Situated in Hixson, this lovely farm stay for $129 per night is a great option for your next trip. This sweet farmhouse has great views and amenities, in a quiet country setting, just fifteen minutes from all the downtown Chattanooga fun! Three bedroom, two baths with a fully stocked kitchen and great living area. Enjoy all the fun Chattanooga has to offer then settle in at the farmhouse to grill out dinner on the screened in back porch. After dinner, roast marshmallows at the fire pit while you watch for shooting stars in the dark country sky. The spacious living room features a 55 inch flat screen SmartTV with Roku and DVD/VHS - choose to relax old school by choosing from our collection of DVD/VHS or sign into your streaming accounts to keep up with the latest greatest out there! The front bedroom holds a full bed and dresser. You'll find two twin beds in the middle bedroom and in the Master, a queen bed, private full bath, washer/dryer and a second smart television. Why pile in a hotel room and live out of suitcase when you can unwind, unpack and stretch out in this quiet relaxed setting? With almost an acre lot, there is plenty of yard to enjoy as well! Nearby activities include hiking and rock climbing in addition to the full list of options available downtown. Take in a Lookouts game, walk the Walnut Street Bridge, enjoy dinner at one of Chattanooga's fabulous local restaurants, play at the Creative Discovery Museum or check out a new band or an old favorite at one of the many concert opportunities downtown. *If you plan to travel with a dog please let us know the size and number of dogs you will be traveling with when you make your reservation request. Pet fees and permissions are determined at that time and added to your quote for your approval. Guests who bring pets without reporting in advance will forfeit their full security deposit. *Basic paper products are provided to get you started on your trip, however guests are responsible for any toiletry, paper product needs during their stay. Parking for RVs, boats or trailers can be arranged with advance notice. *no parties or gatherings

We LOVED the Redhouse and everything about our stay! The house is so welcoming and charming, very clean. Our host was more than nice and super accommodating. The community is quiet and quaint as described but not too far from downtown and activities. Will definitely come back for more family memories!

If you are looking at this listing just book it! The house is perfect! It is far enough out that it is quiet and relaxing but close enough to get to anything you could ever need. Stephanie is one of the best hosts we have ever had! We hope to be able to stay again’

I took my mom for her birthday to see her sister and family! This house was perfect!! We are from Az so the heavy wooded area was amazing!! Loved the front porch swing and the screened in porch the back!! Big functional kitchen, and just and over all great comfortable place to be in! Would recommend to anyone and we will definitely stay again!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Third time that we have come here, and definitely will be back. Quiet, peaceful and just 20-30 minutes away from downtown Chattanooga. Has everything there you would ever need in the kitchen,. Enjoyed sitting in the front porch swing, and we got to bring the family dog. Definitely 5 Stars

The home was very welcoming. They had fresh flowers on the table, moon pies and waters, along with complimentary shampoos and soaps if needed. The home was very spacious with my absolute favorite part being the screened in back porch! Highly recommend if your looking for a quietly peaceful stay not to far from town but outside enough to be away from the traffic noise and lights.

Things We Loved:
Quiet environment in the country amongst the hills, 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, convenient access to stores to buy supplies while staying (like Target), host was very accommodating and even provides a rundown of local favorites and hiking trails, the house was very clean and tidy when we arrived.
Things We Weren't Nuts About:
This is out of the host's hands, but you should be aware if bringing a dog to watch for the poison ivy along the roadside - in fact, poison ivy seems to be everywhere in Chattanooga (or maybe we had bad luck). Ants show up quickly, so make sure to not leave any dirty dishes in the sink.
Overall, this was a wonderful stay. If we come back to Chattanooga and this is available, we'll rent here again. 5/5 stars

What an awesome area to visit as well, we like exploring caves & caverns & this area & TN. has a bunch. Thanks Stephanie for an awesome rental for our first VRBO experience. It felt like I’d gone back to my childhood days on my grandparent’s farm. Loved sitting on the front porch in the swing early in the morning with my coffee. The location was great and the cottage was clean and well supplied.

We absolutely loved our stay in Chattanooga and this rental just made it even better. The cabin was perfect from the porch swing and the fully stocked kitchen to the screened in porch and the fire pit. The Taylor's realized we were low on fire wood and immediately brought a load for wood, and some fire starter, over so we could enjoy s'mores that evening. We were minutes from grocery stores and restaurant, only 20 minutes to all of the sights in Chattanooga but, still felt like a cabin in the middle of nowhere. If/when we come back to Chattanooga we'll definitely return to this perfect little cabin.

The only things I noticed, is the ceiling fans and most of the ceiling corners in the home need to be dusted and cleaned. There were multiple cobwebs in most of the rooms. Otherwise the house was clean. It would be very nice if there were toilet paper holders in the 2 bathrooms. It was difficult to reach the shelves over my head and behind me.

This is a very cute place that it just away from the hustle and bustle of it all. Stop close in to enjoy going anywhere you want quickly. Very good accommodations with that country charm.

We had to come to town for a funeral last minute. She was very accommodating and helped us with last minute arrangements. The house fit our needs perfectly. The setting was quiet and calm but very close to stores and restaurants. I definitely would stay there again!

This place was adorable. It is dated, but the pictures show you that. The only thing that was a little difficult was coming home at night it was very dark and light has a short in it or something and there would be no
Porch light so it was a little dangerous walking into house at night in the dark. The place is really cute. The host left us some little snacks and water bottles. We would go stay here again.

Check in is a breeze, location is fantastic, we had two 20’ rangers and were able to park one in the drive and one directly across the one lane road on a gravel drive(bring an extra extension cord) the home itself is great, has everything you need and the owners are absolutely fantastic to work with. 15 mins to chesterfrost, 15 mins to Soddy creek ramp. 10/10 we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for vacation with our children ranging from ages 9 to 16 and we loved the house! Everything was set up and ready for us to use as if we already lived there. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood which we loved! Would absolutely stay with them again!

We stayed at this wonderful farmhouse over Christmas holiday. The hosts were responsive to a once-in-a-generation freeze, offering space heaters, extra blankets and up to the minute attention. The house was warm throughout, space heater and extra blankets were not needed in the end. Wonderful ice sculptures in the Chickamauga creek hike nearby.
