Ocean View Home With Large Yard, A/c, Hot Tub, Walk To Sandy Beach, Pets Ok

We rented this house for a week to celebrate my husband’s birthday. What it lacks in frills, it makes up for in location! The house is on a lot with a large, fenced-in yard - perfect for kids. The interior of the house is comfy and doesn’t have a ton of knickknacks which, made baby-proofing very easy! We spent most of our time outside, exploring Point Judith and the Narragansett area. This house (and the hot tub) was a great place to take off from, and land back at, each day.

We loved this little beach cottage! It was the perfect size for me and my boyfriend. Check-in was simple and communication was great with the owners. It was clearly cleaned prior to our arrival which I was happy about, especially during covid. We loved the location being able to see the ocean, lighthouse, and Pell Bridge, as well as being across the street from fisherman’s memorial. We walked over there a couple mornings and mediated on the rocks. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. If you’re planning on cooking a few nights, definitely be sure to bring your own spices. We absolutely loved the jacuzzi and found it easy to work. Our favorite part was all of the natural light that poured in through the windows every morning. We will definitely be back this summer to enjoy the beach!

We loved our stay at Point Judith! You see ocean all around and the lighthouse as well from the house. Hot tub was great! Location was awesome, we could take lovely walks right from the house, but there are some good trails and beaches nearby as well. The kitchen was better appointed than previous reviews had suggested, only thing I would say is that it needs more glassware. I would definitely stay here again and recommend!

We loved, loved, loved your house. It is a perfect location. The yard was perfect for the children. We didn't wander too far away from the area. The lighthouse is wonderful place to seat and read and look at the ocean. I loved going up on the lookout (fisherman's memorial) at sunrise.. We played on the beach across the street and also a little ways down where my daughter-in-law's sister had rented. Got to Galliee, Roger Wheeler State park, the farmer's market, that cute working farm. Ate lots of delicious seafood and ice cream. The one rainy day we had, we went to Mystic Aquariaum (which unfortunately looks a little tired).

Very nice vacation home, large yard with room for kids to play, easy access to three beaches, everything you would need for a wonderful family vacation.

This was the perfect size home for myself, partner and our furbaby. It was so roomy and cozy for when we were back relaxing from a day out and about. The only thing I could suggest is turning the water heater up just a bit more for the shower. (For those who like hot showers!) Other than that I will be booking again in the near future and recommend to family and friends!

This was our second time staying at this home, and it won't be our last. Worked out great for our family of five, and our nephew enjoyed the guest cottage the one night he visited. We all enjoyed the hot tub. :) Communication with the owner couldn't be easier and they are always quick to respond. House was well stocked. Location can't be beat. A couple suggestions: it'd be great to have some plastic or correlle dishes and cups. We brought our own so we didn't have glass on the deck or hot tub. The couch really, really needs to be replaced. Even our kids were having a tough time getting up out of it! Also, we were there Memorial Day weekend, which was super busy at Cronin. We noticed that with the trash cans so close to the road, there was trash in there that wasn't ours. I think people coming out of Cronin were dropping stuff in. Not a big deal, but that stuff definitely wasn't bagged. All in all, we had a fantastic week and are looking forward to our next stay!

This small house accommodated more than you might imagine. Two of the Queen bedrooms were small, buy very cleverly appointed with a simple open style dresser and clothing rack. They worked very comfortably for each of our two grown kids. There was a full bath for them to share. The master bedroom was much larger, with its own bathroom. A top/down washer/dryer was in a cubby in the master. The kitchen was well appointed and table seating could fit 6, but 4 was more comfy. An L shaped sofa could accommodate as many, but was comfortable with just 4 adults most of the time. There was a tiny guest house in the back yard with a powder room and outdoor shower. My oldest had two friends visit once night and it was handy for that. The hot tub was pleasant and there was a grill we could have used. We appreciated that we could bring my oldest's well-behaved cat! The location was nice for walking to the small beach directly across the street, just down a short lane. This beach had free access, and tended to be very crowded, but provided for a nice walk in the evenings. The lighthouse, just down the road, had an adjacent park with nice views, a trail and benches to enjoy the view. The public beaches, Block Island ferry were a short car ride away. The house had two TVs, wifi, central AC. You can stream Netflix, etc. from your laptop if you bring an HDMI cable. The house had many positive features, as described above. It's not fancy. It's not spacious, but it can accommodate most needs very well. The owners checked with us twice and very friendly.

This is our family's favorite summer spot. The house is well-maintained and spacious, the location can't be beat (right across from the beach and right down from the lighthouse) and the yard is heavenly-it's where we spend most of our week with young kiddos. The owners provide great service and we highly recommend the property.

This house was the perfect getaway spot for my husband and I. Loved the location and enjoyed the hot tub with the view of the light house each night. Perfect size for 2- 4, would work for 6. I think more would be tight. I wish the guest cottage had a small table and chairs instead of a second bed. The owner was very responsive. Looking forward to our next stay!!

Our dog loved the large yard, and the Point Judith lighthouse was just a short walk away. We were close to the ferry to Block Island, and the beaches around were easily accessible. One of the only other notes I have is that we had to bring a lot of kitchen essentials – oil, seasoning, etc. It wasn't the biggest deal, but it may be something to keep in mind in the future.

The Location is wonderful being so close to the Light House and beach. I was hoping to be able to see the water from the house but unfortunately the shed and huge hedge pretty much block the beautiful view. The Yard is great but I'd chop the hedges and move the shed. The house was comfortable and cute but so many little things added up to disappointment. Just a few of them , broken deck umbrella, thank goodness we brought our own, no working electric outlets in the guest house and a huge useless ugly refridge blocking the window and airflow in the room without A/C . Just get rid of it. The House was clean enough for a beach house except for the floors , we had a crawling baby so had to go out and purchase a mop since there was none at the house. We cooked in and it was really nice that they had a Lobster pot with propane tank outside for Lobster Party which is a must at the beach. The gas grill was also nice. The kitchen was stocked with enough of what you needed , nothing fancy but acceptable, utensils, plates cookware etc which was great. No Complaints there . We are used to going to the beach in North Carolina and you do get way more for your money down south and the homes are newer, but now that we have a baby in the family we no longer want to drive that far. I do Love the Rhode Island Beach Vib though and plan to come back next year, but probably not to this house. Overall I thought this house was a little expensive for what we got but like I said I am used the North Carolina prices. Over All we had a great Family Vacation at the Beach.

The location is excellent, assuming you like to be right across the street from a beach, which we do. The house was adequate for our needs and being right across the street from the Fisherman's Memorial was wonderful. Unfortunately the house was not as clean as we would have liked. When we arrived the previous tenants had left all of their unwrapped garbage in the garbage cans in the driveway and garbage was strewn about the driveway. Not surprisingly animals got into the garbage that night. Additionally the interior of the house felt as though it had not been cleaned. Counters and other surfaces clearly had not been cleaned and there was sand on the furniture. The windowsills literally had dirt in them, like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. It was clear to us that no cleaning crew had been in the house between the previous tenants and us. I will point out however that the owners were very responsive when we called them to let them know about the garbage. It was cleaned up the very next morning. We are long-time vacationers in Narragansett and we love it and as I said the location of the house was great. The house itself definitely needs a little TLC, I do feel it was a little over-priced for what it is. With a little attention this could be a very nice place to stay and worth the weekly rental fee.

The house is in the perfect spot - right across the street from Camp Cronin (where you can go fishing or swimming at the beach). The hot tub was fun, and the yard was huge! Having the cottage was nice for guests. The owners are very sweet, easy going and accommodating. We are definitely returning.
