Great place to stay with great value. Clean facilities and friendly staff.

Location was great, bed was comfortable. Street was noisy but with the door closed it was fine.

TV isn’t connected to anything.

Maison ancienne bien rénovée avec trois chambres. Deux lumineuses à l’étage et la notre au rez-de-chaussée avec très peu de lumière naturelle. Si la chambre et les équipements étaient très bien et notre hôte très serviable…

La chambre possédait deux petites lucarnes et une porte ancienne très mal insonorisé. La proximité de la route très passante et à toute heure du jour comme de la nuit nous laisse un souvenir assez désagréable

The most dirty room I have ever been

The most terrible room I have ever been. I left Cozumel sick. There were so much humidity in the room. The walls are yellow from the humidity instead of white. The smell was not affordable and we couldn't sleep. A lot of noise from the street in front of the house. The photos in Booking.com have nothing to do with the real room. The last night, I asked from the owner to change room and she didn't accept it. On the top of that, she pretended she didn't hear me and hung the phone. NOT RECOMMENDED

Nice place overall

Location is good, close to downtown but not close to noise. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They even have a little garage to park our scooter!!

I didn't notice the private bathroom is outside of the room that I had to pass public area to access, should be emphasized in the description.

Cosy stay on Cozumel - great value for money

Had such a great stay at Carlotta guesthouse. I booked it very last minute and Leydi was super helpful and organised someone to meet me for check in. Everything was explained so well. The room has everything you need - a balcony, a nice bathroom and a reasonable sized bedroom with access to a small kitchenette. Leydi offered lots of great recommendations of places to eat and where to visit around the island. She even organised for a scooter to be dropped off at the guesthouse the next morning for me to rent which made my short trip such a breeze! Unfortunately the power on the island went out at 4am and the aircon wouldn't work which made it impossible to sleep but obviously not the hosts fault!

Very good

The room was comfortable and modern, with a balcony. However it was rather small if you have too much luggage like we did. It was walking distance to the port and pretty much everything. Host helped us for organizing a snorkeling trip.

Superb

The most helpful staff who arranged both a snorkeling tour as well as arranged for me to rent a scooter. Got a large room with fridge and also possibilities to make food. Relatively quit to be located so close to the city center, with Santander ATMs just 25m away, a lot of restaurants and bars in close proximity and not far to closest grocery store. Walking distance to the ferry terminal. There was also a shared rooftop terrace, though I never used this. If I ever go back to Cozumel, this is where I will stay.

The only thing lacking was a safety deposit box.

Amazing place on Cozumel

Everything was great. Excellent value for money. I would recommend to take one of the two appartments on the top floor. They have a nice terrace and share a small kitchen. Location right in the center of town. Close to ferry. Very clean. Great bed and huge bathroom.

Room with wierd Door where everyone can see you.

Location was great especially to the dive centers. There was hot water all the time. We needed a hair drier and it was provided. However i think ever vacation room should have one

There was a second door with tiny vindows in our room which open to outside to a way which is in guest hause property. This way is used for guessts to park their motorbikes. And was secured with a key to eneter. However we could had to leave only these small vindows open because if we have left this door open , other guesst had direct access to our room. This made the room feel ver unsecure. I trust the hotel stuff but why do i have to trust other guessts? Also stuff used this way to enter the hotel. Which we had interesting eyes contacts with each other. Check the photos out There were some other very tiny vindows but but we didnt get enough fresh air. Thebad was old and very unconfortable. Towels has some red spots on it. But they kinda cleaned the room every second day. Over all i think the rooms upstairs were beteer but we didnt have option and we wereconvinced by high score. Room downstairs was tough 5 for me. And it was overly priced for that bed. There wwerw lot of basic stuff missing such towel hanger... stuff provided us with one. Or some place put our clothes... I dont recommend the room downstairs. Also a cat 💩 front of our room. I have cats as well but is this a must in guesst house? Considering people with allergies.

Clean and modern, would recommend.

Very clean and modern with Netflix equipped TV and a large balcony and blackout curtains. Central location close to the ferry dock on a quiet street.

Checkout was a little tricky with the building key, since the store wasn’t open when we were leaving.

Street noise, such a pain to come and go through the deadbolt door. Honestly made me more fearful than safe. All the bars made me feel like jail and wonder if the area is that bad am I safe? Also felt ripped off .. when I was told that would be a special deal for diving Miguel up charged me $120 only to reduce the price to WAY HIGHER THAN AMYONE ELSE

Very comfy, spacious and cozy with an amazing Host

Super friendly Host and very spacious amd cozy room. Really loved it.

Water pressure is quiet low so you have to really stay in the shower to wash off properly

Great spacious room with a lovely balcony! Washroom was also very nice and spacious. Staff were very helpful for booking a snorkeling tour and scooter rental. Very close to many restaurants, the main square and ferry terminal.

Had difficulties communicating with staff when they were not present at the property. Leaving luggage after checkout was not as smooth as desired.
