It was just beautiful my family and I loved it had a wonderful Thanksgiving and loved going in to Leavenworth see the lights

Stairs were SOO NARROW and kinda scary lol

The kitchen and all the cooking utilities were very appreciated and the access to Netflix was great as well. The table is cute.

Property was not maintained during the winter. Couldn’t use the deck or the grill. The stairs were covered in snow and slick. The log stove was listed but didn’t say anything about bringing your own wood and we had to drive all the way back into town to get some…..the driveway wasn’t plowed or anything so as guests we had to shovel ourselves out, but when I called vacasa they said they partner with a plowing company but couldn’t give us their company name.

No breakfast but not as marketed

The loft was four queen mattress on floor. Spiral staircase to loft really narrow. Shelves in bedroom not mounted to wall. Kitchen was dirty on arrival. Fireplace brick grout broken and bricks loose. Deck lights not working.

NOTHING. Having stayed at the beautiful and well kept cabin next door the prior nite, our family arrived @ the Sweet Retreat to be shocked, dismayed and even appalled at it’s condition or lack there of. The owner had put absolutely no effort to maintain this with old fake oriental rug in the living room that never been cleaned in over ten years that the dirt is permanently ingrained In it. The upstairs loft floor is just four old, cheap beds two of which just sit on the floor. Only a homeless person would sleep on them they are so decrepit. To get to the upstairs loft you have to take a peeling old metal super narrow spiral staircase to it with the only bathroom on the first floor and is adequate. Kitchen refrigerator sits under the spiral staircase. Kitchen utensils are ten years old at least. There is no washer and dryer let alone a dishwasher. Outdoor garbage cans were overflowing with trash. Enough said as we went back to Seattle immediately as we would never subject ourselves let alone are kids or anyone we cared about to even think about staying there. You’ve been WARNED!!
