Located in Finger Lakes, this lovely house for $557 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Sandy Beach Haven is lakefront family vacation home nestled in the best part of Canandaigua Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Finger Lakes. With a level yard right on the water and a westward sunset view, this premium property is now available for short-term rentals for the first time. Recently renovated and newly furnished in a comfortable modern lake house style, Sandy Beach Haven is ideal for discerning vacationers and can accommodate 1, 2, or 3 families at once: - 2 Physical Structures: 1 main house on the water, plus a furnished carriage house across a private drive 20 feet away. Large enough for privacy. - 8 Bedrooms: 5 bedrooms plus 1 loft in main house, and 2 bedrooms in the carriage house. A total of 10 beds for up to 15 people: 3 kings, 2 queens, 2 fulls, and 3 twins. (Note that some of these are bunkbeds or in the loft, which requires use of stairs.) - 5 Full Bathrooms: 4 in main house, 1 in the carriage house. Each master suite in the main house has its own full bathroom. Features include: - Beautiful Canandaigua Lake: In the heart of the finger lakes and the perfect launchpad for winery, brewery, and craft distillery tours in the area. Minutes from the family-fun north end of the lake with restaurants, ice cream, and more. - Walking Distance to CMAC: The Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center is less than 1/2 mile away if you want to catch a show. - Kayaks Included: Feel free to use our two kayaks if you feel safe doing so (adults only, please), or bring your own kayaks or canoes and carry them right into the water from the yard. - BYO Boat, or Rent a Boat: Email us for a referral to a boat rental business, and they'll drop it off at your own private dock. Or bring your own boat and use our lift (v-hull or pontoon; up to 5,000 lbs, 24' long, 120" wide) - Treehouse for the Kids: If you plan to visit with your school-age children, they'll love the little treehouse in the backyard, complete with swing. - Fully Air Conditioned and Heated: Four-season home ready for use any time of year. The house fit our needs perfectly--just the right size for our small family, clean, comfortable, everything we needed to cook, dine, play, and relax. Plus, a great view of the lake and spectacular sunsets!

We had a weekend family reunion with 13 people staying over. Sandy Beach was as promised, we did bring a blow up bed for a child which fit perfectly in the downstairs bedroom. There were 2very large bedrooms in the main house plus 3 more bedrooms and 2 in the carriage house. I was hoping for more dishes, but we supplemented with paper plates.
Lori and her husband were very helpful! Entry and exit were very easy.. we all loved our stay, no complaints whatsoever!

We had a wonderful time! The house was well equipped in the kitchen and living areas, and the carriage house was awesome! The layout of the main floor was great for meeting space and the outdoor area was awesome. It was great having a couple kayaks and grilling space.

We rented to lake house for a wedding at Lincoln Hill Farms. It is 8 minutes away. My family and out of town guests were very pleased with the house and are already planning to return for a long weekend next year.

Lori and Jim were delightful & went above and beyond the call of duty to care for their guests. They were kind & thoughtful and easy to work with. Lori traveled a long distance to return a charger left behind. Lori and Jim provided excellent hospitality.
I polled our group of nearly 15 for feedback that may help you with future guests:
1) the beds are very soft and all members of our group indicated they were too soft, which resulted in back aches in the morning.
2) the ceiling fan in the master bedroom on the first floor is noisy and wobbly
3) the dishwasher needs to be secured to the cabinet better-the housing is not secured to the cabinetry.
4) refrigerator water through the door is a trickle and does not operate properly.
5) the steps leading into lake on the dock( close to the kayaks), are extremely slippery. The suggestion would be that they are scrubbed prior to guest arrival as one of our housemates slipped, they were not hurt, but it’s something you may want to take a into consideration for future guests. they did fall into the lake as a result of the slippery bottom stairs.
6) by the entry there is a safety concern, as there is no hand rails, and you can fall off the deck ( on the short return, there is no railing or handrail)
7) even though we follow TV instructions we could not get the TVs in the master bedroom on the first floor, nor the large room upstairs to work to get basic channels, such as CNN.
8) lighting is too dim

This home was exactly as represented. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped with virtually every piece of kitchen you might need, large screen televisions in every room, a beautiful dock and outdoor eating and cooking area. Laurie and Jim, the property managers, live next door and are available to answer any questions.

A great location to all amenities. The carriage house was really nice & well equipped. We had issues with the ice maker as it did not work we needed to purchase ice quite often. The wine refrigerator also did not cool down. The dishwasher in kitchen washou very difficult to get it to work. There were some lights out in various areas of house. I would have expected things to be in better condition especially for price of rental. Overall, it was a great location - lots of room in main house, kids enjoyed the tree house, dock with boat lift was awesome. Lori and Jim were gracious and very helpful.

We love this home. This is our second stay here. Water access is easy and love the fire pit with chairs in the mornings. Close to grocery stores and shopping and breweries.

We stayed while attending our niece’s graduation from Rochester Institute of Technology. While we were 40 minutes from campus, this place was perfect given it was also a gathering of our whole immediate family.
Lori and Jim the property managers were very helpful leading up to our stay. We really wanted to rent a pontoon boat for one if the days but all the websites indicated rentals didn’t start until Memorial Day weekend. They provided us with contact information at a particular marina and we were good to go! Lori also spoke with me ahead of arrival and provided lots of details about the house, its amenities and the local area. They even met us to walk through the house when we checked in.
The sunsets are incredible!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. You were so thoughtful to include an Easter basket of goodies for the kids and bottle of wine for the adults! They had a blast with the activities included in the basket after winding down from a day of kayaking in the gorgeous lake.
Your home was so clean, with a well supplied kitchen. We all thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of the spacious rooms, many bathrooms, so much that the kids are already asking to come back next year.

This was a great rental and worked perfect for our family needs. The managers were great to communicate with ahead of time and during check in, very welcoming and wrote us a personalized card! This was very thoughtful and sweet.
We also appreciated their flexibility with our arrival and departure times. The first floor master was perfect for the family member that cannot use stairs, it was a beautiful and spacious room too. Weather was a little colder than we expected so we didn't have a chance to utilize everything outside but we did grill one night and eat inside. Great house and very welcoming hosts!!

I rented this property because it is large and could accommodate a lot of family members. It was just right for this, in fact had extra room. The best parts of this property is the boat hoist which a lot of places don't have, a large level yard for yard games, plenty of parking, and being close to town to easily grab groceries and other items. The sun sets were amazing to watch and photograph as well.

A beautiful well kept property on the lake. Supplied with everything needed if you are cooking for yourselves and plenty of information if you want to eat out or visit local tourist attractions. Games and puzzles if it rains. Lori (property mgr) is great to work with.

Second time staying at the Sandy Beach Haven and enjoyed ourselves even more than the first time. Lake was beautiful, the home was clean and spacious and has everything you would possibly need. Property managers were attentive, helpful and kind. We would definitely stay again.
