Nestled in Stann Creek District, this lovely house for $295 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Beautiful Indoor / Outdoor Living on the Beach. 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Private Home on the Oceanfront; sleeps 6. Extensive outdoor living areas, breezeways, private beach and pool, observation decks. Fully equipped kitchen, saltillo tile and Belizean hardwood floors. Indoor and outdoor eating areas. Gold Standard Approved by the Belize Tourism Board. You arrive to a large saltillo tile breezway with a pool and deck on the private white, sandy beach. Inside is a laundry room and storage area. Upstairs is the main living area with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the amazing ocean views from each of the living areas as well as the outdoor veranda which runs the length of the house overlooking your beach and ocean. French Doors lead from the Living Room and Master Bedroom to the large covered veranda. From the veranda is a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop deck with beautiful views of the back-bay, mountains and sunsets. This is the most beautiful area of the Peninsula and is conveniently located less than 2 miles north of Maya Beach where you will find groceries, great restaurants and bars. We are away from the noise and dust of Placencia Village but it is an easy 15 minute drive down the newly paved road to the Village where you will find numerous great shops, restaurants, beach bars, vegetable stands and music. Swim, snorkel, beachcombing and just relaxing and unwinding on the beach or your decks - all available here at your vacation home. Belize is an amazing natural wonder with the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. Exceptional diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, bird watching, kayaking, Mayan ruins, cave tubing, zip lining, jungle hikes and waterfalls as well as cave spelunking. Our local Manager can be your tour guide or setup your excursions to Monkey River, the ATM cave, deep-sea fishing, zip lining, diving and snorkeling tours. After a day of exploring the many wonders of Belize, return home for a refreshing dip in your private pool or a swim in the calm, warm Caribbean waters from your beach. Our entire family had an amazing stay. Our young adult children loved the deck, paddle boards, and access to the beach / ocean. We loved the quiet of the location and the proximity to restaurants and activities. Leo was fantastic and scheduled all of our excursions and surprised us with fresh coconuts when we returned one evening. The whole family agreed that this beautiful property and it’s amenities made it one of our best trips ever!

Loved our stay at this property. Christine was wonderful to work with and Leo was responsive before and during our stay. The house was the perfect size for us and our three young-adult children. We enjoyed having coffee each morning on the balcony looking out on the water. The property had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable including games for a rainy day. We highly recommend doing the ATM tour which is amazing. The house is located in a very quiet area but still close to great restaurants. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this property.

My husband and I booked this house knowing nothing about the area or it’s offerings. We saw the house and immediately felt drawn to it. To our delight the house was more than we ever expected. The house is directly on the beach and the beach front is only for you. Each rental on the peninsula has its own private beach front and the vegetation keeps it semi private for each property. You are in your own world essentially. Words can not describe the peace you feel. The house was easy to get to. The property manager Leo arranged for us to be picked up from the small airport and we were treated like royalty starting then. Marvin picked us up and had droves of information for us. He pointed out to us all pertinent places and suggested some things to try while we were our way to house. He gave us a printed hand out also of everything we talked about. We rented a car through Leo and Marvin had it delivered to the house as we were arriving. Placencia stole our hearts. The vibe of this area is infectious. Time slows down and life truly magnifies. The people we met were amazing. The peninsula is perfect to navigate and every life changing experience you need is within an hours drive. Everything about this place was delightful.
Just to note for travelers who may use Maya air, leave early! The flights were late both ways. The departing flight was an hour late and put us in a terrible bind to make our flight to Houston in time.

Christine was so kind, understanding, and accommodating, as was the property manager and his staff. The house had everything we could possibly need. This property was a highlight of the trip of a lifetime. We spent a lot of time at this perfect place, just a short drive from Placencia Village and otherwise extremely close to several restaurants and stores. We can’t wait to come back!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beachfront home, and I must say it was an absolute paradise. The property's prime location right on the beach provided breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the sandy shores. The shade-covered pool was a delightful retreat, offering both relaxation and refreshment. The house is well appointed with all the necessary essentials. This area is very quiet but very nice. It's just a short drive to the market and many beach restaurants. Leo was just a phone call away and Christine was very quick to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property. We LOVED our stay!!!

We absolutely loved Casa Dela Vista. The house was perfect for three couples. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and the outdoor areas are beautiful and peaceful. We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the deck and our afternoons by the pool or on our own private beach. We enjoyed fishing off the pier and paddle boarding in the ocean. Leo and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Leo arranged a fishing trip and a snorkeling excursion to Silk Caye for us. I highly recommend both. Our fishing guides (Shane and Rudy) fillet the red snapper for us and we had fresh fish tacos on the deck that evening. At Silk Caye, we swam with a manatee, sting rays, turtles and nurse sharks. We also hiked (actually it’s a two minute walk from the parking lot) to the waterfall that we read about in the house manual. We went around 9:30 in the morning and had all three waterfalls to ourselves for a couple of hours. We chose to rent a car in Belize City and drive rather than taking the commuter plane to Placencia. On the way to the house, we took the Hummingbird Highway and on the return trip, we took the Coastal Highway. Both were beautiful drives but now that the Costal Highway is completely paved, it was an hour shorter to the airport. Just make sure your car is gassed up because there are no services on the Coastal Highway. We truly had a perfect vacation and we hope to come back soon!

