Our stay was good.

Great location, beautiful view, bathrooms were lovely. Our host organised a local lady to cook traditional food for us which we really enjoyed. 5 stars to her!

The house needs maintenance. A cracked & broken tile right on edge of pool. We didn’t need to use the entire house, but third bedroom had a hole in the ceiling and laundry needs maintenance. Did not like the microwave being on the fridge, very dangerous, had to use a chair to access.

Large house, great pool and views. Easy to catch a bus into the markets.

A little hard for our driver to work out where to drop us as the "front of the property" is half open garage doors and some steps. Had cold showers for 3 days as the hot water system wasn't working properly even though they sent someone to fix it. Owner apologiesed via email. The beds are a little hard.

Big house nice pool little dated but comfy!

The pool, air con helped with sleeping, Peter the gardener was lovely, such a nice happy man. The size, if your a large family this is perfect. Japanese restaurant down the harbour side road was lovely 2 mins walk away & the steak house was good to staff very friendly. This house throws you into Vanuatu and it's what you make of it.

Wifi so we could work out where we were and where to go before leaving the house. The house was in need of a little more love. Location is a bit out of town on the working harbour, but once your used to the buses your fine. Make sure you have some cash!!

Super friendly owner, great location, awesome sized house. I totally recommend this to you.

The photo's of the house don't do it justice, the size of house and location was perfect. Pick up and drop off from/to the airport for a fee was great. Glenn (the owner) was very informative and took the time to tell us about Vanuatu things to see and do. He was very quick to respond to any emails and kept us updated on any power outages, water issues in the area.

I wasn't aware this was a bare bones rental arrangement and that we would have to provide all our own toilet paper and kitchen basics like salt and pepper. It was only through my daughter reading the reviews that we picked up on this and bought our own provisions. It would be cool if you could have a cupboard left full off previous visitors non-perishables to be used.

Great house, great loaction and great people

Location was good, easy to catch the buses outside, enjoyed watching the locals go about life from our pool! Peter the gardener is a gem showing the kids how to climb the trees for coconuts and bringing us fresh pawpaws and mangoes, we returned the favour and bought him a beer at The Beach Bar. Restaurants at the end of the road were great (short walk) and the warhorse saloon became a favourite free wifi spot as the staff were very friendly. Although we didn't cook the kitchen has everything you could need and some. Pool was a godsend and we appreciated the floaty pool toys. Beds comfy and window blinds/curtains were good keeping the rooms fairly cool during the day as we kept them closed when we went out. When needed aircons in bedrooms were super efficient cooling rooms very quickly so we only needed the fans on through the night.

No aircon in living/kitchen area could be an issue if you want to cook when it's stinking hot, the fans might not be enough. Tv reception very bad, picture unwatchable so we didn't bother just mentioning it as it might be an issue for others, suggest taking Dvds or games, we played cards or just enjoyed the outstanding view. A tip for newbies to Port Vila avoid going to town on cruise ship days it's manic! Go in the opposite direction!
