Location was nice and quite. Staff was super friendly and brekfast was ok, nothing fancy but takes your hunger away. Free water refill.
Outdoor bathroom might get quite warm during the day. Quite small indoor area at the pool where to spend time if you like that.
Quite expensive rooms so might find cheaper ones also.

ALLES!!!! Wir kamen an und wurden von einem super freundlichen Mitarbeiter (Ardhy) empfangen. Es gab zur Begrüßung ein Empfangsgetränk und netten smalltalk. Unser Gepäck wurde zum Zimmer gebracht, während Ardhy uns über ein paar Dinge informierte und uns zum Zimmer begleitete. Es war liebevoll hergerichtet und super sauber. Wir haben LEIDER nur 4 Tage in der Senang Villa verbracht. In diesen Tagen lernten wir den Eigentümer und seine Partnerin ebenfalls kennen und es fühlte sich nach und nach immer mehr wie ein Zuhause an. :) Wir sind total begeistert und der Abschied fiel uns sehr schwer! Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt und wir wurden immer wieder gefragt ob wir etwas benötigen oder ob etwas für uns getan werden kann. Die Anlage an sich war sehr gepflegt und es wurde sich um alles gekümmert. Zum Frühstück, welches frisch zubereitet wurde, gab es eine kleine Auswahl und man konnte sich so viel bestellen wie man wollte. Die netten Gespräche mit Ardhy und Richard und seiner Partnerin werden uns fehlen. Ein paar Schritte von der Anlage entfernt liegt auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Strand und viele Bars und Restaurants. Die Lage war also perfekt für uns. Vom Hafen waren es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß und auf dem Weg konnte man auch Bikes mieten. Wenn wir noch mal nach Gili Air reisen, dann werden wir hier übernachten! Es war wundervoll!!!!!!!

This is a great hotel close to the west coast beach, but quiet and peaceful. The staff were amazing, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay.
The pool area was lovely, and a good place to relax or get some sun. The breakfast was basic, but good, and free water refills and drinks were also on offer.
We would come back in a heartbeat.
The air conditioning could have been a little stronger, but it was still good enough to keep the room cool.

The front office staff were the best I have ever encountered ( and I travel quite a lot). Bur and Lim ( I hope their names are correctly written) were always smiling, always willing to help and do more than required. I spent a fair amount of time just chatting to them about life in Indonesia.
Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

It’s a calm hotel near the beach and a lot of restaurants around the corner.
The hosts are amazing, gentle and very kind, helped us with everything and helped us to arrange a snorkelling trip as well and renting bikes

We liked everything! This villa is a beautiful oasis on the island. It’s closely located to a beautiful beach for swimming and to watch the sunset. The rooms are very comfortable, equipped with a beautiful and luxurious outdoor bathroom. The breakfast is delicious, served in front of your bungalow at the poolside. But the best of all is the staff, they are super friendly and helpful. Their service level can be compared to a five star hotel! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone!

The service by Lim and the other night receptionist is wonderful. Very attentive and efficient. They are so detail-oriented that they even arrange the shoes in front of my villa to not face the sun. It is also generally a very quiet villa, only on my last night I heard party noises from a distance as it was Full Moon Party at the bars nearby. Overall, if I wanted peace and quiet, I would definitely stay here again.
The WiFi is not that reliable and mosquitoes may enter from the bathroom. And not the fault of the villa but the period I went, the beach was not ideal for swimming/snorkelling compared to the north or east of the island (which is a 15 min walk either direction). The waves were stronger and by 4pm, it would be low tide. That being said, the sunset was gorgeous!

Very cute hotel! The rooms are very clean and the staff is extremely nice, helpful and supportive. It was a pleasure to meet the Senang Villa team! Amazing breakfast with even vegan and gluten-free options. The gluten-free pancakes are simply amazing!

Best thing about the place is the staff: Lim and Edi are amongst the coolest and most helpful guys I have met in Indonesia.
Breakfast was all you can eat and really good.
Even if the place is close to the beach and bars, you don't hear anything about that.
Rooms are in need of a renovation. Furniture, towels and bathroom are old fashioned and worn out. Given the price for a room, I would expect a better room.

I loved my stay at Senang Villa. The location was perfect - close to the harbour which meant it was easy to walk to when arriving with heavy bags. It was a 1 minute walk to the beach and in a great location to watch the sunset. The staff were fantastic. They were so welcoming and helpful and had lots of tips for things to do on the island/places to go. The room was lovely - very clean and I really liked the outdoor area in front of the room where I sat and had breakfast in the morning.

Senang Villa was a brilliant little hotel on the western side of the island. The western side is a little quiter than the eastern side, the eastern side is full of snorkelling and diving schools. The western side was much quiter with cool restaurants in walking distance. The room was a good size and comfortable. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but the linen was nice. There was an outdoor bathroom and shower, and it was fabulous! I initially had my concerns, but it was brilliant to shower outside with the trees above your head. The bathroom was a fabulous size as well. There are numerous great restaurants within walking distance of Senang. Mamma Pizza and Mowies were particularly fantastic, and the gelato from Mamma's was life changing! The staff at Senang were brilliant too, from filling up our water bottles more than once a day, to providing options of where to eat, hire bikes etc.. i think his name was Lima, he was awesome! The beach right outside the hotel is super cool, the sand is soft, the waters torquoise and there are loads of options to sit and relax on the beach. There are beach loungers, bean bags, tables and chairs, and covered day beds. They are all attached to restaurants, so you have access to food and drink all day whilst on the beach. It's fabulous. The sunset is also right outside the hotel on the beach and is brilliant every night! We preferred the western side of the island, as the eastern side is a little more touristy and full. So Senang was a brilliant choice. Gili Air surprised us, we absolutely loved it. We took a fast boat to get there. It does quite a few stops along the way, so it takes around 3.5hrs from Penang harbor to get there, but we didn't mind. Gili Air is a little quiter than Gili T, which is more party party. Senang has a great pool to swim in, with a tap to wash your feet after the beach. The seating area outside each room is so nice to start the morning.
The bed wasn't that comfortable, and the springs dug into my body after 2 days. The breakfast is very basic. Eggs and toast with some variable options. Its not bad, but not brilliant either. If you're ok with basic eggs and toast, it's good. The fruit plate was good and plentiful though. There was only Nescafe for coffee and tea. No additional coffee options.

this place is a hidden gem, Lim on reception, alongside the other staff, made our stay fantastic. nothing was too much trouble, the facilities where simple but beautiful. 10 out of 10, loved it!

Lim, the receptionist, is so kind and helpful! Provided great recommendations and goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure you're comfortable, safe and happy. Pool is beautiful and refreshing

An oasis of calm close to the beach and restaurants. Exceptionally clean with a good breakfast including fresh fruit and endless tea, coffee, juice etc. The staff were very friendly and Lim could not have been more helpful, giving us good recommendations for restaurants and helping us when we were stranded by the weather and all the ferries were cancelled for two days.

Our stay at Senang Villa was amazing. Lim is a great and friendly guy, he really made our stay perfect. His English is fluent, which makes it really fun to talk to him. He helped us with renting bikes and booking a snorkling tour, all for a fair price. The rooms are very clean and look really great. The swimming pool area is very well maintained and looks beautiful. This was one of the best places we visited in Indonesia.

Perfect location in a very quiet street. Super clean, very comfy bed and a yummy breakfast. But what made this place so special was the warm hospitality of the owner, who was very helpful with any questions and organising my departure pick up. I would stay again any time.
