arrived at the property with a code to get key which was the wrong code after a number of phone calls with no answer or return call we were still locked out and had to wait about an hour before anything. towels were wet and smelly, rubbish bins were left full and not emptied, main toilet not working, no water in kitchen. arrived on a public holiday. no toilet paper no shops open overall definitely not worth the money.

The location is really close to the main attractions

One of fans provided were broken and the air cooler wasn’t good enough for the living room.

Nothing. The bed had been slept in & unmade. The bathroom still had dirty towels. It was dusty & dirty. We walked out & didn't stay. You have the cheek to keep our money. Shame on you bookings.com

The property was very spacious and presented a very unique experience being underground.

There was no hot water as the gas bottles were empty. I tried calling the owner several times and left a voicemail but did not receive a call back.

Wasn't clean. Dust everywhere, no bbq facilities one pot to cook with and old soap left on shower floor. Mold and hair everywhere in bathroom and a broken toilet. Not as advestised and not worth the $300 price tag

The space it provided for the family.

The cleanliness, the dripping tap and the lack of toilet paper. Towels were also wet when we arrived.

This house was disgustingly filthy. I will not be recommending to friends traveling. The floors were covered in food as were the kitchen cupboards. There was dirt and dust everywhere. Soap in the shower was a small cake that was used. Absolutely gross!!

Leaking shower, no cold water in kitchen sink. No breakfast served as promised. No BBQ facilities as advertised. Poor net speed for streaming... ... ...

a quirky underground location and the two bathrooms were a bonus. My children loved it initially and I thought it was spacious and well laid out.

so.. as much as I wanted to like it.. there were omissions everywhere- no dishcloth was a classic- seems like a small thing but apologies to the next inhabitant- I washed the dishes with my hands only. literally.. spiders and hair everywhere. no soap provided, luckily I had my own coffee as the supplied international roast was probably not ideal, notwithstanding no milk provided either. and yes the kitchen was a particular area of concern- no cold tap and the cupboards were from the 1960’s- those that remained..and I had booked for myself and three teenage children but found myself making beds on arrival which is less than ordinary.

the house is dusty and quite dirty. kitchen is unusable except for microwave and kettle. kitchen is smelly too, need renovation. there’s no free breakfast as mentioned.

size, the experience of sleeping underground

shabby, top draw missing in cutlery draws, taps dripped, splashback was filthy, cupboards untidy, front gate would not lock. needs refurbishment and maintenance

Overpriced and very dirty. Took pictures of cobwebs spiders and filth. For $218 one would expect at least clean. Sheets not washed and we had to look for another pair. Cold taps not operating. Cupboard doors missing and broken. Ventilation blocked off in breach of health regulations. Power points broken. I'm going to ask for a refund. Pictures shown by owner not what we paid for. Awesome experience. Kids loved staying underground. Great if you have a caravan etc as u can put it behind the gates.

the location was good

floor was very dirty in places. No towel racks. no extra blankets. Firepit full of smoked cigarettes. light bulbs missing. no instructions how to turn on tv. breakfast supplied a joke. did not look like the pictures on the web site

THe location was great, although it was difficult to identify which was the actual property. It was great having laundry facilities. Bathrooms were great and bedrooms were comfortable. It would have been nice to have a heater as we were feeling a little cool.

The price of the property would have been appropriate should the kitchen be of the same standard as the bathrooms. There was no breakfast evident unless you count pantry basics of plastic containers of pre opened cereal which we didn't use. The stove hotplates were not very hot for cooking food. The kitchen was very shabby. The cooking utensils were mismatched and non-stick was not clean or functional.

Didn't like a thing! It was the worst place we stayed in our 3 week holiday. We stayed at another place in Coober Pedy on our way North, same price point, entirely different experience. Cannot recommend this place in any way!! There are much better places (at the same price) to stay in Coober Pedy. Do not stay here! It was cold, dirty, delapitated and owner could not be contacted. It was absolutely pot luck (& a kind neighbour) who knew where they left the key and was able to let us in.

Couldn't find the place in the dark, rang mobile from my husbands working mobile, but no-one got back to us (so as good as took our money with no care in the world as to whether we found the place or ended up having to sleep in our car - with 4 kids!). Only got in because we knocked on a neighbours house, who was then able to show us where the place was (in the dark) and where the key was hidden. I had received no prior information on this, and didn't have mobile/internet reception anyway. Inside was delapitated at best, cobwebs everywhere, felt dirty and unclean; was absolutely freezing. Our booking said breakfast included - there was no obvious breakfast laid our for us, but on forraging around, found a half eaten loaf of bread in freezer and half used peanut butter and Vegemite containers (which in Covid times, is totally unacceptable!). Garden views - really?!! Description and photos in booking.com do not match property... booking.com should be more vigilant to check accuracy of their offerings. Photos must have been taken 10 years ago, before cupboard doors, drawers, holes in walls, cobwebs, etc took place! Dreadful, and freezing! They hadn't even taken the previous guests linen off the line!
