Exceptional

Wonderful place to stay with our family. 30 sec walk to safe Beach for kids. Sound of waves from your bed, handy amenities, lush grounds and nice and quiet.

Exceptional

The tea and coffee was supplied milk and water in the fridge making contact with the property manager was super easy Kave and Jules an awesome couple who just happen to own The Flying Turtle cafe just down the road another must do experience this property was super clean and accessible A small shopping Centre and bike hire within walking distance Will stay again

Easy and comfortable place to stay, recommend having transport.

Lovely property which suited our group of 5 really well. Enjoyed the full kitchen and washing machine. Property manager was very friendly and helpful. Really well stocked, with snorkels and leftover supplies we could use. Great coffee at the cafe down the road, and convenience store at the end of the driveway. The owners were super helpful when our flights were cancelled and shifted our booking with no problems. Super easy walk to the beach, and we enjoyed watching the chicks running around.

Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working, but good bug screens on the windows so we just managed with a lot of air flow. The lagoon is quite narrow at this area so was normally quite wavy, although had one beautiful still sunrise. Is an easy drive to lots of areas, but we didn’t do much in the surrounding walkable area. Bring earplugs as there are a lot of roosters.

Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again

overall in a great location; the managing contacts were great and very easy to contact. House had everything required for a stay - either short or extended:)

Love having fans however sounded a bit like a plane taking off so couldn't leave them on overnight

Great location, perfect for small groups

Great location, perfect for a small group. Was great for us! 50m from the beach which is almost private, near to small stores. Would love to return!

A lovely home in a great location.

Loved the mosquito netting on all the windows and doors which meant they could be left open during the windless nights. Locks on the mosquito doors provided good security. Lovely big fridge/freezer. We enjoyed using both the gas hob and oven. Spaciousness of the home. Comfy beds, really appreciated the clothes racks and the two luggage racks in each bedroom. Enjoyed eating all our meals on the veranda at the large outdoor table and chairs. There was a large bbq which as vegetarians we did not use.

Would have been useful to have a couple more jugs and glass tumblers. And maybe a couple of microwave dishes. Would have been helpful to have been advised about blowing the multiplug adapter for the toaster, jug and microwave. After several days we learned that we could only have one appliance on at a time. We wondered if the bed linen and towels had only been washed in cold water as some were discolored in places. We would've appreciated a couple of sun loungers to sun bathe on the lawn.

Relaxing

Loved how close it was to the beach and that it had a full kitchen. Owners are really responsive and helpful!

We didn’t realise that there were quite so many dogs - they were perfectly fine but are territorial and will bark a lot and my partner had a small fear of dogs - so that being more obvious would of been helpful!

A great BnB would stay here again and recommend to others.

The extra items in the house such as washing powder, dish soap and first day milk were great. Clean tidy house, all equipment supplied to eat and sleep well, good location with shop and café across road. Very nice property manger, short walk to private beach, wifi hot spot.

Did not use heat pump due to charge of $25 per day. Our cost would have been $250 which is the average NZ year running cost.

Great house in Arorangi, Whales and Sunsets!

Very nice and clean house, It is quite new and has a great window setup. Every room has a very effective ceiling fan, we did not even use the air conditioning. Nice deck, great shower, great laundry...awesome kitchen island setup. This house had everything we needed and is one of the best we have stayed in on the island.

I would love to get rid of all the roosters....

Good stay

There resident dog scruffy! Made my kids feel welcome!

There was construction of the house next door going on during our stay from very early morning to after dark somedays. We never hear from the property manager once in regards to all the ants coming in from the cracks in the tile floors.
