My expectations were exceeded by this lovely home. Less than a kilometer from one of Cape Bretons hidden gems, Point Michaud Beach, this house was clean and comfortable.Tastefully decorated, it is not far from a great little family market that sells staples, alcohol and some truly delicious baked goods.I highly recommend Rainbows End if youre looking for a place for quiet relaxation or jumping-off place a family vacation.

I stayed here for a month. This one hundred year old house has been beautifully restored, many of the original features have been carefully recovered, the living room ceiling is fantastic. To answer the specific points on the review page: The description is accurate, it is immaculately clean, and well maintained, the owners are helpful ( when I came back from surfing with all my gear covered in sand they installed an out side tap for me to rinse it), I would have no hesitation in staying here again. I was here for work, but while here I had lots of walks on the beaches, went surfing and sea kayaking. The sea kayaking here is fantastic but not for the novice, ( surf launches and landings and rocky exposed headlands, water temp in April about 2C)
