a delightful basket of goodies and bottle of wine. Wow! Coffee or tea, anyone? You've got it!
John's promptness was immediate in responding to all questions. His recommendations for food and shopping were spot on!
We were touched with his blending of a "Touch of Texas" and "Love for Santa Fe" at every turn!

Our family enjoyed this lovely home with stunning sunset views, an eclectic mix of antiques, art, and personal touches and all the amenities one could need. Our host, John, provided great info before and during our stay and was responsive and helpful. The home is close to many NM attractions and a breeze getting to the Plaza! One of the most enjoyable VRBO experiences ever!

We spent a long weekend enjoying Santa Fe and her environs. What a comfortable and inviting stay we had! We had wanted to enjoy the deck that was so inviting for a meal but it was just a little too cold! Everything was comfortable and well equipped not only the kitchen but the bar and all the bathrooms. Loved all the books and the artwork. We really felt like we stayed in the home of a friend!

We rented this house for a long ski weekend. The house was in a great location, excellent kitchen that we cooked in one night and very comfortable bedrooms. The view of the sunset from the patio was incredible.

This may have been the best VRBO we have stayed at! The description is accurate except the views of the mountains are ever more spectacular than one can imagine. The kitchen was 5 star….it has everything you need and then some. The location is spectacular. We were there for the wedding of our daughter at Bishops Lodge….so between events in downtown Santa Fe and the Lodge it was the perfect distance. The host John called to make sure we had arrived without an issue. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Can’t recommend this VRBO enough.

Our Vrbo search led us right to our rental. The decision to rent the house was quickly and easily made on the vrbo site. The house was incredible in every way. It’s beauty, comfort and amenities were outstanding. The owners provided perfection of each and every detail. They were also very helpful when we asked question about their home and, obviously, cared so much for their renters. But most of all, if there could be just one, the highlight was viewing the sunset each day from the deck. Unbelievable!

What a lovely home in Santa Fe! Incredible kitchen which is well-stocked with everything necessary to celebrate a holiday. All the creature comforts are provided for: ample towel supply, great reading material, games for those quiet evenings, and a wonderful welcome basket from the owners. We have been to Santa Fe many times and this home was by far the most beautiful with more amenities than we could have asked for! We absolutely loved this home; the huge and completely stocked kitchen, the luxurious and beautiful master bathroom and the amazing deck with the most gorgeous views and sunsets! We spent 5 nights and it wasn’t long enough. We found ourselves wanting to stay in so we could enjoy this beautiful home. I doubt we ever come back to SF without staying here!! Don’t miss this opportunity!

Absolutely gorgeous house with beautiful views! The owner was very helpful and welcoming. All the furnishings are luxurious. The location is excellent, about a mile outside of the main part of downtown, in a quiet neighborhood. Parking is limited. Remarkably clean, and well-appointed. Overall, 10/10. The experience for my family could not have been better!

This extraordinary rental captured our hearts. From the moment we entered and and saw the balcony and view across the valley to Santa Fe and on to the distant hills, we knew we were the right place. The welcoming basket of snacks was astonishing and over the 6 days of our stay we happily devoured it all. We soon learned that there was absolutely no kitchen utensil or type of pot or pan or type of dish that the beautiful spacious kitchen did not have.
And although we ventured out to the Opera, to the Indian Market, to museums, to Chimayo, to Bandelier, to the Tea House, we were always extremely happy to come HOME.
The combination of the rugs, the artwork, the books, the cozy furniture and the great attention to all the details that made this home comfortable and beautiful made us feel grateful that it had been shared with us.

Spectacular in every way! Three couples stayed here and we enjoyed every moment in this fine house. John was a delight to work with and was most responsive. I love to cook and the kitchen was beyond compare. We did several meals in, but also enjoyed the fine dining of Santa Fe. The view from the house and deck will take your breath away. I’ve rented many VRBO’s, but this tops the list!

This home away from home was the perfect getaway for three couples traveling together. It is a lovely home, very well equipped and well maintained. Highly recommend! We loved our stay at this beautiful home. It’s in a fantastic location, just minutes from downtown Santa Fe and also far enough away that you feel the peace and quiet of the mountains. The owner was wonderful to work with. It is a great set up for couples, as each bedroom has its own bathroom and some privacy. Gorgeous artwork, beautiful patio, don’t hesitate to rent this property! We hope to be back!

Having rented numerous properties through VRBO and other sites for more than 15 years this beautiful and immaculate home may be the very best experience to date!! The property is everything promised and then some. The kitchen has what ever you need whether you are hosting a dinner party or just chilling with friends. The bedrooms are lovely and the beds are super comfortable. As others have remarked in previous reviews the location is perfect— close enough to the plaza if you want to walk but just removed enough from downtown to feel like you are getting away to the gorgeous hills surrounding Santa Fe when you return to the house. Amazing sunsets from the back porch and John is just the best host—gracious, responsive in communications and available if you have questions about anything. My husband and I hosted friends and family members throughout our stay and EVERYONE went on and on about the house— not to be missed!!
