Very walkable location. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Hot water, great pressure. The downstairs mattress was very comfortable (friends said the other two were as well). UberXL to the Arena was $16 on concert night.
Plenty of street parking. The back patio is not adjacent to another residential property which makes it comfortable to have a conversation We were a party of 4 adults.
Excellent bakery one block down the alley. Chicken Crossing is 2 blocks down (great for lunch).

Great house for a weekend for four adults. Only bummer was there was not cable or Roku for the front room TV so we had to go to a bar to watch any sports games.

Conveniently located, comfortable, easy to find. We were revisiting Eugene and going to a Ducks Game. Downfalls, traffic noise. Very close to a great bakery ( Sweet Life).

What a cute, unique place to stay. House is much bigger than it appears from the street. I loved the layout. Could definitely have a couple families, or a few couples with them seperated by the kitchen. Loved it.

We loved this eclectic bungalow. I felt like I was in a museum so to speak. Everywhere close to a awonderfulI looked there was something interesting to look at. This place was clean, had everything you needed and more. Beds were comfortable and the back patio was fantastic. Privacy and beauty.

Eugene was a good halfway point for my wife and I and a long-term friend from Seattle. The house was a perfect base for us. Spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and centrally located. The house was very clean and everything worked. The house is not a sterile tract home but has character and charm which was just our style. It is near a busy Eugene street but the only time we were aware of the street noise was at night and the provided white noise machines were the perfect antidote. Some of the properties nearby are a little derelict but we enjoyed the neighborhood and walked to the Willamette River, downtown, the U of O, and much more. We never felt unsafe. We are already talking about returning!

The house fit our family perfectly, providing four separate sleeping areas. Fortunately there were plenty of places to sit when visiting friends and family stopped by. It was the perfect place to gather. The house was clean and detailed. The house keeper should be commended. The laundry area in the basement allowed for us to easily get our laundry done and the washer and dryer were newer and efficient. The location was convenient to everything we needed. I would stay here again should I ever return to Eugene.

If you’re looking for a sleek and modern property this is not for you. This house was built in 1910 and still maintains some of the wonderful antique features with every modern amenity available. The host provided everything for a comfortable stay. My only complaint was the street noise but the host said she’s getting “white noise” machines to block it out at night. The house location makes it easy to get to major highways, college and downtown locations.

The house was very clean, and well stocked. The shower downstairs was difficult to use. It was a big claw tub that had no hand safety bars to use. My husband and I are in our 70’s. We used the upstairs bathroom which worked well. The street noise was noticeable. The location was excellent. We did notice a lot of homeless in the area.

Great host. Easy to communicate with. Best place we have ever stayed as far as kitchen supplies, bath supplies etc. wonderful beds with high quality sheets and blankets. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. Nice to be able to sit in the backyard to eat. We felt very at home.

We were in town for my son's graduation from University of Oregon. The house was perfect! Great size, good location, VERY comfy beds. And so cute! The kitchen is stocked to the nines--we prepped food for my son's after grad party, and had everything we needed for that. The yard outside is literally an oasis in the city. I'd definitely stay here again, when I have more time to just enjoy the space.

Bring your noise canceling headphones as the “quiet urban oasis” the owner describes is false, you’re not getting any meditating done here. Instead, you’ll be lulled to sleep by the sounds of loud modified car exhausts and trains sounding their horns throughout the night. The front window lends a great view to all the activities that a downtown location has to offer, especially once the sunsets. My teens and I witnessed drugs being dealt out of the car in front of the house throughout the day. However, once we saw weapons being shown and exchanged, we decided it was time to leave. We left in such a rush we forgot a couple items. The owner promised to mail them and never did. Leaving a day early also cost us attending the Eugene Marathon the next day which took months to train for and was the only reason we were visiting the city. The actual home is very clean and quaint, especially if you can appreciate a vintage decor.

Great property. Easy to get to and felt like it was in a safe neighborhood. We didn’t use anything but shower and bed but if u cook, u have everything u need. Also has a back yard and grill but didn’t go outside as we were pressed for time. Very nice stay and I hope it’s available when we return. Thanks!!!

Carolyn was easy to get a hold of and made the process super simple. The location is near downtown Eugene and you can get anywhere in town really easily. The fact that the best bakery in town is a few houses down makes this place's location that much better!

The house was easily accessible, clean and attractive. Some of the house was a bit dated, but the owners have clearly made some major improvements.
One downside was the water temperature and pressure in the shower. Otherwise, very good experience. And walking distance to the downtown area, restaurants and night life.

This is an adorable, well appointed house with a very accommodating and attentive host. I came to Eugene from Florida to be with my daughter when she had her second child-this home provided me an oasis that was located conveniently to everything I needed and I left my sister in law at the house without transportation often and she was very comfortable and felt at home. Having the 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our group. My husband, son (5) & i stayed in the little back room (with its own entrance!) with our own bathroom which was perfect for getting to bed early and up early. My brothers could keep adult hours, watch TV, snack. Beds and bedroom were warm and cozy.
The kitchen really had every thing we needed for preparing meals and eating together in smaller groups or as a family. A full sized fridge, dishes for a big group, and ample surfaces for prep. Near so many good places to eat and my sisters where we were celebrating mums 80th. There is even a little park near by on Monroe for my son to play early morning. Thank you Carolyn, we had a wonderful stay!

Any place away from home can seen creepy at first but after the first night . And the day broke , the charm of the house was enlighten, and how big it actually is. eveytime we came back we felt calm and relaxed to be home , we really do appreciate the place the owners and the time we spent . 100% recommended it . 100% worth it.
