Cozy house to stay in.

Beautiful location - great view and fantastic road there. The house was big enough for four people, it was very cozy in the evening. We had everything to cook dinner.

It was a bit hot/stuffy to sleep on the first floor, but we could also use a couch downstairs instead.

Our best stay in Island! Would love to live there forever!

Our best stay in Island! The houses are so beautiful! Such a great view! Light everywhere! Kids had fun sleeping on the second floor. The kitched was wonderfully equipped. We would love to come again and stay there for a month or three :)

Perfect holiday cottage

I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. From start to finish the hosts made everything easy. The cottage itself is gorgeous keeping a cozy feel whilst being modern. When we arrived it was warm and exceptionally clean. The loft bedroom was a perfect den for our Son and the view out of all the big windows was the cherry on top.

Nothing that the hosts could control at all unless they were capable of stopping the storm.

Well made little cottage, but it is little! Limited hot water

Clean and well designed compact unit. Comfortable enough for a quick stopover. Nice views.

Not enough hot water for five people. Coming back from a trip on the glacier, that was not a good surprise. The mezzanine is nice but not so good if your kids are tall!

Privacy; cozy cottage. Children likened the upstairs loft to a tree house

More information about amenities offered within the cabin (I.e. salt and pepper, cooking oil, sugar, etc.) so families and subsequent guests know what to shop for at the grocery store

Special location, in the middle of nowhere, very beautiful view. There is a kitchen, refrigerator, gas microwave. There is a grill, but they ask to clean it after use, and I'm not sure if there are cleaning blades, we didn't use it.

There are 2 beds in the attic, go up with a ladder and a very low ceiling, suitable for children or "flexible" adults

Spacious, comfy beds in main bedroom, separate beds in loft area for kids, well equipped kitchen, great views over bay

Cottages (3 No.) are in isolated rural location so need a car and to bring all food / supplies etc

Wonderful location with simple but complete and clean cottage

Location amazing in the middle of nowhere, while only 2 minutes off the ring road. Hiking down and along the near-by river was amazing.

All complete, but basic. Overpriced, as everywhere in Iceland.

lovely cottage in the country with space for 2 or 4 to spread out and enjoy the evening!

This cottage is a one-bedroom cottage with kitchen, bath, living / dining room with front porch and loft. We didn't need the loft and it was pouring so BBQ was out. But everything else was comfortable, easy to use, and made for a lovely relaxing stop on our way south to the South Coast of Iceland. It is not near any groceries, but the notes from the owner reminded about this so you could make plans. Really a lovely spot!

it’s too warm if not open the window, but there were so many flies by the window, can’t open them, so it was super warm inside.

Excellent sleepover option for a big family.

Very convenient location close to Route 1 in a quiet and beautiful area. We had a restful sleep, even those of us on the couch. Easy check-in and check-out and helpful hosts.

I would recommend the attic beds for kids only.

Fantastic

Clean, big, cozy and comfortable cottage. Ideal for a family and the furniture was good and the cottage was good equipped. You can find coffee and tee as well as some spices to cook with. The location was great, near to many beautiful places that you can visit. It was calm and the cottage are far from the main road. You can enjoy seeing the northern lights as there are many bid windows.

It was too windy when I was there so at night it was very disturbing as there is no 100% isolation and you can hear some loud noises. The road to the cottage was rocky and you need a 4*4 car.

great small cabins in a beautiful area

it's such a beautiful area, and the apartment was perfect for our needs. we were 6 and it was very comfortable. we even saw the northern lights right from the apartment :) . we were there in the end of December and had to stay another night because the roads to the north got closed, and the host was really nice, helping us with this.

the direction to the place in Booking wasn't accurate - I just copied the address to google maps and it took me 30 minutes after the location. we were after hard drive because of the specific weather in the day we came so it was quite frustrating. but after all it's very beautiful place so just be more mindful than me and you'll be OK

Cosy cottage in stunning location

A beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. It was very cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay. We had been camping and really needed some home comforts and this cottage really delivered. You can park right outside with amazing views out the window. It was warm and very clean. Comfy bed, sofa and seating area. There were also 2 twin beds in the attic which we didn't need, but would be great for a family.

It was fine for us, but it is in the middle of nowhere with the nearest town and shop being at least 30 minutes drive away. Make sure you stock up before you arrive (including milk if you want any of the provided tea or coffee with milk). The Internet was also poor in cottage 3. We were able to use the Internet on our phones so that was fine but just something to bear in mind.

Cosy cabin in idyllic remote setting with stunning views

The cabin was small but perfectly formed. Super warm and cosy! Two of our children slept in the top room, our third son slept on the sofa bed. we were all comfortable. the shower is great! the views are incredible.

The top room was very warm, but the fan provided was fab.

Nice and calm place to relax

The host immediately got in contact with us due a mismatched double reservation (malfunction during payment process in the booking.com app!). Thanks again for your honesty. Great place, very new, well equipped. The kids loved the beds "under the roof".

The beds in the roof section should be clearly noticed as suitable for kids only (no adults) in the reservation process. don't remember whether that's clear...

Wonderful stay

One word that sums this up is "cozy". We had three people (two in the loft) and it was perfectly sized and comfortable. The views are pretty awesome. Don't follow G-maps as they'll lead you up the road and then stop at a random place. Follow the instructions from the host (or just look for the sign on the road). Overall excellent stay.

It wasn't really a problem - but the wifi signal in house 3 (the furthest from the main house) was weak. It would come and go. Once I was connected the speeds were great, but I think the signal projecting through multiple metal buildings degraded the quality. Not a huge deal, just something to note. Sit on the deck and it's probably fine.

We loved this gorgeous little cottage in the countryside.

A gorgeous little cottage in the quiet countryside. Well set up for 4 adults. Complete kitchen. Well thought out details like a drying rack. Easy to locate in the dark. Very private and quiet.

The only tiny thing we would add is a little shelf in the (beautiful) shower to hold personal items.
