Renovated family-friendly home with sunset views! 2 blocks to beach
About this houserental
Located in Marmora, this lovely house for $360 per night is a great option for your next trip. The perfect family beach escape! Our 2nd floor condo (on the ocean side of West Avenue) sleeps 8 comfortably in 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The open-plan kitchen offers new appliances and modern amenities. Guests have access to our private shed and beach equipment. Bedrooms: - The primary bedroom has a king bed with a connected full bathroom. - The second bedroom also has a king bed. - The third bedroom has 2 full sized beds and sleeps 4. - There is also a queen pullout in the living room. (Guests must bring their own sheets. Pillows and comforters are provided.) The covered front porch has gorgeous unobstructed views of the bay wetlands and spectacular sunsets. A great place for morning coffee or evening cocktails! The rear deck has a propane grill and furniture for eating or lounging. This home also offers an outdoor, enclosed shower and a ground-level mud/laundry room (with a toilet for those quick runs back from the beach.) There is driveway parking for 1 car and plenty of street parking on West Avenue. Our location is ideal on the ocean side of West Avenue between 38th and 39th street in Ocean City, NJ. It's a very short walk (only 2 short blocks!) to the beautiful and guarded beach on 39th street. Also, only 1 block to Uncle Bill's pancake house and Aunt Betty's ice cream at 40th street and just 4 blocks to the shopping, restaurants, playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc. at 34th Street. Some stores within walking distance include Acme Supermarket, Wawa, CVS, Randazzo's Restaurant, Ice Cream, Hoys 5&10, The Garden Center, Bike Rentals, and much more. (Sorry no groups under age 25, no senior week rentals, and no parents signing for/renting on behalf of a group under age 25.)

We had a wonderful experience! Decor is so nice, very clean, and it was convenient that the house had so many amenities (e.g., lots of tupperware, appliances, new kitchen, FireStick). We were also impressed that the beds were comfy! Cheri was also very easy to get in touch with when we had a question upon arrival. We hope to return again!

Great house in a great location. The home is recently remodeled and it was very nicely done. The kitchen appliances were really nice and there were plenty of cooking utensils etc. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were a nice size (and not overstuffed with too many beds.) The porch easily seats 6 adults for dinner. Communication with the host was very easy. All in all it was very comfortable for 6 adults who want to enjoy the beach but also want to have some down time to sit and read or have a nice family dinner. We’d love to come back next summer!

Cheri is fantastic at communication! I’ve rented at OCNJ for 15 years and I adored her home. Location allowed for easy 39th street beach access which was fabulous with considerably less population then 34th or 36th street beaches. The highlight of her home is the beautiful sunsets of the unobstructed wetlands. Overall great little home with a perfect kitchen, adorable dining/living room, terrific front/back porch including upgraded grill. Our family of 6 (one teen and three young adult children) were very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay here in mid June. The house fit our family of 6 perfectly (2 adults, 4 kids ages 3-12). The shed is loaded with beach gear which saved us so much space when packing. House was clean, kitchen well stocked. Laundry is downstairs through a separate entrance but super accessible and convenient. The porches are lovely. Short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again. 5/5

House was nicely furnished. We missed that linens weren't included, but they helped us out in a bind instead of us having to go buy linens for the weekend! Loved the house, and the owner was super helpful. Would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful week in August. The property was well stocked with beach gear. The sunsets from the deck were beautiful and we enjoyed watching the ospreys over the marsh. Short walk to the beach, Uncle Bill's Pancakes, Aunt Betty's for ice cream, and 34th Street shops and playground. Comfortable beds and kid friendly!

The house was very nice, beds were comfy! It’s had everything you need for a great stay. Having access to the shed was a nice bonus to store beach things since house is located on the second floor.

What a great week we had! Cheri provided us with detailed information about everything we could possibly need or want prior to our visit. The house is tastefully decorated and spotless. Great kitchen, comfortable beds (hard to find 3 bedroom rentals without twin beds!), wonderful porch for morning coffee and evening sunsets, a handy gas grill on the back deck, and a storage shed stocked with anything you need for the beach. (The beach cart was life-changing!) Cheri was responsive when we had a question about the microwave and the tv and we were able to figure both out very easily. We will definitely be back!

I wrote this because everything was extremely clean, and we really enjoyed cooking here using the dishes, pots, pans, pancake griddle, and the dishwasher and of course the Keurig. I really like that the master had a full bath en-suite that was separated from the guest full bath. The 2 King size beds, 2 full beds, and the pull out sofa bed gave everyone plenty of room and plenty of privacy also! We will definitely book here again in the future!

I wrote this because everything was extremely clean, and we really enjoyed cooking here using the dishes, pots, pans, pancake griddle, and the dishwasher and of course the Keurig. I really like that the master had a full bath en-suite that was separated from the guest full bath. The 2 King size beds, 2 full beds, and the pull out sofa bed gave everyone plenty of room and plenty of privacy also! We will definitely book here again in the future!

We’ve stayed the last two autumns off season. It’s very clean, stocked, comfortable. Cute decor. There are two great porches- one in the back gets sun all morning and you can watch the sun set out front. Had a really lovely time reading and having breakfast on the porch. Will definitely be back! Perfect getaway
From the booking through to the checkout, the entire experience with Cheri was fantastic! The photos on the site were a true representation of the property and it exceeded our expectations. All the extra little niceties the Cheri included helped put the place over the top. Cheri was prompt in her responses to any inquiries I had and seemed very willing to help in any way possible! We hope to stay there again in the future as it was an extremely cute and comfortable place!
