Situated in Kiawah Island, this charming house for $371 per night is a great choice for your next break. You will LOVE this cottage!! PLEASE NOTE!!! - In addition to the kitchen and family room renovations shown, this cottage also features a new master bathroom bath/stand up shower and new tiling. It also has a new front deck/porch featuring the see-through railing .... and a new large, outdoor shower. In 2018 and 2019, new furniture was installed. First of all, it is right on the Night Heron Park with the Night Heron pool, complex, Kamp Kiawah, Nature Center, weekly park activities and carnivals all less than 100 yds away. The beach is about 300 yds away and is an easy 3 minute stroll. The park is the hub of all Kiawah activities and it is only a few steps away! The cottage has undergone a major renovation which created a great open area for living. The floors are light colored hardwood with recessed lighting throughout ..... giving the cottage a wonderful bright and airy feeling. The kitchen was expanded and has new appliances, new cabinets, and granite countertops throughout. The bathrooms have been renovated with 'adult - height' vanities and Corian(r) counters. The cottage is equipped with a large screen LCD Hi Definition television above the fireplace in the family room plus additional LCD Hi Def televisions in each bedroom. The cottage has wireless internet access throughout. The back porch is screened in with a 4 person table plus additional seating chairs for back porch dining and entertaining. This property is managed by the Kiawah Island Resort but we are able to pass on amenities to you as our guest. It is in the highest category of Kiawah Resort rental properties!!! You will have full check-in privileges and all amenities as a resort guest including access to all resort pools (only for resort guests, which includes you!), discounts on golf and tennis, etc. The cottage sleeps 7 in beds. The Master BR is a king bed. The 2nd bedroom is a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom is a Bunk Bed - TWIN bed over FULL bed with a pullout TWIN trundle bed. We do occasionally allow pets (except in summer) in special situations (contact me) but DO NOT allow smoking inside the cottage and have some special requirements of pet owners to help us keep the cottage clean and fresh. This property was everything and more of what anyone could ask for. It was clean, it had everything in the kitchen that anyone could ever need. The beds were delightful. We loved the screened in porch. It will keep this property in my notes and will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our week in Kiawah at this property - it was a 3 minute walk to the Night Heron pool and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We have small children with short legs, so this was perfect! Communication with both the property owner and the Resort was smooth and prompt. Highly recommend this cottage!

We really enjoyed our week long stay at this cottage. Our two kids loved the bunk beds and the night heron pool that we had access to because of the resort privileges. We had some issues with the cottage not being cleaned when we checked in but Rand was very responsive and everything was figured out promptly. I would definitely recommend this cottage to family and friends.

Just what we were hoping for during a brief stay to assess Kiawah Island Resort's wedding options for our daughter and fiancé/boyfriend. Walking distance to The Nest Market & Cafe, where breakfast and lunch options are ample. Greatly appreciated a friendly reception facility, where check-in is the same process for VRBO customers as it is for other resort guests. Easy driving access to our meetings and other dining reservations.

We were so happy with our choice to stay there. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great location. Host was very responsive. Would highly recommend and would love to stay there again in the future.

The only thing missing was a pantry. The water heater needed an adjustment. It was taken care of quickly by housekeeping. We had 3 families renting nearby. It was great to be near the beach, pool, playground, basketball court and the Christmas parade.

My family was disappointed in the upkeep on this property. We encountered the following issues: 1) Lock on sLiding door to MBR deck does not work; cannot be locked.
2) Electrical outlet on left side of MBR bed was dead; repairman fixed it.

4) LR ceiling fan doesn’t work; repairman said it would have to be replaced.

We had an excellent time staying in Kiawah! This property is very close to the Night Heron Pool and activity center. The cottage is spacious and beautiful. Our two kids liked sitting on the porch for breakfast. The owner is very attentive, helpful, and informative. We rented bikes and biked the island. The outside shower was a plus (our family loves an outside shower) and a great way to keep the sand out of the house. We would definitely come back! Thank you for renting to us :)

Great Location and Great Cottage
We had a great stay. Very close to Night Heron park, the pools and an easy shuttle to the golf courses. The cottage was updated and very comfortable. We loved the screened-in porch.

Great rental!
We stayed there with grandparents, and then our immediate family of 4 (kids 2&5). Everything about the rental was wonderful! We had no issues or complaints. Great location to the pool and a very easy walk to the beach!

The overall cleanliness was not good. My sheets were dirty on the bed , the couch had old food in it( my son pulled old toast out and almost ate it, he also found an old Binkey that he did use ) .There was a very large amount of dust buildup under all the furniture which caused my son and I to have allergies all week. The house was pleasant other than those issues. Having the bikes on site was super helpful for transportation. I would suggest that if you are bringing a small Child to do your research. There was not much to do at all. We were blessed with great weather so that helped in keeping my son busy 🙌.

Perfect location for a perfect stay
What a lovely property!! So clean, well appointed, wonderful layout. We have 2 kids- our 4 year old loved the bunk bed "with stairs!" And it was nice and quiet for our 1 year old. The house also has lovely beach accessories (cart, toys, chairs) and bikes too! Perfect location by the pool too. And Rand is an amazing host - take his recommendations on dinner- he knows what he is talking about! If you have little littles like us, bring a wagon or all terrain stroller; While it is only 10 minutes to the beach, we were grateful for the wagon- path to the beach is paved all the way. Older kids will have no problems with the walk at all. We will stay here again. Rent this, you won't be sorry!

Had a little issue some of the cleanup with housekeeping from previous guest. Property owner was always responsive and very helpful. Would recommend this location and would stay there again.

The perfect place for a family vacation. Nicely decorated and excellent floor plan. Lovely screened in porch too. Close easy access to the most beautiful beach. Excellent walking and biking. The stairs and railings are very sturdy. Very friendly and nice people throughout the neighborhoods. Fun restaurants. The only mistake we made was we stayed only one week instead of two.

We love visiting Kiawah Island and this villa did not disappoint! It was more than enough room for an adult, 2 kids(7,9) and our mini goldendoodle. The only hiccup was that one of the beds needed fresh sheets, but housekeeping addressed right away. The villa is open and airy, internet was strong enough for 2 kids to do school at the same time, and close proximity to the park was a huge plus (and swimming pools!) Ocean is about a 10 minute walk. We would definitely rent again!

The location and layout of the cottage was perfect for our 2 week visit. Easy and short walk to the beach, access to bike/walking trails was perfect, and the neighborhood was quiet.
