Nestled in South Bend, this lovely entire house for $120 per night is a great choice for your next trip. The home was updated with new sofa, love seat, and bed at the start of 2017. A 58" television was added too. The rooms are spacious and clean. The slidiing glass door leads to the backyard and a nostalgic front porch swing is under a covered roof to enjoy in the rain. The home 3.7 miles from Notre Dame. It is close enough to be convenient but far enough not to be hindered by the high traffic surrounding the campus. A major shopping center is a mile or so up the hill and features many restrauants and retail chains.

Convenient and Price is Right

We enjoyed our stay. I forgot to ask about the staircase for my mother but she made it up and down okay. We would have liked a four place setting of dishware. We went and bought more wash clothes. The location to Notre Dame University was about 20 minutes with traffic. Neighborhood was okay. Thanks for the stay.

The property was an older 2-bedroom house that has seen better days but it was tidy, well-kept & very clean. Street parking. Location was close to downtown South Bend with its great selection of restaurants. Towels & linens were provided. Beds were comfy. Be advised that while the house has new TVs, there is no cable or WiFi. Paul our host was friendly, reliable & easy to communicate with. This house was an affordable bargain for our group to enjoy a Notre Dame football game & we hope to return.

Nice cozy place

The house was great for myself two boys and another dad. House is a little older, but kept up. Full kitchen, dinner room table, TVs no cable or wifi. I would stay there again anytime we or I'm town.

Great football weekend

Paul was easy to deal with and was always a phone call or text away when needed. Easy access and safe quiet neighborhood. Everything was as described and couldn’t have been happier, will definitely stay again when back in the area.

Overall clean but lacks amenities!

Owner, Paul, very nice. Dishes, glassware & silverware would have been nice! Coffee pot unusable, due to dried on coffee filter from last use! It is a work in progress and for the money it's okay! Close to downtown!

Paul was very helpful. The house is a tad old, but nothing surprised us.

Overall, the house is what we expected. Stayed here for the weekend to see a Notre Dane Football game! Perfect for a place to lay your head, then get up and go... Paul was more than helpful with replying to texts or phone calls. Highly recommend this place as an easy to and from location to Notre Dame. Call or email me with questions.

Functional Housing

I was in town for a race and to visit Notre Dame with my child. Paul was an outgoing and eager to please host. He responded to texts, and gave us an extra hour to check out. Five stars for Paul. The location, in terms of its relationship to things, is perfect. Its very easy to get just about anywhere within a few short minutes. We were disappointed to find no pots, pans, silverware or plates in an otherwise functional kitchen. The coffee pot worked, but we cleaned it first as there was what appeared to be a dead insect in the pot, and the most recently used coffee filter was still in the basket. This was my only issue. As noted, the house itself is fine. My wife and kids thought it was far preferable to a hotel room where we would be on top of one another for the same price per night. Its only that the kitchen wasn't quite what we had hoped.

Enjoyed our stay at this older 2 bedroom home. Plenty of room, yard well landscaped, vintage decor inside. Bottled water in the fridge was a nice touch. No wifi (or if there was we couldn't access), so that is something to be aware of. But overall, great place to stay about 10 minutes from campus.