Just returned from a spectacular 5 nights at this beachfront oasis. Communication was perfect, property management was spot on and location was ideal. Pool was chilly but refreshing in the heat of the day. Seating options in the sun or shade and all were comfortable. Beach was delightful but the seaweed was a problem, but didn’t impact our stay as we know this is an issue everywhere. Food at the resorts nearby was the best we have had on any vacation! Highly recommend this villa and Placencia!

This is my and my family's second time staying at this house. The house always has eveything we need, and Leo is very helpful if you need help anything else. The property is beautiful and all the people in Belize are welcoming and friendly.

Our Nieces enjoyed using the paddle boards, there was a bean bag name which we all enjoyed. There was really no need to go anywhere if you didn't want to as you had it all there.
The Bistro was excellent, great food and wonderful staff!
Drove down to the Tipsy Tuna strip, again great food and a lot of fun shops to walk through.
We would definitly rent this again!

Our recent stay at Casa de la Vista was absolutely perfect. The house had everything we needed, the location was absolutely ideal and the natural beauty of the surroundings took our breath away daily. In addition to having all the desired creature comforts, the property management assistance could not have been better. Leo and his team arranged all our tours, provided transportation when needed and answered every question before we thought to ask them. Leo also suggested a dinner at the Maya Heights Restaurant which was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation. Communication throughout the rental process and while in Belize was immediate and thorough. Our family of five adults will forever be grateful we found this property and all it had to offer. Can't recommend enough.

The very best thing about this place is being on the ocean with a beautiful sandy beach right in front of us. Even though other homes are on both sides, we never had trouble with noise, too many people around, etc. Just the quiet, healing vibe we needed to escape from cold weather and the stresses of everyday life.

Beautiful views both off the beach and from the roof. The property manager was fantastic with transportation help, tips, and organizing excursions. Christine the owner was incredibly responsive and pleasant to work with. Definition rent a car so you can get to the village (which is super fun) but some restaurants and shops are pretty close by.

The description of this house is spot-on! We spent our days on paddle boards, snorkeling, reading, playing corn-hole and lounging in hammocks. The one thing you can't grasp from the pictures is the true beauty of the beach and the sea. The water is generally calm with small, lapping waves and the beach is very private, besides the neighbors on either side. It is incredibly peaceful, despite being right on Placencia road. The house itself was perfect for the six of us, but keep in mind the third bedroom seems to have been an add-on....so a little smaller with no independent AC and also a little less private, as the walls consist of oversized plantation shutters. Still would not have been a deal-breaker, just FYI. I liked the location, being in between downtown Placencia and the Hummingbird Highway. Great local restaurants....our favorite was The Green Parrot, and we loved Jaguar Lanes for the bowling and outdoor pool table. Christine and Leo were also extremely helpful and super-quick to respond to any email/text. Overall, would highly recommend Casa de la Vista....we had an amazing time at Christine's house!

Generally a very good and comfortable stay. The property has most of what you’ll need to be comfortable for a family of 4 or up to 3 couples. The home is in need of some updating and general maintenance, though, this seems typical of most of the country and Central America in general. The beach and ocean are fantastic, though we couldn’t swim too often due to the jelly’s. We even spotted several rays while sitting on the beach! Bugs can be aggressive, but spray works well if you keep on it.
The kitchen could have been better supplied with a few basics, like cooking oil or condiments as other similar properties I’ve stayed in. The pots and pans need to be replaced as well, but again, it’s a short term rental and def isn’t a dealbreaker considering the location and price point!

Casa de la Vista is a beautiful home...very clean, well-appointed and super convenient to Maya Beach and Placencia. Christine (owner) and Leo (local property manager) are both kind, helpful and responsive. As if Belize isn't easy enough, they go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. I looked at a lot of homes in several locations, and I 100% picked the right place. Thanks, Christine and Leo, for making this trip amazing. Cheers to you both!

This piece of paradise is one of the most amazing places we've ever been to. My two sons and I travel to different location annually and this one goes right to the top of the list. The host provided everything you could possibly want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The home and amminties were impeccable. The views were incredible from everywhere in the house. Our trip to Belize was absolutely wonderful. The house was just as pictured, and very lovely. All of the outdoor spaces were quite nice and had gorgeous views. The house was very clean and had everything we could possibly need- even a lime squeezer for those margaritas on the beach! There are even guide books on the coffee table in the event you want to read more about the activities you have planned or are trying to decide on planning! I think my only complaint would be the neighbor next door and his affinity for playing techno music very loudly on his outdoor speakers at odd hours (early morning, late at night, middle of the night). Leo, the property manager was wonderful though and helped us immediately when we complained about the noise, and also helped us with all of our excursions, car rentals, and questions throughout our stay! We loved the house though and will certainly be back to Belize!

What a great property! I’m so glad we pulled the trigger on this listing. It was the perfect size for my family of four. Both of my 20ish old sons had their own room which they appreciated. So many places to lounge -a favorite of mine was the wooden chairs on the beach for family chats. For solo reading, I loved the hammock under the palm trees. My guys said it was one of their favorite family vacations. I hope we can come back soon. Thanks Christine!!
