About this house rental
Nestled in Bend, this lovely house for $600 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. From this beautiful Lodge style home, walk in minutes down Galveston Avenue Corridor to downtown Bend. This spectacular home is on an acre of private land at the base of Overturf Butte. The entire lot is covered in beautifully manicured grass with apple, plumb, peach trees and access to a wonderful vegetable garden in summertime. The back yard is fenced with an enormous hot tub and patio for sunny morning breakfasts and afternoon barbecues. The home has 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, private outdoor hot tub, soaking tub, gas fireplace and dual heating and air conditioning units. With 4 king sized beds and 3 queen sized beds, the home can sleep up to 14 comfortably. There are also 2 twin beds in the Rec. room upstairs for children or single adults. The gourmet, country style kitchen is open to the living area with a breakfast nook and small eating bar. You won't have look twice to find what you need as the kitchen is stocked with every utensil you could imagine. I have been running my other vacation home the Riverfront Lodge here in Bend for 10 years now and I know how important it is to have a supper clean and well stocked house for my guests to enjoy. You can get on your bike or one of the 5 mountain bikes I supply at the house and head up the bike path which starts at the house to Phil's trail head just minutes away or go right down Galveston Ave. to your favorite restaurant or pub or continue through Drake Park along the Deschutes river to iconic downtown Bend. You can enjoy a nice hike right from the house along the Parks and Rec. trail that leads you up Overturf Butte which starts just next to the property. There is a 55 inch HD TV with blue-ray player in the living room downstairs and a 50 inch HD TV with blue-ray player in the rec room upstairs. Two bedrooms also have TV's. There is a large comfortable sectional couch in the rec room and many cozy couches and chairs in the living area along with a large dining room table and chairs. There is parking for up to 6 vehicles, 3 in the garage and 3 in the driveway. I could go on and on, but the place speaks for itself. Please just take care of it, enjoy your stay and come back and visit us again!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Proximity to town, a wide variety of activity options, and plenty of beds for a group of 11 made this house perfect for us. We would return to this property and still have new activities to explore. Property owner was communicative as needed and the amenities served us well for cooking and enjoying each others company.

This place was great for a large group! Kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the large outdoor space. The house was centrally located and we were able to walk to a few close breweries.

We only get out to Oregon every other year to visit our family. We were looking for a comfortable place to just hang out together. The house was large enough to let us all be together but also spread out when needed. The back yard was well used for badminton and football. We really enjoyed our stay

One of the best stocked Vrbo stays we have ever had. You know those stays where you have one dishwasher pod, half paper towel roll, and no extra toilet paper. Such a nice change of pace here. Thank you! Nice house in close location to everything. Tons of yard games, bikes, and backs right up to trail system. Made a stressful destination wedding easier.

Doug’s home was more than what we expected. We had everything we needed and more! Plenty of space for our whole family of 13 to spread out. We loved all the beautiful furnishings. The house is close to everything in and around Bend and a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back in the summer.

What a beautiful property… the house had such great bedrooms with big beds, super comfortable for all of us. And we loved seeing the deer in the back yard every evening! The owner is wonderful to work with, very helpful. Highly recommend this property!

A nice home for many guests to enjoy. Good location, easy walk to downtown activities. The home was clean, great layout and yard. The home was well maintained, but may be time for new carpet. A small issue was immediately responded to and fixed.

We had a group of 6 stay at the property for a work retreat - not only was it a perfect housing fit for a group that size, but it also served as a great space to spend our time in the evenings - we ended up ordering dinner to be delivered every night we were there so we could hang out in the beautiful backyard and play games in the spacious living room.
Also, Doug is a fantastic property owner and was super quick to respond when I had questions. Couldn't recommend this property more, we will certainly be coming back!

The house was everything we had hoped for and more. Fantastic location, especially for those who utilize all of the trails. The house was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked, and the yard was beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed volleyball and badminton while chillaxing in the back yard. This was a 5 star rental and we hope to be back some day.

We brought our large blended-family of six kids, some of their partners, and our grandchild together to visit my sister and her family. The house was perfect for us! Very spacious and homey. We didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed the shaded, beautiful backyard while we BBQd. The location could not be better. We stayed here with a group of our closest friends. It was the perfect house for a group of active, Bend-loving friends! We enjoyed volleyball, hot tubbing, 2 large tables, and the massive lawn in the backyard. The kitchen was very accommodating for our group size. There was a dining room table that fit all of us. We had plenty of beds, rooms, and bathrooms. The house was extremely comfortable and accommodating. The garage was large as was the driveway. We felt the listing didn’t do the house justice. Doug, the host, was also easy to communicate with. We absolutely adored our stay here and will definitely be coming back! We do wish the house could be dog friendly.
