Bare Feet Retreat is a cozy ranch home conveniently located on a quiet street on the north end of Ft. Myers Beach. Cross the bridge and you are here! Less time in traffic means more time to relax, enjoy beach life, and your vacation. Shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife, and white sandy beaches are all 1 block or less away. Times Square, which is the “heartbeat” of Ft. Myers Beach is just 1 block away. No car necessary! Enjoy taking a swim or lounging around your own private heated pool in the backyard! For those nights you want to eat in, enjoy a BBQ on the patio, cook dinner in a spacious well equipped kitchen, or just sit back and enjoy the cool breeze on the screened in front porch. This 1150 sq ft two bedroom two bathroom house sleeps six comfortably with the pull out couches. Both bedrooms have king sized beds. A Pack-N-Play crib is also available for your use for the younger member of your group. For your enjoyment, we have beach chairs, wagon, cooler, beach towels to use during your stay. FMB STR #19-1361

Our family was very excited to return to FMB this year. This is a great location and extremely clean. The pool is in the sun all morning and partially in the afternoon. There's plenty of dishes and cookware. We would stay at this location without a second thought.

Great area within walking distance to so many things, that made up for no view, but was pretty private in the backyard, there were only people on one side.
The pool stayed pretty warm all week.
Beds were comfortable, perfect for 2 couples.
Only had an issue when a construction truck took out the Wi-Fi cable, Marilyn got right on it but it did take 3 days to fix. She did give us back $50 for this inconvenience.
I would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful house to stay in. It has everything you need. It was totally remodeled since the hurricane. The pool was so nice to swim in in the evenings. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Couldnt be happier with our stay.

What an amazing relaxing place. The host was wonderful and always available. Everything was walking distance .. the beach, restaurants, and shops. Everything you need for a vacation was available. The pool was great to have when we didn’t want to go to the beach. This house is definitely a place to stay to relax and enjoy a vacation. I give it a 5 star .. I will definitely stay here again.

Our 50th anniversary and we couldn’t have been more pleased with this rental. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the location and pool. We walked to everything which is exactly what we were looking for. Enjoyed riding the bikes also. Lots of good restaurants walking distance. Great time and memories at barefoot!!

Ft Myers Trip
Overall it was good. Started kind of weird because front door was open and the place was filthy. Then 30 mins later the cleaners came to the place and cleaned it. They did a very thorough job. Was a great location. A little small for our taste felt cramped. Also the back bedroom needs a better shade for the window. That light from the Marina kept me up late every night. Thank you for allowing us to stay was a fun trip.

You cannot beat the location of this house. Just a 5 minute walk (or less) to food, Times Square, or the beach. The house was clean and tidy. The pool and house was a bit smaller than I expected, but was plenty fine for our group. We really enjoyed our stay.

Quiet street, great location
This property was in a great location to restaurants, shops and the beach. It had everything you needed from beach chairs and toys to bicycles,etc. owner was very easy to reach and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend!

Very comfortable and clean. We loved the location to everything. Nice to be able to walk wherever you wanted to go. Little details such as cooler, boogie board and beach chairs was perfect.

Perfect for kids
Having a 14 month old can be difficult to travel with to “beach” vacations. Not the case here! All the amenities provided were incredible for a baby. We could walk everywhere we wanted. When it got too hot during the day the pool was perfect for us! We took the little guy to the beach around 6p when it wasn’t so hot and being able to get there in less than 5 minutes walking we were able to take advantage of as much time there as possible. We didn’t have to drive anywhere during our stay. Which in Florida heat can be taxing getting a little one in and out of a car constantly. The bikes provided were a great. We woke up early everyday and walked to the pier and saw dolphins in the morning! We loved our stay and wish we would have been able to stay longer. We will absolutely be returning to this home!

First thing to say is location location location!!
This house is very well situated 1/2 block from the start of the action & 1 1/2 blocks from Time Square & the beach! But still a quiet enough neighborhood! It is very well kept! Has everything you need + a very nice pool the lounge around & in!

Very convenient for vacationing with an infant!
We loved everything about this cute little vacation home. It was very accomodating for traveling with a baby. The pack and play, and high chair were a huge help! The pool was beautiful, and warm! Our stay was amazing.

You can’t beat the location. Driving around the island is horrendous and parking is outrageous, so being able to walk to everything was amazing.
The pool was immaculate and everybody in our group enjoyed it. The house is not huge, but enough room for 4 adults and 2 kids to be comfortable.
We arrived Saturday and found less than 1/2 tank of propane for the grill. We called and had two full tanks by Monday at 2pm.
The house could use some upgrades, and for the price, we were slightly disappointed although it wouldn’t stop us from staying again.
The chairs at the pool area have become brittle by the sun. A member of our party sat in one and it immediately collapsed and he fell the ground, scarping his elbow in the process. The pool toys are either all water logged, or have holes, and we bought (and left) a new air mattress, so our kids would have something to play with. We enjoyed the beach chairs and wagon, but we took the umbrella and upon opening it at the beach, discovered half of the umbrella is ripped and missing.
The kitchen utensils and cups/plates could use an upgrade (some where put away dirty), no plastic/kid friendly cups or plates and even though the cups say microwave safe, the microwave heats up so hot, that a cup of coffee put in there for 30 seconds, left a 2nd degree burn on my hand.
Some of the closet doors are broke and off their railings, the bathtub doesn’t hold water (we found a water stopper the last morning we were there) and the cable outlet behind the couch is pulled out from the wall and hanging by the cord.
Again, the property was clean, location was unmatched and the pool was great. We enjoyed our week, but for the price, feel some upgrades could be made. We would stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Great location
Really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and in good shape, the kitchen very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the heated pool in the backyard. The location of the house allows you to easily walk to numerous restaurants and the beach, which is important given the traffic and difficulty parking on the island.

This was our 4th time staying here, and we have already booked for next year. We just love the location to everything, you can walk to time square, the beach, and restaurant without driving. And the pool is great also. Marlyn is just great to work with.
