The house is 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, spacious kitchen/dining/living area with vaulted ceilings and skylights. It has a wood shingled exterior with a spacious open well lighted interior. The kitchen adjoins the common area with granite counter tops, craftsman wooden kitchen cabinets and Douglas-fir flooring. The large south-facing redwood decks are accessed from the south west bedroom and the common room through two French doors giving a view of the large enclosed fenced back yard. The house is set well back from the road by a large grassy front yard in a quiet semi-rural neighborhood. The family vacation house is close to beaches and sea cliffs, accessible by walking paths. Downtown Fort Bragg with restaurants, shops, a museum and the famous Skunk Train is close by.

We had a great time here and the house was big enough for our family to enjoy. The backyard was all fenced in and huge enough for our little ones to run around get rid of what engery the had left from being at the beach. The house was super clean and had a huge kitchen which was nice for our big family for everyone to help cook. The owner was very kind and let us know whenever he was coming to do some work around the house. Overall it was an excellent Stay and we will definitely be coming back.

First VRBO we've stayed in where we met the owner. Check-in was in person and was somewhat strange. House was clean and spacious but you will need to sort your trash by trash, recycling, compostable. Owner mentioned ants so we made sure to keep the house/kitchen VERY clean at night but still woke up to scout ants EVERY morning. Never a trail but they came out of cracks and outlets. Didn't use the compost bin as much as we could have just to avoid issues with ants. Thankfully we hadn't started putting food scraps in the bin before finding out about the ant issue. Internet is about 1.5Mb so fine with 1 device streaming but tenants may have issues if several people are trying to stream at once on their own devices. House location is great for noise as well as driving time to attractions in the area. Besides the somewhat irritating check-in and check-out process the only real gripe is that the house is stock with only single ply toilet paper. Considering the cost to stay here, it was interesting to find better toilet paper in horribly upkept rest stops.

Booked a few days before arriving to ensure good weather. Great responsiveness from the host to confirm the booking and ensure everything was in order during our stay. Bedrooms and living area are large, great for our group of 4 friends. Close enough to town for supplies and eating out as well as the Mendocino trails 🙂

The property is large open and well maintained. The living room/kitchen is one of the best our group has used. It is clean open and updated. Great for more than one cook while still being able to communicate to the rest of the party. The yard is open and fenced. with BBQ and deck. We lucked out getting tee shirt and shorts weather so the yard became our 5 o'clock somewhere gathering spot. I would recommend this property to any group.

My family enjoyed our stay. The house and rooms are large and worked well for the group. There is a large front and back yard for visiting too, with plenty of parking. The neighborhood is quiet and good for walks in the morning, but also super close to town. There are a couple of things to keep in mind. We were told by owner to fill propance tank for BBQ ourselves. Owner was present on arrival and took app. an hour reviewing items in the house. After a 6+ hour drive this was a bit tedious and an Instruction Binder would have been sufficient. When using multiple devices the wifi gets slow and stalls. The owner also drops by to care for the garden, but sends a text to inform you ahead. All in all a great house for a large group.

Great Multi-Family Location

We had a great experience at this house. The owner really did think of everything. From outback seating with BBQ to all the little things you don't think you will need in the kitchen. It had everything and was very accomodating for our group of 13. Check in and out was simple and host provided local things to see and visit. Overall great experience.

The house was spacious and swallowed all 13 of us. Bedrooms were spacious, private and enabled those of us who had work to do to get it done while the children played either in the house ofr outside in a large yard and the remaining adults conversed or read in the living room.

Great Vacation Home

Huge house with plenty of space for everyone. The only thing I might add negative is when Christopher was giving us a tour, he repeatedly cautioned us about the steps in front and on the decks. He said he had several elderly people fall. The weathered wood makes it very difficult to judge where you need to step, and sure enough my sister fell coming out of the house. Christopher did say that someone suggested he put neon strips at the edge of each step so they could see them better. I think that would be a great asset to avoid more falls.

Fun getaway

House was bigger then expected..loved the yard for the kids to run and play in. Only thing I would suggest is to update a few mixing bowls and more then 1 flat pan..but we made due and had a blast. Thank you Chris for the chat we had..love all the different plants!

We stayed here with our two kids and our best friends and their two kids. We loved the big kitchen, huge yard, and layout of the house. Super close to awesome beaches and all that downtown Fort Bragg has to offer! We will be back!

I was worried that the house was going to be smaller than the pictures but it was nice and spacious Chris, the Landlord, was there to greet us and explain certain aspects of the property, I.e. TV (Roku), gas fireplace, etc. we were very pleased and had a wonderful time.
